In shiv's absence even Mahi would be like a father figure to shiv's kids After father next is uncle a father figure so i wonder how Jagya is not like father figure to Anandi and shiv's kids ??Anandi's kids have not seen their father They have only seen how fathers are and how much they love their children through Jagya only . Nimboli and Jagya's bonding have just started and girl is very much fond of her vidhayak ji She plays with him, she loves him , she cares for him .

Shivam is with Jagya for years now and was even seen envying abhi's luck How lucky is abhi having nice dad
Regarding Shivam's saying he wants to be like his dad shiv Well every son wants to be like his dad Shivam knows Jagya is not his father nor Jagya has asked him to call me your father Shivam must have heard good about his dad from Anandi , Jagya and Dadisaa Therefore he has a good image of his father in his mind otherwise he has not seen shiv with his own eyes but since shivam said he wants to be like his dad shiv This does not prove Jagya is not a fatherly figure to him Jagya has given the love of a father to shivam and have not made shivam feel his loss of a father much , this truth is accepted by Anandi herself

True . Shivam thinks he is superior to all He used to put abhi down too
Leave his mother paying attention to a random girl he was jealous of Jagya making Nimboli burn the ravan statue and was calling it biased behavior towards him 😲

Shivam considers Jagya as uncle but he doesn't go to him for his needs like a son goes to his father for his needs for that he goes only to his mother.
He may be happy that he has someone like Singhs to call as family and looking upto someone as father figure is way different.
Same way N is happy to have people like Mangala Kamili Urmi now CC and Singhs. She is made to address Mangala as maa but she still thinks of her as Teesa and trusts her most mainly because she spent all her life with her.In place of Mangala if she had only Kamilijiji she would have trusted her and depended on her in the same way she trusts and depends on Mangala. But when it comes to mother she considers only the woman who has given birth to her as mother whether she loves her or not.

Both Shivam and Nandini are thankful for all the loving people they have in their life but they are not looking to fill up the place left vacant by their parents with anyone else.

Nimboli herself said people like Vidhayaksa and Ganga Kaki have become part of her life all thanks to CC.
It was CC who brought her and Mangala to Jaitser and she thinks all the protection and kindness which Singhs are showing her is because of CC that's what she told Kamili when she came over to BH along with Urmi.

She knows all the special treatment she is getting in that house is because of CC.

Shivam also knows that Singhs are relalation to him because of his mother. He knows that it is the home of his mother's grandmother.

So they both know that it is Anandi who is the link between them and Singhs.

Jagya has definitely played a significant role in Shivam's life. The child was brought up as 'one of the family' and not as an outsider.

While Jagya has given all the love, care and support to Shivam, he has taken care of the fact that he doesn't step into Anandi's arena as far as Shivam is concerned.

Not only Jagya, but Dsa, Ganga and kids have played a significant role in contributing to what Shivam is today. They have all lived as family, but at the same time JaGan has maintained that fine line between rights and duties towards someone else's child.

Anandi cannot be given sole credits for raising Shivam. She would have been given that credit if she was raising Shivam all alone in SN.

Similarly, Shivam also sees Jagya as a father figure or an uncle whom he can approach when he is need. Apart from that Shivam knows that his father is someone else, so it is obvious that he will not give away his father's place to his uncle. Just as nimboli seeks solace in Mangala, but she knows that she is not her mother, so she still yearns to be accepted by her real mother.

Shivam knows that he is living in her mother's grandmother's home and still doesn't know what he should call his mother's grandmother's grandson? A 12 years old child doesn't know that simple relationship?

Father figure is not only father himself - it's any person who is taking care of the child. It's same for mother also. A child who knows that his/her biological mother/father was someone else will not think of father/mother figure as his parent but still look up to him/her. J is father figure for Shivam and M is mother figure for Nimboli.

That's a blooper indeed.
Every child at the age of 12, knows that his mother's grandmother's grandson is his mama (maternal uncle)

Thanks for sharing. I didn't know that. I only knew that children of bro- sis duo i.e. children of mama-bua can marry each other, but didn't know girls can marry their mother's brothers too.

Anyways, these people are not south indians. They are Rajasthanis. In their culture marrying within family is not possible. If someone shares the same Grandmother as mine then that person is either my sibling, cousin or a partner to my sibling / cousin (bahu or damad), living in the same family as mine.

So either Jagya is dsa's grandson or ganga is Dsa's grand daughter. In that context either JaGan are mama - mami to Shivam or Masa masi to Shivam. Not Kaka-kaki.

kaka is specific name given to father's younger brother, and tausa / tauji for father's elder brother.

But Shivam already knows that Jagya and his father Shiv are not brothers. So why has he never questioned their relationship?

Mannu believed that Anandi was Ganga's sister and so he called her masi. And he presumed that his mother's widowed sister is living with them and by that context Shivam is his cousin.
