She has broken ALL the promises that she made to Shiv. Shiv was and is the LAST thing on her mind.

I don't agree she failed as a mother. We are making a big issue of house (shiv s house)What if she was so busy with projects, she couldn't keep a checks on Shivam. Here Shivam is getting the right attention, the family love and good values.

It's not about the house but about a home. Its about a sense of belonging, a family heritage in every sense ,not only the material. Anandi's children are Shekars and have no need to live in any other place but exactly there where they belong.


Engaging in social work can not be ahead of the welfare of children. What does that mean,'' I need someone to watch my children while I am fulfilling my dream''. Then he who is not able to balance his work, that too social work and family should decide which are his priorities.

Exactly. And that's the worst part. I wonder why she never told to Daddu, Menu, Ira what was Shiv's last wish- to stay together. When they told her that she should return to BH why she did not tell them that's not something Shiv would want to.

Maybe she never loved Shiv enough to respect his dying wish. Maybe because it was convinient for her to shift to Jaitser. If you truly love someone, you will go out of your way to honour the promise you made to that person...I guess Anandi's love wasn't true after all...It was one sided from Shiv...

She should have died along with her husband. Infact she should have jumped into the funeral pyre and killed herself. Then her love for her husband would have been evident for everyone.

Who asked anyone to commit sati? Asking anandi to stay in Udaipur is not akin to asking her to commit sati. Asking anandi not to overstay in BH is not akin to asking her to commit sati.

CVs should have shown some sense instead of making anandi sit at BH forever to humour some old people who themselves lacked common sense.

Ganga also needs some space instead of dealing with Gauri and anandi continuously. Especially someone with fianacial resources and capabilities who can very well live on their own. She might have said its ok but then what else she could have done. Become a selfish and heartless woman in the eyes of the family?

But keep saying that Anandi doesn't even remember Shiv she never loved she doesn't care for Shiv etc what was she supposed to do prove that she loves Shiv? Yes we don't see her remembering Shiv we have not been shown whether she tells her kids about their father.Just because we don't get to see all that is it right to talk that she doesn't care for her husband???

Anandi failed to keep Shiv's promise...Period. Coming up with twisted explanations on how a family is still together despite being literally scattered across different countries won't change facts...Anandi not only failed her kids, She failed Shiv as well. If honouring someone's dying wish is being compared to an evil practice like Sati...i have nothing to say...Of course Shiv asked Anandi to die along with him...A pure soul like Shiv deserved a better wife and a better mother to his kids...
