Part 8

Natasha gets her baby aborted. Priya and Ayesha know about it but do not reveal it to anyone. Ayesha uses this secret to blackmail Natasha into making her the showstopper of her comeback show. Natasha, is frustrated and tries to revenge Ayesha by malfunctioning with her dress. Ayesha in a fit of anger after knowing from Sid, that it was Natasha who did this on purpose slaps her on stage in front of everyone.

After the slap, backstage:

Ayesha: How could you do this to me?

Natasha: I was irritated, I have very right to do this. How dare you slap in front of everyone.

Priya: Shut up both of you

Ayesha: Di, aap toh isey hi support karengi aap ki nanad jo hai.

Natasha: Yeh mujhe Kyun support karengi? Tumhe karengi, behen jo Hai tumhari.

Priya: Bas bahut ho Gaya.

Ram: Choti, aise Kyun baat kar rahi ho tum? You know, Priya's intention.

Natasha: Bhai, you have changed so much, can't you see your sister has been insulted.in front of so many people and media?

Ram: Choti, lekin.

Niharika: Priya, apni limit mein raho. Tum Kapoor khandaan ki bahu ho. Natasha se aise kaise baat kar rahi ho tum?

Ram: Maa, aap yeh kaise, baatein kar rahe Hai aap, Priya se?

Ayesha leaves angrily from there. Natasha also leaves with kartik running behind her. Niharika is happy that Sid and Natasha have delivered when it mattered the most.

Ram: Priya, Ayesha ko aise react nahi kar na chahiye tha Sab ke saamne.

Priya: Are you mad? A girl's self esteem was put on display and you feel she shouldn't have reacted the way she reacted? Are you crazy?

Ram: I understand that shouldn't have happened but Natasha is a kid.

Priya: If Natasha is a kid to you, so is Ayesha to me. I can't believe you are saying this. Is this how you respect woman in your house?

Ram: Now this, you are crossing a line Priya.

Priya: I'm crossing a line? I never chose sides, in my life, but for the first time, I am choosing between my family and your family. I am going to my home. Sharma house.

Priya walks away. Ram is stunned and is shocked that Priya left. Vikram-Neha and Niharika, who have witnessed this whole thing are surprised too. While, Niharika was more happy than surprised. She leaves to celebrate.

Vikram: Ram, what you spoke was so wrong on so many levels.

Ram: What did I do?

Neha: Shut up fatty. Priya always accepted your family as her family.

Ram: You heard everything. I tried explaining to choti, she says, I am taking Priya's side, if I talk from choti's side, Priya is angry that I don't respect women at all. What nonsense is this?

Vikram: Ram, you didn't have to take any sides. You just needed to keep calm and not react.

Ram: You don't want me to react?

Vikram: Yes. They were two people already reacting, Ayesha and Natasha. You didn't have to react, you had to solve the problem, not add to the problem. Ek minute, Natasha ne ek baat Kya boldiya, nahi sochega, Sahi Kya Hai, galat Kya Hai? Bas you had to react na?

Ram: You are right. I am so stupid. Priya ko kitna bura laga hoga na.

Ram immediately rushes to Sharma house. Ram knocks on the door.

Shipra: Ram, ayiye. Andar aayiye na.

Ram: I am sorry. I am so sorry Ayesha ke saath.

Sudhir: Nahi Ram, you don't have to be sorry. Galti tumhari nahi Hai.

Ram: Choti ke side se, bhi mujhe maaf Kat deejiye.

Shipra: Nahi Ram, aap sharminda kar rahe Hai. Priya!

Priya walks out without realizing Ram was there. But Ram asks for Ayesha and goes to her first before speaking to Priya.

Ram: Ayesha?

Ayesha: (sobbing) Haan jeeju?

Ram: I am sorry Ayesha

Ayesha: Why are you sorry?

Ram: Hear me out. I am sorry, for Natasha's behavior and for what happened with you. I respect women, and it shouldn't have happened. I am sorry.

Ayesha: I won't say its ok, but jeeju aap sorry mat boliye.

Ram: I will help you out in whatever capacity, I can. Not because this happened but, because you are my responsibility as well and I cannot see your sister hurt like this. I am sorry again. We will talk when you want to get started. Sorry again Ayesha.

Ram walks out of Ayesha's room, in the hall, Sudhir, shipra and Priya are standing.

Ram: Priya, I am sorry for whatever I spoke.

Sudhir indicates to shipra to leave them alone, both of them empty the hall for Ram and Priya to talk.

Ram: I am sorry Priya

Priya: I don't know what to say.

Ram: I shouldn't ha e doubted your intention. I am sorry. I don't know what happens to me, when choti is the person of discussion. I am sorry.

Priya: It's ok.

Ram: Please ghar chalo na.

Priya: Nahi, I need to be here to resolve whatever went wrong. I don't believe Natasha is a bad person, something must have happened for her to react that way and I am shocked to know Sid told Ayesha, that Natasha has intentionally done that to hurt her.

Ram: What? Sid? That guy I tell you. We need to be wary of him. Priya, can you help me?

Priya: Of course.

Ram: If you don't mind, I will arrange for Ayesha's modelling contract, outside India. Can you talk to your parents and Ayesha to accept this?

Priya: But how will that solve anything?

Ram: I'm buying time to deal with Sid.

Priya: Ok. I will help you.

Ram, hugs Priya, apologizes profusely and leaves for KM.

Priya calls Kartik, and leaves to meet Natasha at her studio.

Natasha: Priya, please I don't want any lecture.

Priya: Kartik, leave me and Natasha alone.

Kartik leaves.

Priya: I know that you have acted this way because of some compulsion and you, are not the person you portray to be. What is the problem? I have not shared anything about your abortion with anybody and I will never open my mouth about it, but you need to trust me a bit to help you.

Natasha: Ayesha knows about the abortion and she blackmailed me to make her the showstopper of my show. I couldn't take it Priya. I am sorry.

Priya: Why didn't you share it with me Natasha? I would have helped you out. Why go through this whole process, where you have been made the villain? Did you know Sid, told Ayesha, you did it on purpose?

Natasha: I am sorry Priya. But I couldn't trust anyone. I am sorry, but your mother, my mother in law, blames me for everything and I am unable to adjust with her taunts. When I try to share it with Kartik, he brushes it aside saying I am thinking too much, but it is becoming increasingly difficult with you mother and Ayesha with blackmailing.

Priya, goes silent for a bit and understands that her mother can sometimes go a little too far to show her dissent. She needs to tackle everything delicately. She cannot reveal about the abortion, but handle Ayesha and Natasha. More importantly her mother. She has to see to it that all of this should not effect the newly found love between her and Ram.

Priya: I assure you, I will handle everything, even my mother, but please keep calm for a while. I will see to it that Kartik moves out of the house with you and you can go back when you have the confidence that you can live in that house peacefully. But you need to promise to help me in tackling Sid.

Natasha: I promise you Priya.

Priya: Ok. Come with me to sharma house and apologize to my parents, keep calm, don't react to anything my mother says, I will help you guys move out within the next week. Do you trust me?

Natasha nods and goes and apologizes and doesn't react to anything spoken by Shipra.

Priya asks Natasha to go to her room.

Priya: Taali Ek haath se nahi bajti Hai maa. Jitna galti Natasha ka hai, galti Ayesha Ki bhi Hai. Main yeh baat isliye nahi keh rahi Kyun ki Natasha mere pati ki behen Hai, isliye keh rahi hoon, kyunki main ek aurat hoon, Jo Ayesha Ki dukh samaj Sakti hoon, aur Natasha ki bhi.

Shipra: Lekin Priya.

Priya: Aap ko lagta hai ki main Kapoor khandaan Ki bahu ki tarah baat kar rahi hoon na, theek hai, toh phir sochiye, aap ke Natasha ki taraf, irritation dekh kar mere ghar walon ko bhi aise hi behave kar na chahiye na?

Sudhir: Priya theek keh rahi Hai Shipra. Shaant ho jao.

Priya: Kartik kaha Hai?

Kartik comes, Priya takes him outside the house, both discuss the situation at home and he understands to maintain good relations, it is in the best interests to move out of the house with Natasha.

Priya: Kartik aur Natasha, doosra ghar khoj ke chale jaayenge. Sab ko thodi space Ki zaroorat Hai.

Before Shipra couldn't react, Sudhir stops her agreeing with Priya.

Priya goes to talk with Ayesha.

Priya: Ab kaisi Hai tu?

Ayesha: Theek hoon di.

Priya: Jaise tere Jeeju ne kaha, that he will help you out, he will talk to a few modelling brands and arrange for some assignments for you, most probably, outside India. I want you to accept it, change in atmosphere will help you.

Ayesha: Thanks di, par Natasha ne jo kiya.

Priya: Natasha ne jo kiya, tu ne blackmail kiya Sab pata Hai mujhe. Please bury everything and start fresh. Natasha will not bother you, you don't bother her. Give it sometime. But I want a promise from you.

Ayesha: Anything for you di.

Priya: Stay away from Siddhant.

Ayesha: Ok di. Pakka. I am sorry di. About the blackmail. I don't know why I did that.

Priya: I don't want to discuss about that right now. I am getting late and I need to go back to KM.

Priya asks Kartik to drop her back at KM. Priya reaches KM.

Niharika: Tumhari behen samajti Kya Hai apne aap ko? Natasha ne itna bada favor kiya uspe aur, usne usiko sabke saamne thappad mara?

Priya doesn't speak a word, she just stands there.

Niharika continues her rant about how, she had done a favor on her and let Ram marry her and how she is getting to live this rich life, travel to London etc. After a lot of nonsense being spoken.

Priya: Natasha ne maa-papa se maafi maangli Hai, aur woh apne ghar jaa chuku Hai. Main thak gayi hoon, mujhe sona Hai.

Priya walks away from there leaving a completely shocked Niharika.

Priya: Ram?

Ram: Itni raat gaye, tum aagayi, you could have called me, I would have picked you up.

Priya: Kartik dropped me. Thank you for understanding the situation, even though you did not have much idea what was happening.

Ram: Please don't thank me. It was all Neha and Vikram, they spoke sense into me. I am sorry again Priya. What happened? You came back, I thought you had to stay there to handle things.

Priya: Everything has been handled.

Ram: What do you mean?

Priya tells Ram about everything, except the abortion and blackmail part.

Ram: Oh god! But why did Choti behave that way? Why did she do that to Ayesha?

Priya: I have to tell you something, but you have to promise to understand the situation and not react hastily.

Ram: Promise.

Priya: Natasha did not have a miscarriage, she had aborted the baby.

Ram: What? Why?

Priya: Like you keep saying she is a kid, usi bachpane Mein usne abortion karvaya. Yeh baat mujhe, uske miscarriage ke drama se pehle pata thi, usne mana kiya tha aapse share Karen ke liye about abortion.

Ram: Why didn't you share? Usne mana kiya toh Kya hua? I have the right to know. I didn't expect this from you Priya.

Priya: I know. But we were going through our own problems at that point with Apeksha and Krishnaji situation. And Natasha said, she would tell you herself. But she panicked and she was afraid how my family and Kartik would react so, she did the miscarriage bit. Somehow, Ayesha came to know about this and started blackmailing Natasha to become showstopper.

Ram: Which Choti cannot handle. She cannot handle anyone dictating terms to her. How did you come to know about all of this?

Priya: I spoke to Natasha, convinced her to get back home and promised her that she and Kartik would move out of our parents home and live separately.

Ram: Why?

Priya: Adjustment issues Hai. Rehne dijiye na, at the end of the day be it us or my parents, we want Natasha and Kartik to be happy. My parents have agreed too.

Ram: I have spoken to a major firm in Paris, they will get Ayesha on board asap.

Priya: Wow. We have managed to avert a hurricane, by holding each others hand.

Ram: That's true yaar. But Sid ka kuch Karna hoga.

Priya: We will think about him tomorrow, now let's get some sleep.
