Yep, guys, let's just enjoy the show! Stop all this arguing about fake characters who are totally fictional and be the sweet forum we used to be😃 Let's see what the creatives have in store for us next, shall we?😊

*Viewbie Note*

This thread has become very sore and members are requested to put forth their points of view in a civil and polite manner without getting personal against other forum members and making personal attacks.

Every one is entitled to their point of view but at the same time everyone has to be mindful of how it is put across.

The DM-Santu and Hiten-Khemi scenarios have be discussed, analysed and countered from every which way and angle. It seems the writers have achieved what they set out to do and that is to keep the viewers on edge. They had to create this drama to keep the story moving forward. If Khemi quietly got married to Shambhu and Hiten moved back to his life in the haveli, neither Hiten nor Khemi would much scope to take their character forward. Maybe the writers deem it necessary to create a rift between the sisters and also keep DM and Hiten at opposite ends of the spectrum.

All members are requested to take a step back and see what comes out of the raaz related to Taru's past. Both DM and Hiten worshipped Subhadra in their own way and it is most likely that both these men are going to be shattered when the raaz comes out. And, with the raaz coming out, the maasi-bhanja scenario may also be resolved.

This thread is being left open for now. However, if the soreness continues here or in any of the other threads, they will be locked.

Please do something and restrain this person Payal from getting personal and attacking members and being sarcastic. There is a big majority here that enjoys Bandini as a story, a fictional account. Those who do not, are free to start their own website or blog or whatever and air their views. I find Payal's views extremely aggressive and offensive. Please moderators, kindly do something. She is making it difficult for others to take part.
In an earlier post, this person suggests that the character of DM would have married 13-yr old Moongi if that suited him. Is that not an accusation of paedophilia? How can such an accusation be made about a TV show played by professionals, and watched by families across India? Is this responsible viewership?
No one from Bandini ever said this show is about reforming society. There are shows on other channels which make that claim explicitly. Bandini does not.
We all have some characters we like in a story, and some we do not. But that does not mean we can insult the characters we do not like. If we only had characters we like, a show will have just 3 or 4 actors.
If we cannot judge fairly, we should not air our views. Just accept our biased view and keep it to ourselves. We all have a right to our opinion, but none of us have a right to infringe on other people's sensibilities and hurt, upset and threaten and make a public forum like IF an unwelcome space. Payal is in serious danger of doing that.

tvrasika,I am glad that you have requested the moderators to make a fair judgement.I hope they read the post as i am sure they understand simple english and would be able to make out that the post says that if hiten becomes like dm he should make sweet talks to the villagers, marry moongi or even a girl younger than her and still demand respect from birwa.
"yes hiten, stop being what u are and be like dm,make sweet talks to the villagers and marry moongi or even a girl smaller than her for the sake of ur business and still demand respect from birwa"
I hope they read ur post again and tell you what a personal attack is
even i have a request for thet moderators, pls restrain users who start a topic and expect everybody should speak lines they like to read.if somebody does'nt,they get offensive and destroy the environment.

DM is selfish too which is why he married Santu in the first place (in to ensure that his business does not suffer. Did he bother about how his children would take it? He tried to stash away his new bride and hoped after he ties the knot, the girl would just be banished into oblivion and he does not have to face the consequences). No wonder Hiten does not miss an opportunity to rub it in to DM. Of course he understands Santu's plight. Was he not one of the first to point it out to his father that he has married a naive girl who is young enough to be his daughter, only for his selfish purposes? Why was he rude to Santo then? Because she was being interfering and preventing him from telling his father the truth about him and Khemi. She was trying to play mother to him which he does not like or care. She was telling him what he has to do which obviously he did not like.
As to falling at his father's feet, Hiten is not the character to fall at anyone's feet if he is not convinced that he is wrong. As far as he is concerned he has done no wrong in loving Khemi or wanting to marry him. He has an ego as big as his father. His father treated Santo so badly so many times. Did we see him apologise directly for all of them when he realised his mistake?
Yes, Hiten is rough in his dealings with people but he is also a guy who has a sensitive heart. He cares a lot for his father and has defended him in the presence of his father's enemies. But this is his life and he does not want anyone (including his father) to interfere with that. Why did he wait for so long? Yes, this was a mistake. He should have confessed his love earlier and not wait for Khemi to confess first but better late than never.
As to this marriage, if Khemi marries Shambu, three lives would be affected. I think 'honour' an take a back seat when so many lives are at stake. Shambu himself is not willing for this alliance, knowing about Khiten.
As to stupidity, Hiten is not the only stupid one in the show. I think all the adults in the show have acted stupidly at some point or other (except may be Champakali).

I agree with you Opti

this very silly TWO people love each other and only reason they cant be togather is because of what MIGHT happen. no body knows what the future hold so why waste happiness on what might happen. as for rudeness thats the only language DM seemed to undeerstand. he need to accepte that his children grown up and they have intereast of thir own. if he was talking calmy to Hiten then Hiten might have learned from that and spoke nicly towards him.

i dont agree with u rakun. If u remember when santu got married to dm and the whole village was going gaga that she is destined to be a malkin and even nanaji gave his consent, khemi was the one and only person to put the point that dm is thrice as old as santu and asked nanaji how can santu be happy in such a relationship.she again reacted when she learned from nanaji that dm has five children out of which 3 are older than santu.she has always been a loyal and loving sister who cared about her sister's happiness rather than going gaga over sweet, polished but ugly words like khaandaan, maan, aan, shaan and all that.now when it's santu's turn to pay back, she preferred taking a back seat and behave like a selfish mahiyawanshi who can ruin innocent lives to save her khaandaan, aan, maan aur shaan.if she calls herself malkin now she should be doing nyaay which she is certainly not doing.what is the couple's fault if santu has been so called married to dharampur ke maalik.acha tell me,if hiten and khemi would have somehow met before santu's marriage what would have santu done?after entering the mahiyawanshi household she would have said....chee behna, kitni giri hui harkat ki hain tumne.....apne hi bhanje ke saath.....cheee.
isnt it?
i have always liked santu's character, she was so calm and mature in handling situations.baa was right when she said that santu has actually taken subhadra's place and what she did for kaddu could have been done by none other than subhadra.but if she can behave so maturely for kaddu, doesnt the same apply to her when she thinks about hiten?
as for khemi,we all know love is unconditional.u cant help urself falling in love.bcoz if it is conditional, its business and not love..still she resisted hiten from day1 as she knew what was santu's relation to him.Its a different story that neither dm accept's santu as his wife nor hiten accepts her as his mother but khemi is still called hiten's maasi.what strange customs...a 50 year old man marries an 18 year old year and it is called a marriage.but when two matched adults want to marry it is called a paap just because of some twisted realtionships born recently to which they were not a party.if this is so,the solution should also be there so that it gives birth to one more twisted relation that allows them to marry and not a separate them bcoz of this.khemi can be given gode to parshu kaka so that she becomes parshu kaka's daughter and not santu's sister anymore...see the problem is solved..
I really liked how khemi and hiten confronted the whole village and gave an answer to each of their questions.they were right.they have been in love and have not committed a crime.then why cant they be together?why would they run away?I saw in one of the posts where a one of users tvrasika wanted them to admit in front of the whole village that they want to marry and dont care of the jabardasti ka maasi bhanja realtion they are being tied into.see they have done it..
WELL DONE HITEN KHEMI!!!
now let the villagers answer your questions as to why u guys dont deserve to be together.
go 4 it.

Well I agree he married Santu for his own selfish reasons, but he saved Santu's life from being destroyed.. Anyways I am not going into that arguments.. Becoz if he won't have married Santu, Nanaji's family would be abandoned..

But Hiten-Khemi marriage can not take place for such simple reason, forced or unforced, they ARE maasi-bhaanjaa.. If Hiten is DM's son, then the relationbship of HK is cheap..

Love is not everything in life.. it CAN happen twice.. if tried.. U gotta marry a person whom ur family think is best for you.. that's the custom here.. And if u marry going against ur family, the consequences are not so good in future.. Marriage is not a ride or love.. it's a committment..

Hiten-Khemi's love was nice.. I love them.. But the step they have taken is NO way acceptable for me

P.S -- Here I meant 'ONE' by 'U'.. Nothing personal😃

It's not something new we woul see here if Sambhu-Khemi were married.. So many BT shows are there, where the girl loved somebody else before marriage, but moved on.. after marriage.. What's wrong in that!😕
Well but they already eloped.. so what's the point!
