Part 26

Shiv & Anandi both are in meeting with some delegations from Jaipur. They were discussing some serious issues. Finally meeting got over. Anandi & shiv remain in his cabin. Both looked pretty tense. Anandi is not agreeing some points that made by Shiv & delegations. Shiv is trying hard to convince her. They ended up with argument turns into fight. Anandi left his office furiously.

She entered in haveli. Bhairon saw her. He asked her wellbeing. She said nothing and goes toward her room. She bangs her thaila (bag) on floor. She is still mad what happen in Collector office.

Shiv meri baat samjh kyun nahi rahe hain. Gopalpura ke logon ka loan pehale manjoor hona chaiyeh. Aur Sajjanpur mein naib tehsildar ( sub divisional officer) ka office hona chaiyeh.

While in circuit house shiv is equally furious. Anandi kyun nahi samjh rahe hain ki yeh administrative kaam aur order sirf mera kaam hain. Usse ke mutabit main district ko nahi chala sakta. Yeh sare decision main loonga.

Anandi picks her cell & dialed his number. Shiv saw her number & picked her call.

Anandi pehele meri baat suno.

Jee main sunn rahe hunn kaheyeh.

Dekho yeh sari administrative jemedari lena mera kaam hain. Agar jarurat padi toh tumhari salah main lete hee hunn.

Haan main kab mana kar rahe hunn. Lekin agar aap galat decision lee rahe hain.

Nahi mera decision thik hain. Naib tehsildar ka office Sanganer mein hee hoga. Aur yeh agriculture loan hain who Shahpura ke logon pehle demand kiya tha.

Lekin Gopalpura ke logon ko abhi uss loan ki jayada jarurat hain. Aur yeh office Sanganer mein hoga toh yahan ke goanko bahut dur jana padega.

Lekin Anandi yahan ke sare goan ko Jeaitsar nazdik padata hain. Wahan ke logon ke suvidha ke liye wahi thik hain

Lekin dheere dheere wahan office ban jayenge. Abhi filhal…yahan ke logon ko

Anandi tum sirf Jeaitsar aur ass pass ke goan ke development ke baarein sooch rahe hoo. Main pure district ke bare mein sooch raha hun.

Lekin main issa thodi keh rahe hunn wahan much mat kejeyeh. Lekin yahan pehel kejeyeh. Wahan bhi toh offce hain abhi. Yahan kuch bhi nahi.

Anandi main Collector hunn. IAS ki padhaye maine ki hain. Admistration ki samjh mujhe tumse jayada hain. Tumhara experience sirf Jeaitsar tak simit hain. Waise bhi yeh soochna tumhara kaam nahi hain. Tum aapne area ke baarein mein soocho jayada behtar hoga. Mere kaam mein dakhalandazi karne ki koi jarurat nahi hain. Shiv said loudly.

Anandi was taken aback by his word. She hangs phone in anger. Shiv was equally mad.

Two days both did not talked to each other. Both are disturbed but don't come forward to call each other. Their ego is bigger. Bhairon sensed some tension. He meets Shiv in his office for some work purpose. Shiv looked visibly disturbed. Anandi is equally disturbed. Bhairon finally asked Anandi about it. She tries to avoid topic saying both are busy in some pending work.

Another two days gone. Anandi gets ready as she is going to Govindgarh for her schools extension. She reached there. She meets with Govindgarh sarpanch & inspects school. She wants to start night school for there too. They discusses about asking government for additional land. She said she will apply to Govt. She left Govindgarh in eveving.

Kafi der ho gaye Dadisa chinta kar rahe hongi. Yeh accha hua Bapu sa ne unnhe manaya warna woh itani dur aane hee nahi deti. Chalyeh kaka she said to her driver.

They are on the way to Jeaitsar. Suddenly jeep broke down. Driver tried to start but in vain. They were stand in middle of road. Anandi gets restless as it's getting late & dark too. They waited for some vehicle for help. They saw one SUV is coming on their way. It's Shiv. He was surprised to see Anandi. Anandi is equally surprised but relieved too. Shiv asked driver problem. He opened bonate and inspects.

He looked at her & said mujhe nahi lagata yeh jaldi thik hoga. Mere saath chalo tum. Main aap logon chodta hunn. Driver asked Shiv drop him to nearby village he will bring some mechanic. Anandi had no choice. She sat on SUV besides Shiv. She is avoiding looking at him. Driver & some other guy who is with shiv seated back. Shiv dropped driver and other guy to nearby village. Now in SUV it's only Shiv & Anandi.

Shiv tries to look at her but she was busy looking at outside. Yeh abhi tak mujhese naaraz hain. Dekh bhi nahi rahe meri taraf. Kaise baat suru karu he thinks.

Anandi is equally thinking about him. Accha hua yeh mil agye warna badi pareshani hoti. Lekin mujhese baat kyun nahi kar rahe hain. Abhi tak gusse mein hain.

Shiv stopped SUV. Anandi was surprised. Kya hua she asked?

Kuch nai mujhe chai peeni hain he said coldly.

He orders for Tea in small stall in roadside. He gets two glasses & moved to SUV. He offered tea to her. Anandi nodeed no.

Lee bhi loo….mera gussa chai pe kyun uthar rahe hoo he said.

Jee….kisene kaha main gusse mein hunn. Deejeyh.

Shiv smiled. After 10 mins they started their journey again. Now it's completely drak. Suddenly clouds gather & it start raining heavily. Rain puring heavily on their SUV. Shiv couldn't see road. He is driving slowly & carefully. Anandi was scared.

Shiv kuch bhi nahi dekhaye dee raha hain.

Haan….tum ghabrao mat. Main aaram se gadi chala raha hunn. Just relax.

Hu kahan ruk sakte hain kya she asked?

Kahan rukenge Anandi. Its' not safe here.

After some time rain slowly stops. Now rain has been stopped not completely but they can see road. Suddenly Shiv stopped SUV. Anandi was shocked
