They were never condescending towards him, they loved him like any biological child. So while Shiv can be curious about his real parents and identity, he doesn't need to feel so apathetic towards Shekhars.

He doesn't even know the entire truth of the matter, whether all Shekhars know he was adopted or not, did all of them lie to him etc.

He only saw the torned page. He has not yet had any solid proof of his being adopted either. Then why so shattered so soon?

I thought his behaviour today was over-reaction especially considering that he had not had solid proof till now of his being adopted.

BTW he should be wondering more about "kaisa parivaar" for those real parents who left him or gave him away easily than those who took him.

CVs mishandled it again otherwise it was a sensitive issue which could have unfolded very well.

i don't think he overreacted...he thinks his family lied to him for so long...he has always been told that he is mature and his family never hides anything from him and now suddenly such a big truth has come out so obviously he would feel bad...any person in his place would feel like that at first...in fact his anger shows how much he loves his family...you get angry only on your loved ones...if he would nt have cared about them he wouldn't have given any damm to what they said to him and what they did not...it shows that their words and truth and lie matter in his life...this truth does change his identity to certain extent

Otherwise there's no doubt that learning such a big truth would make anyone feel unsettled.

Shiv didn't investigate further to ascertain what the truth was. He didn't think Anandi could be mistaken or perhaps didn't verify the truth properly. He just saw the torned page and was shattered? Unconvincing.

And I agree that if he himself felt so bad then he should not adopt a child. Is it tougher to handle this "adopted" truth in one's teens or is it tougher to handle it at 30? At any age it is a hard truth to come to terms with.

I also agree it's going to hurt Ira the most. Daughter is mentally unstable. Son who she prided over is not her own. She'll go nuts. She already hates being lied to or not being made part of family decisions. She won't tolerate that she was living a lie for so many years.

I suspect Sanchi will first not accept this and blame Anandi for barking. But once the truth is ascertained she will grab this opportunity to put down Shiv and Anandi, call them paraya and trash her parents for sidelining her and ruining her life due to these "strangers" (she is not past what happened with her recently and she'll blow up further when she learns they've been consulting a psychiatrist and giving her meds without telling her).

Only Mahi will be supportive and won't mind the truth.

I don't say Shiv should not believe Anandi. Shiv may believe her but why reach such conclusions without himself seeing anything? Why not make room for doubt? That maybe what Anandi heard was not about him or okay she may have seen or heard anything but he needed/wanted to confirm things himself.

He could have decided to examine things for himself first instead of breaking down seeing a torned page.

The trigger for Shiv's reaction was flimsy IMO.

Thank u guys😊actually i like sid but i cannot able to connect shiv after such a pathetic replacement,shiv was over for me after prats exit.cvs started to force new anandi to the viewers by making both male leads dumb infront of her😡cvs please give some tracks to both the male leads to prove their excellent talent without Anandi mata's help.please dont make them diumb again and again,in Jagya track no Jagya, now in shiv track iam sure they will show anandi more than shiv🤢
