In short to some of the above .... yes and its very true, Dulhan lost its spark with the entry of the so called "Gauri"! Boy! I really can't get over it even now!!!!!!
Kamya as Sindoora also contributed to Dulhan loosing its spark! Her acting was soooooooooooooo stale and doing the same kind of act over and over again was a big sore to the eyes!!!!!!!

Anyway! According to you guys WHEN did Dulhann lose its charm? When did you start to feel 'this is not my Dulhann'? What do you think the cause of this was?

Speak your heart away!

hey reemz... long time... so sorry been reali ill and gt caught up with uni..hw u duin?
anyway bk to the topic, i liked the drama before the re-incarnation track...it was gr8 afta it too... but then it gt a lil boring, bharat-aditi track was boring... it shud hav jus focussed on vidya and sagar more...i think it was gr8 up until they were vidya and sagar to be honest...afta tht the show jus dragged..the new chaaracters--aditi and bharat track wasnt appealing at all... but i think the show went good wen sindoora returned as mad but tht lost its charm soon too😆

Put very simply, Dulhann lost its spark when SV died - AD didn't appeal to me as much as SV did...

UGGH UGGH UGGGH!!! When Gauri entered!!!!!! OMG Gauri freakin ruined the show!! She was "abshaguni" for the show!!! (The character casted an evil shawdow upon the show!!!!) Ugggggh!!! In so many months I finally thought of her again and that to due to this topic!! OMG she was a CURSE to the show!! The character made me want to stop watching the show but it was SD who kept me hooked on, I would just forward her parts!!!!

UGGGH it was GAAAUUUURRRIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She ruined the show thats why the show ended!!! She tainted the show and AD/SV's relationship!!!!!!!!!!

I think it already started with their reincarnation. But when Gauri entered it was completely ruined.
I think many things were mentioned already, so I'm not going to start to talk endless now, hehe.

i would say "GAURI" entrance ruined the purity of SV/AD love and the show and never really got back that charm...even without being a BMTD addict back then, i thought Gauri entrance was a total blunder..i can imagine how others who followed the show since the beginning would have felt...

Most people would say Gauri's entry but I would say the death of SV.
It really lost its TRUE spark then. The creatives could have done sooo much more with the story but apparently the were narrow-minded.
Right after the reincarnation was good, it tried had to light back the spark and it was there for a while, but after AD got married, everything became a drag and a repeat of Vidya/Divya trying to reveal Sindoora and failing.
So then and there did it truly DIE!!
After that, it kept getting worst and worst until it got to the point where I was frustrated, and didn't really care.

SV made me love SD....but SD made me like AD.
AD had some really hot scenes but the story itself was balh and nothing would flow in. They would just drop a romantic scene for us and we would go crazy, but it didn't fall into place like SV. Every SV scene had some significance to it, AD scenes just were romantic and nothing to do much with the story!! 😕

*sigh* SV 😍

Lima agree wid you.
Even tho I m a huge SD fan and watched BMTD to get my daily ' 'HIGH' of SD, BMTD lost a huge chunk of appeal when SV died....i did not watch it for a couple of weeks after tht.
But when I started to hear abt AD's love story.....i came rt back. SD tried very hard to ignite the spark..they actually lit the screen on fire wid epi's like 7/23 n the gazillion other romantic scenes....which were thrown in to send us flying into a tizzy....but it seemed tht was all there was to the story.
Then Gauri happened n the show spiralled down to the gutter! :(
Hated the end.........totally! Sindoora deserved a much more severe punishment than the mental asylum!!

For me it started to loose its spark when Divya remembered that she was Vidya. Then it started to get boring. Same old story, same scenes that happened during SV's time. It was so boring to see Sindoora win all the time...

But then it started to get good after Bharat came and so. But then it lost it completely when Gauri came along.

Up till AD in Benaras/ a bit in Delhi, Dulhann was the best show.
