May I ask a question? I'm from Europe and do not know all your customs.

Is it unusual that Jagat had to accept madam Gauri's parents to live with them in a tiny flat in Mumbay (end of 2011, begining of 2012)?

From time to time, he was cross with them and he moaned.
All four of them were funny, sitting in a car while looking for a new flat (when Shivani had a go at Gauri, and then Bade Papa disowned G. and in the end Kunda dada had to kick them out of her house).
Jagat blamed G's parents, but they stayed put! 😆

Was that some sort of punishment for J, to give viewers some satisfaction?
She always screams and shouts when talking to his people, but as soon J want to say something about her people, she stops him.

Yes, you're right! Girl's parents are also to blame. Even they give more importance to damaad!
The sad thing is it cuts across all religions and continents. Everywhere the girl leaves home after marriage to join husband's family! And then the test begins. 🤢😡

ur probably right. why blame only saas and nand when the entire system is fu**** up. but by and large it is the feale members of the man's household wo are responsible for this system. aurat hi aurat ki badi dushman hai.
why do girls parents teach her househodl work and tell her to be submissive ... becuase that is what her prospective saas like to see in her.
believe me girls parents dont have much choice.

it is intensifying the stereotypes that good parents ( girls side) stay out of her life ( as anandi's). while bad parents ( girls side) ... visit them , stay with them and interfere.
all these stereotypes are made to effectivly make the girl helpless.

Yes, it is unusual for gil's parents to stay in girl's home. And yes, it did give us some satisfaction. 😛
As for her screaming at her parents - well, Jagat is spineless and easy to manipulate. With Gauri's talent for lying and making up untrue events, he did not stand much chance at defending his family and giving it back to Gauri.

also one more thing ... if gauri screams at singhs thats becuase they are exceptionally rude with her .
while gauri's parents treat jaggi very nicely as compared to gauri's treatment from the singhs. leave aside the reasons. they call him not just jamai sa but kunwar sa! meaning prince!
also u can see gauri's mother often serving jaggi.
and which mother in the world dsnt want her daughter to be happy.
she often enquires abt hr well being that makes her a monster?

Well of course Ma should wish happiness for her children.
It's just that Gauri's Ma constantly talks against Anandi. She does not know A properly, but is always negative. Once, I just could not believe my ears when Ma said that A should kill herself. SO much hatred!
But, bade papa told them all the truth and left them in a rage, as "they still did not repent for what they have done to Anandi"

Oh, sure both sets of parents should come VISITING, but I had impression that they stayed for TOO LONG, as if living with JG! Can't remember why they came in the first place, but Kunda dada asked them to stay a bit longer. They even moved in to a new flat with JG, after Dada's kick!

Yes, I think they over-stayed their welcome.
Do you remember the cunning way Gauri made them leave? That day I thought this girl is not tru to her parents as well! I lost all hope for her that day. 😕
