Aastha Chaudhary, the protagonist of Babul Ka Aangan has changed her mind about quitting the show. She was about to leave the show when her issues got resolved with the production house and she was asked to stay back.
A source informs, "Aastha had informed the production house of Babul… that she is quitting the show. The reason was she being unhappy with the current story track. The channel and the production house were not in the favour of Aastha's decision. Certain changes have been made in the track and now Aastha is ready to continue with Babul..."
Confirming the news, producer Ratna Sinha says, "Aastha is very much a part of Babul… She is the protagonist of our show and she will remain so."
Aastha explains, "I had a problem with the sudden change in the story. Post strike, the story got very confusing. We actors did not know what we are doing. In addition to this, the track required me to be pregnant and which I was not comfortable with. But few changes have been made in the story. The new track is sounding interesting and it will not require much of my time. So I have decided to stay back in the show. Since the new track will not require much of my time, I will also get an opportunity to take some rest."

| After Siddharth Shukla quit Baabul ka Aangan Chootey Naa there have been rumours of other actors wanting to quit the show aswell. The main lead Aastha Chowhary too was apparently planning to leave the show. According to sources, Aastha is unhappy with the new track and the direction the serial is taking. So is there any truth to the buzz, we asked Aastha. "No. I'm very much doing the show. In fact I am shooting for it right now," she said. How then did these rumours start? "I have no clue. Yes, a month ago I was unhappy with the track where I was shown pregnant. I'm too young to be pregnant! But they've convinced me that there will be no kids in the future. So I'm fine with that," she said. Baabul Ka Aangan Chootey Naa started as a typical family drama and then went on to becoming a thriller. Too many bizarre twists and turns have taken place in the show already. Wonder what's next? Let's wait and watch. | |||||||
Apparently, Aastha Chaudhary and Siddharth Shukla of Babul Ka Aangan… are the latest couple on the block. A little birdie from the industry whispers that the two are dating each other.
A reliable source said, "Initially, Aastha and Siddharth did not get along with each other. Earlier, they would have disputes over petty issues regarding the shooting and schedule. But slowly and steadily, a romantic chemistry has been evolving between the two. Aastha was upset with Siddharth being out of the show and demanded that he should be called back. To her dismay, she has to move on with the show sans Siddharth."
Siddharth though denied the news saying, "It is not at all true. I have heard such rumours about Aastha and me earlier as well. It is strange that others know about my personal life more than I do."

How important is money to you?
Obviously money is very important to me though not everything. At least to fulfil certain basic needs, money plays a big role.
Is it love or money for you?
Definitely love!
How do you handle your expenses?
I do it all by myself. I just spend and keep a mental calculation on my expenditure.
How good are you at saving?
I am not really good; I shop like crazy so there is hardly anything that goes for saving.
Are you a spendthrift?
Sometimes!
Are you an impulsive buyer?
Yeah, I am one.
Your most recent purchase…
I shopped bags and footwear for 16,000 rupees in one single day.
What do you spend the most amount of money on?
On cosmetics and perfumes.
At what age did you start earning and what did you do with your first salary?
At the age of 22, I started earning. I bought lot of gifts for my parents, brother and kept a little for myself too.
How much money do you carry with you every day?
I don't carry a lot of money, at least not more than two-thousand rupees. I use cards more than cash. You have ATMs all over, then why carry a lot of cash?
What is your best purchase till date?
Nothing really that has been the best. Otherwise I would consider my car as a good buy.
Most expensive purchase till date?
I bought a LCD home theatre which cost me 80,000 rupees.
One tip as far as spending money is concerned…
Don't spend too much money but have a limit to what you buy. Make a list of important things that you have to buy and stick to buying only those. This year, I want to shop less and invest more in properties.

After a spate of controversies Babul Ka Aangan is going off air. Producer Rashmi Sharma's show that is tentatively titled Suhagan will be replacing it.
A reliable source informs, "Babul Ka Aangan is going off air on February 5 and a new show produced by Rashmi Sharma will be replacing it from February 9. The shooting of Babul will stop from this week. The reason Babul… is going off air is the drop in TRPs."
As reported earlier by Tellychakkar, Suhagan has new comers Jayshree and Maninder playing the lead roles and actors like Pankaj Dheer, Neelu Kohli, Guddi Maruti, Madhavi Gogate and Rinku Ghosh playing character roles.
The Creative Head of Fiction Sony said, "I cannot comment on it as yet."
Producer Ratna Sinha as well as Rashmi Sharma remained unavailable to comment.
Aastha Chaudhary, protagonist of Babul… said, "I have heard about the same but nothing has been officially told to me so far."
Sony's show Babul Ka Aangann will see its end mostly in February...
