Hey, I have not updated this or my other ff (Jaise baap vaise beta) in a while because I have not been on but hopefully I'll get back in schedual and start on it! I'll see if I can update a chapter today! I think I fixed the charectars. It seems like because I was copying and pasteing the microsoft word stuff into here, the quotation marks got all messed... 😕 hopefully it's all better now!

HAHA! so sorry cherry! and everybody else who wanted an update! I've been sort of busy with some personal issues hopefully they are all over and done with and i can return to my fave forum on IF! i'll try to get up the next chapter by monday! 😃

Oh byt the way guys, I decided to use barkha bisht as mahi just because of their awesome chemistry in PKDN... Thanks Aditi for the suggestion to look in the gallery! I found some really great pics!

RECAP

Tushar has gone to meet the girl his father picked out for him. It turns out the girl is Mahi, but he doesn't know it yet. He is talking on the phone with Mahi and is about to walk in on her. By the way, here is a pic of Mahi and a pic of Tushar!

"Oh… Hi." Tushar said awkwardly. He had just walked in on Mahdhuri. Mahdhuri who had been lying down on the bed quickly sat up and blushed.

"Hi,"

"Umm, I thought this was the washroom…" Tushar explained.

"You need the washroom?" she asked, a little confused.

"Yeah, koi problem hai," he said, wondering why she was confused.

"Oh no, it's just that…" she let out a laugh. "You're on the phone."

Tushar just realized the humor in the situation. "Oh I… It's a private call." Mahi stopped laughing, seeing the embarrassed look on Tushar's face.

"Sorry,"

"Huh? Don't be! It was actually, a bit stupid." Tushar let out a laugh as well. They both started laughing until their eyes were moist with laughter. Suddenly the atmosphere turned awkward.

"I, I'd better go." Tushar walked out

Mahi watched as Tushar left. He very cute, she thought to herself. I wonder how Gollu will look? She laughed and her fantasies began. Gollu will look like this. He'll look like that. All of a sudden, Tushar's face appeared in her head. Oh my god! She sat up, shocked. Why did I just think of Tushar? She wandered. She pacified herself into thinking it was just a randomn thing. Maybe her mind was still laughing from their little incident… Besides, instead of thinking of this, she should get ready for her meeting with Gollu.

"Hey Di! Tayar ho chuki?" Mahi's little sister, Diya ran in.

"Nahi, hone jari hoon." Mahi replied, getting out her clothes. "Tum kahan se arre ho?"

"Arre Di! Tum nahin jaanti ki tum kya miss kare ho! Voh Akash yaad haina? Aaj hum dono picture kiliye gayete aur bahut mazaa ayaa. Voh bahuti romantic banda hai!" Diya had a reputation of being a little promiscuous.

"Acha…" Mahi replied, hali-listening.

"Mein yeh bhi nahin jaanti ki tum ek banda kiliye apni social life ko barbaad kadegi! I mean, you met him on the phone!"

"Diya, maine yeh pehle bhi batadiya. Voh aise nahin hai."

"Tume kaise pata? Trust me Di, tum bahuti bholi ho. In ladke ko nahin jaanti. Why do you think he was so bechaan to meet you?" Diya asked. Mahi looked at her sister anxiously. What if she was right? She didn't want to believe it, but there was always a chance. And she didn't want to get hurt.

"Phir... phir mein kya karu Diya?" Mahi asked, worried.

"Tu aise kar. Mein jaati hoon. I'll pretend to be you."

"Will it work?" Mahi asked, unsure if this was right.

"Of course it will! Trust me!"
