@topic when a police officer helps a woman being beaten up, they dont take the victim to their homes. so i think some of the sentences in the main post are extremely off.

there are shelter homes, am not sure about villages but anandi's responsible. am sure if the girl has no where to go she wud take care of that .. but if she stops ten child marriages, is she supposed to start keeping them at the haveli.?

she has right to knock any home...to arrest anybody but when it comes to her own home she is mute...when reporter asked her "kya aapke pati ne aisa aapke saath kuch kiya h"...she was mute...ghar ki baat h bahar thodo phuchani hai
