@ kt25 - Sudha who? 😉. I hope Neelam pays Bharti a visit. She was always lovely to Bharti, and I loved her teasing Murli. Perhaps this time Murli will join in, now that he isn't po-faced anymore seeing as how he has sache dil se claimed Bharti! 😆@ Rae - Thank you kindly. I tend to write one-shots' I'm afraid. It's all I can manage in my time! 😃. I suddenly get a scene in my head and it has to be out there! But I'd love to read someone else's FF.

@ Hashbrown - Thanks for liking it. It doesn't really matter if CV's don't show any of these scenes, but they must show something to indicate closure on this issue. I hope we get to see something real soon.

Another BharLi scene.

It is night time and BharLi are in their bedroom. They are on the bed. Murli is sitting up, leaning back against the headboard, while Bharti is leaning back against him. Murli has his hands around her in an embrace.

They are discussing the arrival of the baby. After a visit to the doctors they have been told how difficult this pregnancy may be for Bharti. She voices her worries and doesn't want anything to happen to the baby. Murli reassures her that nothing will happen. That they will be prepared for all eventualities, and he will be there for her no matter what. He places a kiss on the side of her head, and strokes her hands as he says his words of comfort.

Suddenly, he comes from behind Bharti and lays across his stomach and brings his face near to her stomach and starts talking to the baby.

"You can hear me right? I can't tell you how happy I am that you are coming. My days aren't going fast enough. I know you will be the loveliest baby in the world. After all you are growing in THIS mother's womb, so that will be for sure"

He smiles up at Bharti, who places a small hand on his cheek touched by his sentiments. Murli carries on.

"I will do anything and everything for you when you get here. But before then there is something you must do for me. You musn't give your mother any trouble ok? You must behave and give her a pleasant time. And when the time comes near, like a good child, enter the world without causing her any pain ok? Whatever difficulty you were to give to her, when you come, you can give it all to me"

He kisses his own fingers and then gently places them on Bharti's stomach. Bharti has tears in her eyes as she looks at her husband and wonders why she ever felt alone at any point.

Murli then places his head on her lap as Bharti runs her fingers through his hair. The lovely bansuri music is played and we leave the couple to their thoughts and to each other.
