How can he suddenly not care the relations he has with Shekhers?? How can he suddenly feel not going home because he is adopted and not born there...Does he not realize that today whatever he is that is due to Shekhers...Shekhers gave him an identity
I am all for finding the true identity but please not at the cost of renouncing the current identity...Shiv is again behaving like he did during the Saachi saga...WITHOUT THINKING

If u urself is not an adopted kid or have not adopted or closely watched an adopted kid's reaction when he is told that you are not a biological child, you will not understand.

And do not ask me how do I know, I will not answer you.
But this is a very natural reaction, even for a 30 year old man.

He is angry at being cheated. He feels his family knows all but still kept it from him. He is devastated emotionally at what his true identity is. So, obvioulsy he is not thinking. This is a natural first reaction from anyone.

This is his first reaction after knowing the biggest truth of his life which he would not have ever imagined. What else would be the reaction of a person after knowing that the family with whom he has been living for 30 yrs of his life is not really his own family... His parents are not actually his own parents. His real identity is something else.. He will definitely realize the importance of the love & care & upbringing of Shekhars towards him, but he will need some time for that.

He feels betrayed ... he thought he had an authentic connection (emotional connection) with the shekhars which was based on trust. and now it turns out that it was a lie. He feels lied to.
It is an emotional thing.

It does not mean that he discounts shekhars' love and upbringing, but one part of authentic relationships is truth. ... and he feels he was not given the authentic truth.

I agree...now that the truth is out...it is a normal reaction of uncertainty. ..betrayal because he knows someone close to him is trying to keep the truth from him...plus a sense of loss of belonging.
He will see sense and I doubt if he will stop loving the Shekhars (Anandi will be only too pleased to give more moral advice to him) once he gets over the initial shock. Needless to say he will need to find out his real parents...that is a given.

Honestly why this story I dont know!!! Cvs love complicating issues for drama.

I can understand his being devastated but I don't get his apathy towards Shekhars now. Kaunsa parivaar, kya bada beta etc.

They were never condescending towards him, they loved him like any biological child. So while Shiv can be curious about his real parents and identity, he doesn't need to feel so apathetic towards Shekhars.

He doesn't even know the entire truth of the matter, whether all Shekhars know he was adopted or not, did all of them lie to him etc.

He only saw the torned page. He has not yet had any solid proof of his being adopted either. Then why so shattered so soon?

I thought his behaviour today was over-reaction especially considering that he had not had solid proof till now of his being adopted.

BTW he should be wondering more about "kaisa parivaar" for those real parents who left him or gave him away easily than those who took him.

CVs mishandled it again otherwise it was a sensitive issue which could have unfolded very well.

@ bold, i agree completely... he would have felt his real parents are the reason behind his sorrow, not the shakers.. no need to feel so much apathetic twrds shakers

anyone would be hurt that his parents lied to him till now about his identity. Imagine one day you find the records in the hospital room that ur mother gave birth to a stil born child not you. Its a natural reaction and someone is trying to hide it by removing the page. The torn page is enough to say that somehow is hiding the secret and not letting him know the fact. Thats why anandi was telling him to be strong and think that not matter what he is the elder son of shekhars. He will come into terms soon. Why will he think only few shekhars know or not. Atleast someone from shekhars know he is adopted otherwise how will they get a healthy baby for a still born female child. 😕

@Tm
I totally disagree with u 😲
His reaction is absolutely normal
The reaction would have been extravagant if it was some other character of Bv in place of shiv 😆
