I stand by my first post, khemi and hiten are cowards, majority of us agree that hiten and khemi love each other that's not the argument but they way they go about is wrong and selfish. Santo repented for slaping her sister, she's not proud of it. Santo is worried for sister and for good reason, moti-ben is a nasty cow who has her reason why she hate low caste people. DM may not mind that hiten loves a girl from the low caste but will be upset cause they felt this way and wanted the marriage with Shambu, who will be hurt in all this. I really hope by tomorrow this crazy track is over and the whole truth comes out by hiten and khemi and we can move on from their.

sg08.....I completely agree with you Khemi deserve no break. When khemi didn't marry mahesh she convince Santo to think about nanaji and all he did for them and agree to the marriage, why isn't she thinking about nanaji now. Khemi was shock when Santo told her she told nanaji, he sided with her and wanted her to make the decision as the malkin. Khemi was also the first to lecture Santo about how Santo didn't do right about not telling the family about kaddu and sandy when moti-ben over heard the conversation which almost got Santo threwn out of the house. Khemi is so big on truth when is other people but not herself what a hypocrite.

I agree with those who believe that Khemi and Hiten are acting selfishly.
Like boosi says, Khemi told Santo to agree to marry Mahesh. Santo looked up to her as the elder sister. But Khemi asked Santo to think about family first. So that should apply to Khemi also.
To those who say love is above everything, have we not been given evidence of Santo slowly falling in love with her husband? So what if her husband is much older? He is her husband after all. It is not just young love that is important. Love between people already married should also be given due place.
Khemi is shocked when Santo tells her she told Nanaji about her and Hiten. Khemi is like, 'Oh my god, you told Nanaji'? What does Khemi expect? That no one should know about her and Hiten? Where do they plan to get married, in Hawaii?
Also look at how Hiten treats his father and Santo. If Santo is wrong to have slapped her elder sister, is it right of Hiten to disrespect his dad and mock him for marrying Santo? He fully knows why that marriage happened. He knows how much Santo has done for his family and what she had to put up with. Yet, he treats Santo with total disdain. Would Khemi really want to marry a man like that?
Hiten is no more brave than Kaddu. If he had an iota of self-respect, he would have gone to his father a long time ago and told him about his love for Khemi. He does not care about what his father thinks anyway. So what is keeping him? He wants to wait for Shambu to come to Mahiyavanshi house for the muhurat and then break the 'good news'?
Hiten will tell Shambu 'Really sorry dude that I promised you you will marry Khemi. if my dad had opposed the marriage, I would have taken it as my life's sole project to get you married to her. But as you see, my dad did not oppose it. so I have no reason to support it. Moreover the girl loves me, not you. We just decided to make it official now..really sorry. I hope you find someone nice'!!!!
Khemi lied to Motiben. As simple as that.
I will be surprised if Hiten does not come forward to rescue Santo.
Am wondering if we are being given a hint here; will Hiten and Khemi turn villains, againtst DM and Santo?

Rasika bang on 👏........santu has worked on her marriage for months and imagine the pain she would go through if she has to separate from DM because of all this ruckos.....compared to Hit-Mi's we were in proximity, so we fell in love forgetting the rules of the society.......

Where do they plan to get married, in Hawaii?Khemi looked more shocked than Nanaji himself........Khemi wants santu to understand her with out letting the cat out...good going khemi

He fully knows why that marriage happened. He knows how much Santo has done for his family and what she had to put up with. Yet, he treats Santo with total disdain. Would Khemi really want to marry a man like that?leave family Rasika....... santu has done so much for him.....if it wasnt for her he was on a fast track of destoying the whole village........what an ungrateful kid....and yes khemi and hiten are a pair made in heaven....one cares a hoot abt his father or anyone for that matter......and the khemi only preaches her younger sister on responsibilities and when its her turn she convinently calls santu Maalkin and acts like a Martyr
Hiten is no more brave than Kaddu. If he had an iota of self-respect, he would have gone to his father a long time ago and told him about his love for Khemi. He does not care about what his father thinks anyway. So what is keeping him? He wants to wait for Shambu to come to Mahiyavanshi house for the muhurat and then break the 'good news'?kaddu and hiten are same to same in being coward....just that Hiten is more lethal adn no respect for elders .....except for khemis nanaji, Khemi and dont forget his respect for Shambuji 😆
I hope you find someone nice'!!!!good one Raskia...truly spineless and here we used to think he was a wannbe DM 😆
Khemi lied to Motiben. As simple as that....finally u said it👏....was thinking abt the right choice of words before.
I will be surprised if Hiten does not come forward to rescue Santo.....me truly doubt that......mainly because I hoping DM will add everything and realise its all Hitens doing and santu is innocent
Am wondering if we are being given a hint here; will Hiten and Khemi turn villains, againtst DM and Santo?like we are not getting enough of Moti ben torturing everyone in the show...maybe motiben will turn +ve after chamku matter comes out and Hit-Mi can take over

The topic of this thread is about Santu's decision. Somewhere along the way it got derailed to judging Hiten and Khemi's behaviour instead of judging Santu's decision.

I am putting the track back to the original topic by putting in my 2 cents. I do not agree with the way Santu took the decision and justified it to Khemi. When she went to talk to Nanaji why did she not take Khemi along with her and have a joint family discussion? This way both of them could have heard her out. It was after all about Khemi's marraige.

After that Santu did not let Hiten finish whatever it was that he wanted to tell her. If she made the decision in her role as maalkin shouldn't the parties involved be given an opportunity to be heard? And shouldn't the maalik be made aware of what is going the situation? If Santu involved Nanaji as a parent then isn't it DM's right to know as Hiten's father too?

Khemi has already told Santu that she will not be able to forget Hiten and accept Shambhu. A just and fair decision should involve Shambhu too. Why did she not go talk and bring him to the haveli and have a talk with DM present? She is experiencing first hand what it is like to have a spouse whose heart belongs to someone else. Why does she think it would be OK for Shambhu to be in the same situation?

DM has been married twice - the first time to a woman he loved very much and whom he still loves after her death and the second time in a forced marraige to a young girl he is barely beginning to acknowledge in his life but not give her the rights of his wife. He has experienced both types of scenarios. He would have been very angry at first but DM is a just and fair man. He would definitely have heard everyone out before giving his decision.

Santu's unilateral decision was wrong on so many fronts. If Santu had gone about taking the decision in the right way matters would not have come to this stage. The necklace would still be locked in DM's safe.

Just because two people are similar and have strong characters and like each other and get on well, does not mean that they have to fall in love. I did say that both of them are similar as well as being dfferent in many ways! These traits are what friends share, but not all friends are in love with each other. I also do not believe that people have absolutely no control over their emotions, if that was the case, we would be living in a very chaotic world where everyone acted according to their impulses. There are certain things people do not do because they are not supposed to - I mean I get mad enough at people sometimes that I want to shake them and hit them but I don't because I live in a civilized world where people control their emotions and I know that there could be unwelcome consequences of doing something like that. I don't think Khemi has a strong will at all fair enough you don't think about Khemi being strong your opinion! 😊 - if she did she would not be behaving this way two days before her wedding. And did all Hiten need was a woman to stand up to him to fall in love, if thats the case then I am sure he will find many others to fall in love with. Their romance to me feels very superficial, lacking any depth and just because of their young age and the fact that they were thrown in close proximity to each other for such a long time. If that's how you feel, then I can't do anything about it as it's your point of view, but I don't see it like that!

Your opinion I guess, but you cant say BECAUSE IT JUST WAS! why? I wanna know why it's wrong? who said?
it's true what you said about friendship, but we're talking about Hiten & Khemi's love for each other, they didn't know they were going to fall in love, its like me saying to you that you got ill but you should have had control over it, when obviously you dont have any control over being sick/ill, same way, love, you can say if you like, is an illness affects everyone in their lifetime, sometimes unexpected! We dont force ourselves to fall for another human being, it just happens! The things about behaviour is that we refrain from doing things which are considered uncivillized but I dont see how that's related to love - it's just a totally different direction!
Anger and love are 2 separate things, there are things in life which we can control and things which we cant and thats the truth of life!
About all the women Hiten could fall in love with if they stood up to him, if you had read my post properly that wasn't the only reason I had given for Hiten Kemi to fall in, (plus it was my opinion and others might not thin that way) its also about understanding of the other these two share, they bonded through the things they had to go through, people dont fall in love for just one reason, they are many different reason to be in love with a person and that' how it is with Hiten Khemi!
