Anoop Soni to host Crime show

After garnering loads of success as a producer in the television world, Sunjoy Wadhwa has stepped into theatre world. His first theatre play titled 'Ek Tu aur Ek Mein' has been directed by Suneel Sinha and Narendra Gupta has written the script. Suneel and Narendra have also acted in the play.



Our source informs, "Sunjoy Wadhwa is coming up with his first Hindi theater play 'Ek Tu Aur Ek Mein'. The show is about a pair of dialogues in a lock-up between Pramod Joshi (Suneel Sinha) are playing the roles of an unsuccessful criminal and lawyer respectively."



Does Sunjoy Wadwa renowned for serials like 'Balika Vadhu', 'Saat Phere' and telefilms 'Unn Hazaroon Ke Naam' and 'Phir Se' yet again have some message to convey through this play? "It's a New Year gift to all the theater audience, assuring a full joy of ride to them. I always wanted to be associated with theatre because I feel that the real talent lies there. Artists doing theatre put their heart and soul which comes across brilliantly in their performance. I am sure there is always a great audience, looking forward to watching new plays. The concept of the play is to bring back the smile with a humour which is different than usual," conveys Sunjoy.

"I am a trained dancer and have learnt Bharatnatyam for nine, Jazz and Salsa for three years and Kathak for four years. To carry on my dancing passion I participated in 'Boogie Woogie' and won it thrice but as soon as I won the third and last time, Ravi Behl barred me from participating again," says Neha.

We wonder what made Ravi do so. "Actually after winning for the third time Ravi did not let me participate for he knew I would emerge as a winner yet again. Neverthless, he made me judge for one of the episodes and I was there as a three time champion dancer" shares Neha.

So, Neha has got honor of being a judge at the oldest and prestigious dance show. Well, acting and dancing have surely made her come a long way.

'True friendship is God's gift' - Veebha Anand

This week, Veebha Anand takes the Tellybuzz Quick Grills…

National Bingo Nights on Colors will be featuring an episode with Anandi alias Avika Gor and Jagdish alias Avinash Mukherjee. The beend-beendi couple from Balika Vadhu, on Colors, shot for the episode on Wednesday at Powai. On-lookers at the set revealed that Shiamak Davar's junior dance troupe will also be performing in the same episode. A source from the set also revealed that Avika Gor, replete with bandhani dupatta, ghagra-choli and jewellery, stole the show from, Avinash Mukherjee. She did all the talking on the show while the equally talkative Avinash took a backseat. Abhishek Bachchan, who had shot with the kids close to the release of his film Drona (2008), remembered the day they shot the special appearance episode and giggled about it with the kids. On-lookers feel that Bachchan Jr enjoys spending time with kids even from the audience, so much that everyone cheered for him throughout the shoot. How sweet!

Avika Gor bonds with Avinash

Avika Gor aka Anandi and Avinash Mukherjee aka Jagdish from Balika Vadhu will soon be featuring on National Bingo Nights (NBN) with Abhishek Bachchan.

The kids shot for the episode last Wednesday at Powai. This episode will be a double dhamaka for the audience, as Shiamak Davar's junior dance troupe will also be performing in the same episode.

On-lookers at the set said that Avika Gor, replete with bandhani dupatta, ghagra-choli and jewellery, stole the show from, Avinash Mukherjee. As usual, this cute on-screen wifey did all the talking on the show, while the equally talkative on screen beend took a backseat. But onlookers says the bonded big time. Infact the duo were so friendly with each other that they looked more like friends as opposed to what their characters have to go through on-screen.

In fact, Abhishek loves kids and it's said that he totally enjoyed shooting for this particular episode with kids on the show. Well, it wasn't the first time Bachchan Jr met the on screen couple. If you remember, Abhishek had shot a special episode with the kids on Colors for Balika Vadhu just before his film Drona released in 2008.

On-lookers even revealed that Abhishek looked quite happy with the kids and truly enjoyed shooting for this episode. When we say kids, we don't just mean Avika and Avinash but also the kids from the audience, who cheered for him throughout the shoot. Hmmm..this is enough for us to understand that Abhishek is quite fond of kids. May be it's time for Abhi-Ash to start planning for a kid now.

We guess the bonding of Avika and Avinash must have done the trick on Junior B who should planning his family soon.

'Balika Vadhu' has bagged the Best Drama Series (Fiction) award at Chevrolet Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards which was unfolded on Jan 8, 2010 at Chitrakoot Grounds, Andheri, Mumbai.
