Comedian Samay Raina has stirred conversation after appearing in a quirky advertisement with RJ Mahvash, who has recently been linked to cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. The ad, shared online, is being read by fans as a series of indirect digs at Chahal’s ex-wife Dhanashree Verma.
While Dhanashree was not named, the dialogue and references in the clip were enough for viewers to connect the dots. At one point, Mahvash says her favourite letter is “M”. Samay replies, “Mera hai U, Z (Yuzvi),” a clear nod towards Yuzvendra. When Mahvash asks about his life, he quips, “Beech mein bas Rise and Fall ho gaya tha mera, but ab sab sahi hai. Bas pehle 2 mahine mein it was an issue.” This seemed to echo Dhanashree’s statement on the reality show Rise and Fall, where she alleged Chahal cheated within the first two months of their marriage.

Samay further asks, “What’s half of 8 crore?” Mahvash replies, “4 crore,” leaving her surprised at his no-filter humour. Viewers linked this to the reported alimony of Rs 4.75 crore. The comedian also mentions, “Podcast karte hain,” appearing to take another swipe at Dhanashree’s new podcast. Towards the end, he reveals a T-shirt that reads, “Be your own sugar daddy,” a reference to one Chahal himself wore after his divorce.
Samay shared the ad with the caption, “Podcast karne mai fatt gayi @rj.mahvash ?!” He later posted a screenshot of a video call with Chahal, where the cricketer was seen laughing. In response, Samay wrote, “Love you my sugar daddy.”
Chahal’s reaction kept the humour rolling. He commented on Samay’s post, warning, “Be ready for one more case @maisamayhoon #4cr,” with laughing emojis. His reply suggested he was aware of the layered jokes and joined in the banter.

The ad, while light in tone, has sparked online chatter about how far comedians can go with personal references. For now, it has added another viral moment to the ongoing narrative surrounding Chahal, Dhanashree, and Mahvash.
