RIP Rajvir Jawanda: Singer's mother breaks down during cremation; Ammy Virk, Satinder Sartaj console family

The tragic demise of Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda left the nation in mourning. It has also made people question those in power about road safety in India. His cremation took place today afternoon in Ludhiana's Pona Village. The visuals of his family unable to control their tears has left people devastated. He met with accident on September 27, 2025 near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh's Solan District. He was brought in a critical state to a private hospital and later shifted to Fortis in Mohali. He died on October 8, 2025 due to multi-organ failure. His condition did not improve as blood supply to his brain had stopped due to the spinal cord injuries.

The CM of Punjab Bhagwant Mann was there to pay tributes to the late singer. He said this was a huge loss for his family, fans and the industry. Rajvir Jawanda was only 35. Some of the Punjabi singers present were Satinder Sartaj, Babbu Mann, Jasbir Jassi, Karamjit Anmol, Harbhajan Mann and Ammy Virk.

Rajvir Jawanda was driving a BMW 1300 cc motorcycle in Solan. A bull hit his vehicle and the motorcycle fell with him sustaining severe injuries. He had tried to avert the accident but could not do so. Rajvir Jawanda was married to Ashwinder Kaur. They had two kids, a son Dilawar Singh and a daughter, Hemant Kaur. It seems his wife Ashwinder had told him not to take the bike out on that day as she felt uneasy. This was revealed by close sources. People are also questioning road safety where cattle often walk on highways.

He suffered a cardiac arrest after the accident, which made things even more difficult. The doctors said a team of neurosurgery experts had monitored him 24x7 but his condition did not seem to improve. This is a heart-breaking loss for his family. We extend our condolences to his near and dear ones.
