But i do agree that Aasiya is not progressing. She has plateaued since about a month. Maybe the fatigue of shooting long hours and studying with it etc. Its DM and Santu here and has no bearing on the fact that Aasiya calls Ronit as Ronit bhai.

The fact that she didnt use a body double goes to show that the comfort level is enormous. I do not fault the chemistry. It is definitely there but a bit damp at present maybe.

it was very brave of her to do what she did.

This is first role so I think she deserves every credit.

I think the question on chemistry is arising because DM is still conscious of the age gap, which keeps coming up in his conversations with her. Even his look is mostly indulgent or reprimanding as one would with someone much younger than oneself. Santu is not making things easier either by behaving like a real 'duffod' as he calls her. Take the incident yesterday, her trying to copy the cat's walk. Although the scene was hilarious, it brings out her mental maturity, or the lack of it. She can at times act exactly the opposite of that too and behave like an old wise woman, especially when DM behaves like a stubborn, unreasonable little boy. So I guess what I am saying is that they are still not on the mental plane, atleast of the time. Either one is up and the other down or vice versa. Once they get on the same plane, I think the chemistry will be more palpable.

Personally I like the cute awkward moments and the banter between them.
