Hey you all,
Today's episode really depressed me but all sorrows were gone when I read about our SD winning best jodi, best actor and best debutant! Vidya in the current track resorted back to being naive and dumb..
So I thought I would make my Vidya in my FF a smart, thoughtful person. Saagar is supposed to be dashing, cool guy with an MBA, his wife should be equally cool, right? Best jodi taab na banegi...
So this part is for our beloved SV, the best jodi ever...love you..
Warning: this is a little boring. My students were taking their finals and I started writing..please bear with me..at least you'll find Vidya little smarter...I promise cute stuff when I get back!!

Part Six
Next day they woke up at the rings of the telephone. Vidya hurried to the restroom for her shower throwing a quick smile at Saagar. Saagar went and received the phone. It was from Sindura! There is an emergency in office. One of their factories caught fire and burnt down. Insurance will cover them but some workers were hurt and they started a strike demanding compensation. So they need to withdraw large sums of money from the bank which requires Saagar's approval and signatures.
Sindura: sorry beta, I didn't want to disturb you and Vidya. But it is a serious matter and I needed to consult with you.
Saagar: Nehi di, hum abhi rawana dete hai..will be there by noon. Don't worry, once I get there, things will be under control. Just tell the workers that they are our family and we will do everything possible to help them.
Sindura was thinking really fast. "ek baar mere haat main saab power ajay, toh, dheri dheri saab meri naam pe kaar lungi". But her usual nataks of care continues. She said to him, there is another way out. If you call the lawyer and give power of attorney to me, I can handle this and you can spend time with Vidya. You always work so hard, and two of you never get to spend time together, so I would feel bad if you have to rush back. I can manage.
Saagar was tempted at this. He said (for the first time in his life without even thinking) "di, let me get back to you in 10 minutes, I have to discuss this with Vidya". Sindura nearly dropped the phone hearing this, she felt as if somebody has sucked all the oxygen from air but quickly recovers and says in her usual fake caring voice, "sure beta, I will be waiting for your call"
Saagar was putting down the receiver, deep in thought. Vidya came out of shower looking ravishing as fresh as a flower just opened it petals! She goes near him and asked who was on the phone, saab thik to hain na, why do you look worried? Saagar turned and became enchanted seeing his entrancing wife, completely forgot about the trouble. Vidya smiled seeing his spell bound eyes, went closer and touched his shoulder and said, "who called?" Saagar came back to reality and explained everything to Vidya. She secretly felt a little proud that he wanted her opinion! She quickly responded that it is absolutely necessary for him to be at the factory site, amongst his workers. The workers would find solace seeing him and there is no point in handing over power to Sindura didi. And about their time together, she is accompanying him not just to Delhi but in every second of their lives. So they should start immediately for Delhi. Saagar was really impressed at Vidya's judgment and thoughtfulness. She is the ideal wife one can ever hope for and felt he is the luckiest man on earth!
Saagar immediately went to the factory as soon as they arrived in Delhi. Sindura was already there. Vidya went home. And went directly to see Chinu and told him everything. She said it would be a good idea to take some food and cloths for the affected workers. Chinu thought this was a splendid idea. So they called all the family members. And all of them wanted to help. In no time they managed to bring food, medicine and clothes for the workers at the site. The workers were really happy and blessed Vidya and the family members with all their heart. They immediately withdrew any demand they had. The negotiation between the labor leaders and management were in a deadlock. With Vidya's kind gesture, the whole problem evaporated! Saagar was speechless and was so happy. Only Sindura couldn't digest this, she was fuming inside but had to put up a smiley face in front of Saagar.
Saagar was so impressed he just kept looking at Vidya on their way home. Chinu was driving, he was talking non-stop about Vidya's plan and the workers' reaction. They called her sakshat arnnapurna and blessed her to have 10 children like her, then the world would be as beautiful as she!! Saagar still couldn't believe what just happened, was awed by her. Vidya was blushing hearing Chinu's rampant praise for her and her husband's love and respect and amazement that reflected in his eyes. She felt so shy, she dared to look at him!
At night after dinner Saagar was in his room, deep in thought! He couldn't get over the fact that Vidya did that much. She never showed interest in his business but came to his rescue in need. He was in total admiration and felt soo proud. He longed to see her and god knows where she is. At that moment Vidya entered the room. Saagar went straight to her, held her face with both of his hands and said in a very deep heartfelt voice "Thank you. I don't have words to express how happy I am, how proud I am. I don't know what I did in my last life but I am sure I did something really good to have a wife like you in this life. I don't believe in reincarnation but if its true I want only you as my wife for any other life Bhagwaan grants me!! Thank you, you made me complete and made me realize I am not alone I can count on you for work and family both."
He kept on going "You know Vidya, After dad's death, running his business sometimes feels like a huge responsibility and all the time I feel like I might fail dad. But today I realized, that will never happen, you will never let me. Thank you Vidya." He hugged her. Vidya felt humble at his touch, she could feel the depth of his words and calmly embraced him. They stayed exactly like that for god knows how long.
Saagar whispered to her, "Anand was right you know?" Vidya breaks away from his embrace and looks at him with query filled eyes. Saagar smiled and said, do you remember, Anand told me I was your bitter half. He was right. You are the sweeter and better half of our union and I am the bitter and boring part! Vidya put her hands on his mouth, shook her head and softly said, Anand is completely wrong! I am your ardhangini, I can only be sweet and better if and only if you are sweet and better, I am what you are! Saagar held her face again, had a big smile on his lips "my dearest wife, you are on a roll, no body can beat your logic." He softly punches her cheeks saying "my angel, promise me, you'll never leave me. I feel I am not worthy of you. You are really amazing you know."
Vidya really gets upset at his last words. Moves away from him and goes and sits in the edge of the bed. Saagar is very surprised and immediately follows her and sits besides her, embracing her "kya hua? Is it something I said? Please I am sorry Vidya, please, Kya hua batao na, please." Vidya looks at him and said "you promised me last night that you'll never say such things as not being worthy of me. It really hurts." Saagar holds her really tight and kisses her shoulder, her neck and whispers "phir kabhi nehi bolunga..maaf kaar dona please, lo kaan pakda..please..and makes a very cute face. Vidya just can't control herself whenever Saagar makes that face because it reminds her of the time when Saagar was mentally challenged and reminds her of his true, pure and unconditional love." She hugs him back smiling!
Saagar in his famous naughty tone says "Vidya so what did you think about my workers, aren't they sweet? Vidya nodded smiling. He continued "Toh un logoko wish pura kaare?" Vidya says "kaun sa wish-unko salary raise?" Saagar playing with her hair, smelling it, and then holding her face with both of his hands gazing directly into her eyes, "nope, the one of making a cricket team? 10 baccha!! Sameer and 10 more would make our cricket team na!!" He winks at her "suru kaare?" "Vidya turned as red as a tomato and pushed him a way and tried to run..but saagar got hold of her right hand and pulled her towards him…
