Sindura makes up a story about Vidya's mom's illness and sends Vidya away and prevents Sagar from going in the pretext of office work..
In the afternoon at round 2, Sagar returns from office. No one brings water or juice for him..he remembers how Vidya used to show up in two minutes with a glass of juice or badaam dudh..he smiles to himself..looks around the room which suddenly seem too big, too empty..
He opens the Almari to get set of clothes to change..There is a small piece of paper taped to the front drawer. He takes it in his hand. It's a note from Vidya..he reads to himself..
"sunye, app mere acche pati hain na..khudka kheyal rakhna..bahar jaate waqt hamesha Chinu bhaiya ko saath le jana..please..promise ki jiye..waqt pe khana khaiyega..arr office se laut ne ki baad haame jarur phone karna..app ko bahat miss karungi"..Vidya
A smile lights up his face and he calls Vidya on her cell. The phone is ringing but no one is answering. He tries again and again. A bad thought came across his mind..Vidya thik to hain..why isn't she receiving the call!! He looks worried. He calls Chinu and asked whether he had talked with Vidya today. Chinu replies "subha se try kaar rahi hu..phone e nehi lag raha hein..app ko phone nehi kya bhabi ne?" Now Sagar is really worried. He tries Vidya's mom's house and this time he's in luck. The maid receives the phone and tells Sagar that Vidya went out in a hurry after receiving a phone from Delhi. She doesn't know whose call it was. Arr Vidya's mom is in good health and she went to Kashi Vishwanath Temple for a special puja!
A alarm started buzzing in Sagar's head. Who called Vidya? And her mom is okay!!. Whats going on? He looks at Chinu and said Chinu ham abhi Benaras ja rahi hu..tum plane ki tickets dekho and mein Di se mil kaar aati hu. He went up to Sindura's room and she wasn't there. He thought he'd call her from the airport and didn't want to waste any time as his heart pounding with anxiety ..Vidya..Vidya..When he was walking out of the room, he hears beeping sound..its a cell phone..there is a new text msg "Don't have to worry about Vidya anymore"..his hands starts shaking, he throws the cells and runs down the stairs screaming Chinu Chinu..Chinu runs to him with a print out of his e-ticket! Sagar grabs the ticket and runs out the house!
In the whole plane all he could do is think of her and praying to Shambhunath "Please God, Vidya ko kuch maat hone do..please God save her, I never asked anything from you, please God this is the first and last time, ushe kuch maat hone do..look after her please" tears were rolling down his eyes..his heart was so heavy but deep down there was a little light which was giving him hope that she is alright..the message in the cell was a prank. Or it was talking about some other Vidya, not his Vidya..
Chinu already had arranged a rented car for Sagar. Sagar drove as fast as he could. When he reached Vidya's mom's house, the maid told her she hasn't returned. Sagar just closed his eyes, his whole body is numb, he couldn't even think..suddenly he remembers Vidya's favorite place the Shiv Mandir beside Ganga. Something came over him and he started running towards the mandir. It was all empty. The sun is setting in the river. The scenery was breath takingly beautiful. He looks around with tears in his eyes and screams out loud "Vidya…" The echo came back "Vidyaaaa". He fell on his knees, he realized his world has become empty and life has no meaning..he looked at the God's statue with tears rolling down "why—why Vidya" and looks at the river..Ganga seem dark with sadness in the last light of sun. He sat there alone…with tears pouring from his beautiful eyes that Vidya loved the most…
Part Two
Vidya came back home after visiting her childhood friend and was surprised to see a car with its front door open in their yard! When she entered the house, the maid came and told her Saagar jiju came, when he heard she wasn't home, he started crying and ran outside all of a sudden..she couldn't stop him! Vidya was shocked! Saagar came! But why would he cry? Her heart was elated with happiness and became sad with anxiety at the same time, why did he cry and most importantly where is he now?
She took her cell out from her bag, the battery is damaged or something, subha se chal nehi rahi..She dialed his cell from her land phone. It was ringing but no one was answering..she tried at least 10 times. It was dark outside. She started to panic. The law and order in Banarsh has become worse. She remembered the incident that took place in front of her eyes. She was returning from her friend's place. Suddenly two guys jumped on the auto which was in front of her auto. The two guys stabbed the female passenger and snatched her bag! She shivered remembering that. How can people be so cruel in this holy city?
She was walking in the yard..kaha chala geya..phone bhi nehi lag rahi..her little heart started to ache..it longed to see Sagar..pata nehi kuch khaya eya nehi..kaha geyi..she became so nervous..she started praying to Shambhunath jaldi unhe hamari paas le aau..unhe rakhsha karna…its almost 9 at night, its been 3 hours, phone kiu nahi receive kaar raha unhe..kya ho sakta..She couldn't wait any more..She thought she would first go to temple, take Prasad for him and then head out to look for him…
She goes to the mandir, enters it though the street side, closes her eyes and prays silently…suddenly a strong wind started to blow. All the bells in the mandir were ringing like chimes..Vidya felt so sacred, she knew in her heart, she'll see Saagar soon..She was coming out of the mandir and suddenly a piece of paper came flying and fell at her feet. Oh lord, its her note, the one she wrote to Saagar. Vidya pagoloki tara mandir se bahar aye and went in the direction the paper came from..In the dark she saw someone sitting alone, with head bent..the sight caused a sudden pain in her heart..she went toward that person..and soon she realized he's her Saagar. ..she ran towards him..called out his name for the first time in her life.. "Saagar…tum thik to hona..Saagar sun rahi hona."
Saagar couldn't believe his ears, he looked up and he saw a silhouette..like his Vidya..he eyes were deceiving him he thought..how could she be Vidya? But in seconds Vidya came running towards him..he stood up..ran towards her..and hugged her so tight and started kissing her like crazy..her cheeks, her eyes, her lips, all over her face..he held her so tight that Vidya couldn't even breath..she had to stop him and say..kya hogya? Samalye appko..Saagar held her face with his hands, tears were rolling down his face, tum thik ho, meine socha ki tumhe kuch hua..My world was shattered Vidya, main eek pal tumhare bina nehi rah sakti…I know now tumhari bina main kitna adhura hu..vidya also started crying, she wiped his tears..aise kya hogya..dekhiye hum thik hain..appko kya hua..Saagar was still holding her face, kissed her eyes..and smiled.. "ajj se hum khabi aalag nehi rahenge..ek pal ki liye bhi…"
They walked holding hands and without saying a word. Both were so content, seeing each other after 24 hours which seemed like eternity to them.
At the dinner table, Saagar explained what happened. He tried to call Delhi and talk to di about that message but couldn't reach her. His cell was out of charge also. Vidya told him the phone she received was from Shalu and had nothing to do with her going out. Vidya was also thinking about the incident that happened at the road but she said nothing to Saagar as she promised him she'd never say anything about di without proof. Moreover she didn't want to think about di anymore, Saagar was with her and they were alone for the first time in their life.
They were sitting in Vidya's bed..its a single bed, so space was tight..it didn't seem like a problem. .A sweet breeze was blowing and the moon was out..Saagar was saying how he drove and what he thought in the airplane..he was only thinking about the time they spent together and realized how little time they were together..Vidya was telling him how she was worried and she was anxious as he didn't even lock the door of the rented car.. After a while they did not have anything to say..Saagar was playing with her hair, touching her face and Vidya was playing with his hand, and both were smiling and blushing a lot..But neither of them said anything..
Saagar broke the silence..said "Vidya" in his naughty childlike voice, "Tum haame kya kahke pukara nadi ke samne" Vidya looked surprised. She mumbles "maine.."..Saagar said tumne mujhe tum bola and Saagar kehke pukara..say it again please..Vidya started blushing and shaking her head and looked down..Saagar held her chin and made her look into his eyes ..please bolo..She looked into his deep beautiful eyes and in the most sweetest voice softly uttered his name and immediately covered her face with her hands..
In the moonlight her room was like a small piece of heaven filled with love…as if it were a fairy tale and the prince finally met his sleeping beauty…Saagar moved her hands and kissed her..they got lost in each other..time stopped and the moon even started blushing and hid behind a cloud..
