I did this for Shaista's thread... but, am re-posting separately as well:

Jagdeesh has left Mumbai and Gauri after discovering how manipulative she is and learning of her affair now marriage with Dr. 33 Khanna. He's now assisting Lal Singh and Dr. Abhishek at the hospital in Jaitsar. But, he's not happy as they constantly belittle him and are considered senior to him. Still he is trying to make amends with them and his family. Sometimes he goes to Anandi and Shiv's place to vent to Anandi. She being the only soul, who still gives him the time of day. Shiv's irritation with their renewed childhood friendship was an unexpected bonus.
Today Jugdeesh was particularly frustrated because Lal Singh had yelled at him for ordering an expensive branded medicine for a patient when a generic version was available. It was only a few hundred rupees more but, Lal Singh had created drama like he had gambled thousands. Maybe Anandi could make Lal Singh back of a bit. She was afterall still the hospital's chief administrator. With that hope Jugdeesh walked over to Shiv and Anandi's house near Circuit House.
It was still early morning and it took a few minutes for Anandi to open the door. She had flour on her cheeks. Before he could tell her about it, Shiv called from their bedroom.
"Anandi mera watch khidhar hai? Dresser par nahi hai" Anandi turned visibly red before Jugdeesh's eyes.
"Woh...woh ... aap.. aap kal raat wohi bathtub ke pass khule te...shayad wahi hai" She slowly stammered out.
"Haan wohi chhoda - milgaya... shukkar karo mein apne ghadi ko uttara tumhein bathtub mein deknhe ka baad bhi!" Shiv shouted back unaware of their guest while Anandi turned redder with embarrassment.
"Shiv - Jugdeesh aa aaya hai!" Anandi stammered back to stop Shiv from getting more graphic. These days he was far too naughty... always whispering things that made her shiver and blush. She secretly loved it, but, not now especially not infront of Jugdeesh!
Oh what was he doing here so early in the morning anyway? Though she shouldn't, she couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He had nobody and mistook her politeness to be friendship. Shiv kept telling her to tell Jugdeesh to get lost, but Anandi didn't have the heart to be that cruel. He was harmless really... besides it was fun to see Shiv get extra possessive around Jugdeesh.
Speaking of time, she had to finish making breakfast fast this morning. They were planning to drive to Udaypur to visit Shiv's family later that day and time was of the essence. With that thought, she signaled Jugdeesh to follow as she headed back to the kitchen.
In the kitchen, she quickly tried to pull the now nearly burnt roti from the tawa that she had forgotten while rushing to open the door. The tawa was, however, too hot and in her hurry Anandi burnt a index finger and thumb. She let out a gasp of pain just as Shiv entered the kitchen. He immediately rushed to her side grabbed her hand and placed it under the cold tap.
"Tum sabki khayal rakhti ho sevai khud ki!" He then proceeded to scold her uncaring of their audience. Seeing her smiling in response, he got madder and frustratedly asked.
"Ab haas kyun rahi ho?"
"Mein sabki khayal rakhti hu aur aap meri!" She responded with an even bigger smile, which he found simply irresistible. Totally oblivious to their audience he kissed her hand and whispered
"Hamesha"
Jugdeesh who had come over hopping to ruin Shiv's morning suddenly felt rather queasy.
