Babul Ka Aangann to end in Feb?

One of the top shows of Sony, Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Naa produced by Ratna Sinha is all set to go off air. The show has recently failed to gain the expected TRP’s resulting in its sudden pull out.

“Yes, the show might go off air in February, but the date is yet to be finalized,” says Producer Ratna Sinha, Chota Ganpati Creation.

The show has seen a gradual down fall post strike. Recently it was reported that Shubh aka Siddharth Shukla left the show due to the haywire storyline. Aastha was also tipped to leave the show for the same reason. Then there were many speculations of change in tracks. Recently we reported that many new characters were to enter the show to give it a boost. But it now looks as though the show might not hold on for long.

We called up Sanjay Upadhyay, Creative Head Sony who said, “Well the show has not been doing well of late and thus the decision was taken. We are yet to decide on the final date as to when the show will go off air. Within two days, things will get clear. Besides, we have a new show on stand by which can take up the slot.”

According to our source, “Rashmi Desai, the producer of Raja Ki Aayagi Baraat, is ready with a new show titled Suhaagan. This may replace Babul, but nothing has been decided as of now.”

Though the show generated one of the highest TRP’s for the channel once, it now looks as though ‘Babul ka aangan choot hi gaya’…

Rahil Azam .. Vaishali Nazreth ..Dadaji [ don''t know his name ] gave solid performance thru out the show .. very focused on their characters ..
Adi Irani tack was well thought out ... Itishreee public statement was messy ..
Ratnaji''s casting was not well thought out ..Good Actors should be flexible ..People will not compromise to them..

Vaishali Nazreth ..inspite of all odds & situations ..she scraped thru & maintained her character Visible .. PPl are not kind to appreciate coz they don''t understand what good performance standards are ..Most of them they don''t even see Babul ..come to mislead ..that''s why they talk abt outer looks of sid & astha ..have nothing to discuss..not following the show..

Script writer & Ratnaji have given their best ..it is not fair to condemn them .. due to some internal conflicts created by the leads ..Astha choudhary & Sid Shukla..
Their diplomatic statements to save the image of the leads went against them..PPL know ..who is what ..?

Rahil Azam, who is playing a split personality in Babul Ka Angann Chootney Na, has been receiving laurels and applause by producers as well as audiences.

The actor has been appreciated by all and sundry for playing the courtesan so convincingly on the show. He has received calls from fans and other producers. Even his co-star from Resham Dankh and Kahiin Kissi Roz, Moulli Ganguly has complimented him by saying that only he could play a woman so convincingly. The credit for the right casting goes to Ratna Sinha who was adamant on roping in Rahil to essay the role.
