but that is precisely my point surabhi. woh apni kisi family member ka insult nahi chaahti... lekin baaki har kisi ke family members ko jail ghaseet ke ley jaayegi.

what does it matter -- family ne saath diya ki nahi diya? If you go by stand law is law, then all criminals should be prosecuted by anandi.

is there any meaning in pure selectivity -- this criminal is good to me so I wont prosecute him?

and the other one is bad to me so therefore i will prosecute him?

yeh aapko thoda sa biased tareeka nahi lagta hai?

anandi apni family ki insult isliye nahi chahti kyonki woh uski family hai bulki woh isliye nahi chahti kyonki uski family ne usko tough time mein support kiya hai aur koi buri sasuraal hoti to beta chod ke jaane pur anandi ko ghar ke bahar nikaal deti ya phir anandi se kolhu ke bail ki tarah kaam karwaati aur khud maje se rehte.

Surabhi, I am repeatedly saying this --the fact that her in-laws have been good for her does not deflect from jagya's crime. It does not make Jagya's crime allright.

There is a law against what he has done.

If she is such a hard and heavy legal protagonist then she must take action even if the singhs are good to her.

it does not mean that she should take action only if the singhs tell her to leave badi haveli.

The singhs goodness and jagya's crime are two separate issues.

chitrashi, I will be happy to reply to you the day you revise the content of your post and tone down the personal attacks and insults. The same points can be made in a courteous and polite manner and with specific reference to the issues at hand rather than unnecessary personal comments.

also, when you enter a thread 20 pages into the fray, it would be a good idea to read through all the posts before you comment to understand the broader direction and arguments of the thread along the way.

wohi toh main keh rahi hoon surabhi -- anandi ko apni majboori ho sakti hai -- lekin jyoti ke maa baapu ko koi majboori nahin ho sakti?

agar woh log crime kar rahe hain, toh uski bhi koi wajah hogi.

aur anandi ko unke wajah se koi matlab nahi hai toh fir usey apni majboori se bhi koi matlab nahi rehna chaahiye.

My POV

anandi has spent her childhood with jagya..
as friends.. more than anything else.

she has fallen in love with the beend.. illegal marriage, yes.

she has also waited for the beend when he is in another state. for five years or more.

the girl still hasnt taken any strict actions against the beend... respect or love? i hope its neither

but if i put myself in the girl;s shoes. anandi is not my fav character btw. bt if i do that.
its hard.. v hard to drag the person to court with whom i spent those many years
but i do hope she ends up suing the couple.
am still waiting for that

but any of this doesnt make the girl a hypocrite.
u know how a girl is when in love.

she is falling out of love but as in her dreams, her sub conscious is still going back there.
i feel it is human.
