ARTICLE: Bandini is a HIT show!

Translation (since I have a LOT of free time right now)

Tongues had started wagging ever since Ekta's saas-bahu shows started garnering good TRPs.A lot of TV experts had agreed upon the point that Ekta can make only saas-bahu shows, and can do nothing beyond this staple diet. It seems that Ekta has once again shut up her critics. Her new show on NDTV Imagine, Bandini is making waves and has made it to the category of hit shows.

This when Ekta's other show on Imagine, Kitani Mohabbat Hai , remains a flop . Bandini is a story of a 18 year old girl who is living with her grandfather and is suddenly married off to Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi, who is a diamond merchant. The real story begins after that.Ekta's creative team has managed to make this show a hit .. but if she experiments too much with the show, it may end up like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ..

Its yet to be a hit na..Sukhi.I cant see it as a hit as of now.Yes it had fab start,but something is missing as of now.

Just as in other shows,too much torture for the female lead,and not an ounce of positivity as of now.

They need to show Motu get beaten,FOR A CHANGE.

She can take a hike with HER SON MAULIK.

It's not a HIT in the truest sense, ie the ratings and stuff but so far so good, it has not erred a LOT till now and there is ample room for path-correction as well because basically , although predictable in the sense that yes, DM-Santo are going to fall for each other ..

Their journery together is what is keeping people bound .. and I am sure people will absolutely RELISH it when they do fall for each other .. awww

Nice to see Bandini being appreciated. It deserves all the praise. Most shows on TV at the moment are not that good.

I expressed my frustration in another post on Ekta trying too many angles in Bandini, similar to her past serials where multiple marriages, love affairs against social norms etc. were common. May be a case of old habits dying hard! Am just hoping that may be this time she doesn't experiment too much.

Woohoo sukhi.. I donno what makes me happier, KMH,the show which NDTV imagine is bending backwards to promote, is a flop, or bandini is a hit, something which we all knew looooonggg ago...

Ekta has learnt her lesson the hard way .. she's just trying to grab eyeballs and then in true Bandini style, story will khao a HUUUUGEEEE palti !

Lol sukhi, same here.. KMH is as Kekta as one can get.. with all the ridiculous twists...

It's a mish-mash of ALLLLLLLL the movies you can everrrrrrrrrr think of!
