Please do something and restrain this person Payal from getting personal and attacking members and being sarcastic. There is a big majority here that enjoys Bandini as a story, a fictional account. Those who do not, are free to start their own website or blog or whatever and air their views. I find Payal's views extremely aggressive and offensive. Please moderators, kindly do something. She is making it difficult for others to take part.
In an earlier post, this person suggests that the character of DM would have married 13-yr old Moongi if that suited him. Is that not an accusation of paedophilia? How can such an accusation be made about a TV show played by professionals, and watched by families across India? Is this responsible viewership?
No one from Bandini ever said this show is about reforming society. There are shows on other channels which make that claim explicitly. Bandini does not.
We all have some characters we like in a story, and some we do not. But that does not mean we can insult the characters we do not like. If we only had characters we like, a show will have just 3 or 4 actors.
If we cannot judge fairly, we should not air our views. Just accept our biased view and keep it to ourselves. We all have a right to our opinion, but none of us have a right to infringe on other people's sensibilities and hurt, upset and threaten and make a public forum like IF an unwelcome space. Payal is in serious danger of doing that.
