Nobody can touch especially read Quraan Shareef without performing Wudu (Ablution) and he read it too.. way too many bloopers they have been showing in the show.. I don't expect them to turn this into an Islamic show but if you decide to show something like that atleast follow the basic guidelines..🤢

There are many sound hadiths related to this, such as the hadith of Hakim ibn Hizam (Allah be pleased with him), in which the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said,

Do not touch the Quran unless you are in a state of purity. [Related by Imam Malik in his Muwatta, and deemed sound by early and late hadith authorities, such as Imam Nawawi in his Majmu']

EDIT: Replaced touch by Read cuz he read it..

I just saw.. it's from the English side no? is Hindi written from the English side? So I'm guessing he was reading the translation cuz he was reading it in Hindi.. Arabic is written from the opposite side which is the right side while English is written from the left side..

They're making way too many basic mistakes I wouldn't even call it a blooper now.. every Muslim knows they can't touch Quraan Shareef without Wudu..

EDIT: Are the makers Shiait's?? They always tend to play this Ali Maula music at the back and that music plays at the Dargah.. it has nothing to do with reading Quraan.. just do not play any music 😕 No offense.. I'm just trying to decipher here what they're trying to show.. They need to elaborate if Osman's are Shia's that's totally fine if not it's not acceptable..

And again No offence to any Shias meant I love you guys I'm just talking in the context of this show..

But I heard ... told by my folks ... as long as your hands are 'Pak' you can? I do that ... make sure my hands are Pak before holding the Quran. If I'm not wrong. In Quran, wudu's not mentioned. All it's said that you need to have clean intentions before holding it.

You aren't clean until you have your Wudu.. You cannot pray Namaz, you cannot touch Quraan, you cannot read it.. The hadith is already mentioned above it's mentioned in it that don't touch it without Wudu.

Here's another one from the Quraan

It is surely the Noble Qur'an (recorded already) in a protected book [the Preserved Tablet] that is not touched except by the purified ones [the angels] ... 77-79)

Here's one from Sunnah

Sayydina Hakim Ibn Hizam (RA) narrates that I was deputed as a Wali towards Yemen by the Prophet (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and he said, "Don't touch the Qur'aan unless you are Taahir (clean from impurity)". [Mustadrak]

Actually in Indian TV/Movies -- playing ali maula music ... equals to being a Muslim. 😆 I don't blame CVs.

@MakhanMalaai

What matters is the principle of your actions. Purification means cleanliness. Cleanliness is already an obligation for every Muslim. Yes, if you have done Wudu --- good for you. But tell me something, if tomorrow somebody tells you that they don't have water to do Wadu in order to read Namaaz/Quran - Will you stop them from reading both? Niyat (of Wadu) is acceptable.

I'm pretty sure if there was a scholar on this Forum he'll agree.

And to answer your question regarding Fahad reading the Quran - Technically, it was CVs way of translating what he was reading to their audience. Besides, yes, the Quran's in Arabic but it's very common for Muslims to keep translated versions. And it's also common for non-Arabic Muslims to know what it says - if they have already read with translation.

Plus, I noticed they opened the Quran to a specific page --- where the matter was mentioned probably --- so they must have known anyways what they're reading.

You might be right Jake.. as long as I have read and researched we cannot touch Quraan without Wudu and I have been finding Hadith's to back up what I think so I will definitely follow what the Hadith's say.. nothing can be above and beyond them..
