Now this is an opinion-based topic so everyone can put their own view across in an appropriate manner. Not that I need to caution you guys because this forum is the friendliest you can come across.

Anyway! According to you guys WHEN did Dulhann lose its charm? When did you start to feel 'this is not my Dulhann'? What do you think the cause of this was?

Speak your heart away!

Personally, I think Dulhann lost its spark when they brought Gauri in the show, it just wasnt the same anymore. The whole thing ruined the show and its innocence and even after she left Dulhann wasnt the same anymore. But, I've always been more of SV fan, their love story was more appealing than AD's. Sometimes, I just wish they had never showed the whole rebirth and they could have just stick with SV's story.😍

For me, it was definitely when Gauri came into the show, but of course, being a absolute SV fan, I wasn't too happy when they killed off SV, but....I really did like AD too, seeing SD portray completely different characters was great...but like Nelly said, it just wasn't the same after Gauri came in....she ruined it for me, even after she left...for goodness sake, why bother trying to bring in a third in between a couple who the audience don't want to see separated at all?? The Creatives knew that, yet they still kept Gauri in the show for something like 4/5 months...uggh...why??

I like being nostalgic. The farther in the past some things were, the more I reminisce and fall in love with them. I loved SV, but more so the pre-recovery SV. I loved all their romantic scenes afterward too, but there was something about the young Sagar and the doting Vidya. And maybe it has to do with the charm the show (AND the forum) held over us during that time. We were all so excited and everyone would be making siggies/avis, new posts dissecting everything SV did. The forum was in such a frenzy that you couldn't help getting caught up in it. And so maybe that's another reason I love and miss the first year of Dulhann the most.

Dulhann, for me, lost its charm when SV died. I barely watched the show after the reincarnation. I watched a few scenes of AD when people mentioned that they were good, but I was no longer anxious about the story or the characters. I think, that is why I wasn't much affected by Gauri's entry. People hated on her. And that's just an understatement. She was abhorred. And I guess I wasn't much of a fan either, but Dulhann had already lost its charm for me by then, so when Gauri came about, it was just another screw up. I had come to expect AND accept such things from the creatives by then.

Phew...

I miss SV 😒

Well Dulhann never completely lost its spark for me, because since SD were in the show it was the best show on TV for me and if i didn't watch Dulhann my day wasn't complete... now that it's over i realize that when i critisized Dulhann it wasn't as bad as it seemed at the time... now I would do anything if we could see some more episodes of Dulhann... because missing SD sooooooooo much!
When the reincarnation was happening i was really excited about it because we would get to see SD in different role... and i really liked it in the beginning of the reincarnation before Amar came to Delhi, but when he came back to Delhi everything started to be the same as it was with SV.... Sindoora kept winning and Amar was pagal like Sagar and he always believed her, and seeing that over and over again kinda got boring because it was the same story over again... and we didn't get many cute scenes just a few cute scenes after a long time of suffering by seeing differences between AD because of pagal Sindoora... and then when Gauri entered it just got very hard to watch because it was very hard to see such a cute couple having to stay apart from eachother... and i thought that after Gauri left the show it might have gotten a bit better, but Sindoora still kept winning again, and AD didn't finally triumph over Sindoora until like the last 5 minutes of the last show, and even then she was just sent to a mental assylum which wasn't even close to enough suffering that she deserved for causing so many problems in everyone's life.... but SD made the show addicting so i still couldn't stop watching no matter what happend in the story!

Dulhann was very special to me. At one point I actually realized that I was obsessed with it. But all good things must come to an end, right? The last time that I actually felt conected watching a Dulhann episode was the episode in which Sagar went after Vidya to Banaras and fell into that river and remembered the truth about Sindoora. After that, the show went horribly wrong for me. I did not like the fact that the time between SV was rushed after he discovered Sindoora's truth and how wrong he had been to Vidya. More time should have been spent of him appreciating Viyda. Instead, they started that stupid thing with him pretending to be intellectually disabled😕 Sagar's hate for Sindoora ended up being stronger than his love for Vidya. I had a big problem with that. That was when I knew that this is not the show I fell in love with. Then they killed SV and that was it for me! I never completely enjoyed an episode after that😒
Reincarnation track sucked, in my opinion. Divya's character was promising in the begining but then it got really wierd! I never really liked Amar. I know he was supposed to be this bhola bhala dude...but he always annoyed me for some reason. To sum it all up, Dulhann ended for me when SV returned from Banaras after he discovered Sindoora's true colors!

For me, like others said, BMTD died when SV died. I loved seeing the innocent Vidya become stronger and Sagar slowly falling for her and their love story. And even after Sagar recovered, he wasn'tthat obsessed with revenge and still loved Vidya (i.e. atta scene).

After reincarnation though, I sort of like the characters AD but then they too began to change and the story felt like it was dragging. Plus the whole Gauri think wasn't that interesting and I didn't like how Amar was so obsessed with revenge. Divya had told Amar to forget about it and to live their life and though Sindoora deserves to be punished, I don't like how motivated Amar was to get even. This showed the difference between the characters too because Sagar wasn't as obsessed with revenge and if Vidya had wanted to go away from it all so that it'll just be her and Sagar and no revenge, Sagar would've explained to her that Sindoora won't leave them alone or he would've given into Vidya, showing his love for her is greater then revenge.

Dulhann lost its spark when Gauri entered the show.....But it truly lost totally when it was found that Divya is gonna die and Gauri had to take care and be the surrogate mother....I personally feel that why should they suffer again this janam?? I think Dulhann should have ended when they showed that Sindoora was shot.....Then why bring back Sindoora again??? They might have just showed a leap from there.....See how their lives are going.....Some of my opinions......
God Bless,
Tatiana.....

For me, there were a lot of instances where BMTD lost the spark and my interest
First was when Surili came into the show with Sagar's kid
Then when Sagar was cured and he forgot Vidya
Then with the whole, Vidya pretending to be pregnant
I got interested again when the reincarnation happened, but that also died down with the Bharat track
