I am not comparing Santu and Subhi. But I wasn't too happy with her quick acceptance of the remorseless DM. For a woman who was grieving so much, she seems to have had a remarkable recovery the minute her maalik called her dufford. I think she enjoys being repeatedly put down by him.

what else can I say Santu bechari

Poor Santu. As long as this attitude goes on all the divides - economic, social and age- will not get bridged. DM I feel should take the lead and set an example but right now he has his hands full with big cry baby Maulik. So I guess we will have to shift focus to Kranti for now for some real entertainment. Wish to have some Kranti scenes everyday. The man with smiling eyes and baritone voice is now the treat.

Opti, Santu is working towards earning the title of "Martyr".
But i also was very upset to see her on her knees begging DM to accept her. If she continues this way, he is going to throw her out repeatedly regardless of how many times he says "sorry" to her. That is my point. She needs to stand up for herself knowing that when she is right she must not beg for forgiveness. What is the point. The CVs are hell bent on making her a door mat.

lol chalia....I was actually agreeing with you in the sense that I think there is a urban/rural divide as you said in your post about michi being an urban couple as opposed to SanRaj who are rural with a rural mindset, so the two can't be compared.....besides as far as I remember, Milind was absolutely crazy about Prachi and his accusations before the c-night was brought on by jealousy.....whereas here DM hasn't even confessed to Santu yet that he loves her ......so I don't think we can compare the two couples or the two c-nights.....the two couples shared very different relationship dynamics and were emotionally at different stages in their relationship.

I was disagreeing with the comparison between Subhi and Santu and expecting Santu to treat DM as an equal/partner like Subhi did at this stage of their relationship....maybe eventually it will happen but at this stage of their relationship, Santu definitely does not consider DM an equal because of the reasons cited earlier.

I don't think DM calls her duffod to put her down, most of the time the way he says it, he uses it as a term of endearment

You know shalu, thats why i actually wondered why there was such a rush for a SR that too in the open air😆
So many unresolved issues hang between this couple (DM and Santu) and still she just behaves like a puppet and looks at him adoringly. Some serious making up is due in terms everything. And DM is not madly in love with Santu. Her youth and admiration of him flatter his ego.

I agree....the SR was a bit unexpected.......maybe there is a reason which will surface in the upcoming track....who knows......or maybe the CVs got concerned with all the DM bashing due to his treatment of Santu and used the SR to appease the folks......or maybe there was a slump in TRPs and this was a shock tactic to bump it up.....who knows

Talking of this whole thing about rural, tell me in which rural locality a couple make out in the open? Especially when one of them is the elderly mallik of the village? So when DM's lack of remorse can be excused because he is rural in outlook, should we not expect him to be more proper where he exhibits his passion too?
Yes, Milind was crazy about Prachi and his accusations were brought on by jealousy but he had not confessed his feelings to Prachi before. Prachi was as ignorant of his feelings for her as he was of her feelings for him. In fact Prachi was the one who confessed her feelings first. Milind confessed his feelings only after he knew about her feelings. He apologised much before that though.
I dont think a love confession is required to feel remorseful for the way your treated your wife. DM should obviously be in love with his wife by now. If he was not and still did it, that would only put him down further in my eyes.
It is not so much Santu treating him as an equal partner but not stooping too low and holding her own self esteem. If she was not doing it herself, the mighty DM atleast should ensure that he does not put her in that position in the first place.
