I did check out BAVD during the ad breaks this week. What I would like to see next in BAVD is?😃 Well, I think the CVs should show such a scene where someone should burn down all the certificates owned by Bharti😈 Just like DS made Anandi burn her books once upon a time in BV. I hated DS for this but I'll definitely love the person who'll do this job in BAVD😈 Why I'm saying this? Well, if this show was truly a story of a midget girl who had the guts to break all the norms of the society & be a successful career woman & be an example for all those who couldn't overcome their disabilities then the certificates of Bharti would make sense, otherwise it's simply useless🥱

If Bharti had to be shown getting married & becoming a housewife/DIL & a Mahaan soul then what's the need of those degree/certificates😵 Now don't tell me she is the 50% owner of Bharti Sweets. It's just to say yes she is the owner. Does she go to the factory, the answer is No. She just stays at home. Above all, it was Mupesh who established the factory, later on Bharti just handled it for a few days. All she did was day-dreaming to make Bharti Sweets go international. What did she do to realize her dreams? All she did was spying on Prakash, collecting evidences against him so that she could get away from the factory responsibilities ASAP & be a full time housewife/DIL in the Lal Zoo. That's it!😡

Just like Yuvi was pampered by the Jagirdar family up to the hilt in RS for being a eunuch, here we had Dharup to pamper Bharti for being a midget & turn her into a spoilt kid🤢 The only difference is Yuvi turned into a murderer & Bharti into a childish brat I have no sympathy for Bharti. All my sympathy for her went into the gutter once she brought Mridala back home🤬 And how to forget that moment when she opened her big fat mouth & tried to convince Murli to accept the Evil trio?😡 Now she cries like a baby when Kamala tells her something. I know what Kamala said was wrong & she broke Bharti's trust. So what?😡 When Bharti betrays Murli's trust, behind his back goes & brings Mridala back to their Zoo, then it's ok. But when someone does something or says something to Bharti that she doesn't like then she's hurt. What a joke!😡🤬

Since I saw that promo of Bharti bringing Mridala back home, I can't tell you guyz how angry I am with this moron queen😡 And plz don't tell me she did it bcoz Gau was pregnant. Even if gau wasn't pregnant, Bharti being the Doormat Champion would have definitely brought them back. If given the golden chance then she'll even bring back the Evil Trio🤢

And why should Murli leave the Zoo just bcoz Chimti is a 🤬? He's the owner of the circus so he has full rights to fire the jokers & untamed animals out of the Zoo😈

Talking about Bharti's pregnancy, Rupesh did say in the 2^nd episode that Bharti can become a mother. And looking at his track record of lying in the first two episodes, which means he lied about the property & money so why can't he lie about his daughter's capability of becoming a mother?😈 After all, he was so desperate to get Bharti hitched that he just kept on lying & lying. So what's the big deal if he lied that Bharti can become a mother? I would get surprised if Rupesh's statement turns out to be true & there are actually no complications during Bharti's pregnancy😈

I wonder what is the moral of BAVD? Do the CVs want to show that midgets are normal human beings like any one of us & deserve the same respect & status in the society OR do the CVs want to convey the message that midgets are not normal human beings thus, they deserve to be showered with sympathy & looked upon with full pity & deserve royal/special treatment😲Looking at the serial, it seems as if the CVs are following the latter principle👎🏼

It's high time that the CVs get a reality check of what they're doing with the serial. It's better if the CVs stop thinking they've created a magnum opus with a unique concept & stop feeling proud of themselves😵 The CVs should be ashamed of themselves & drown themselves for making a mockery of the whole concept of being a midget👎🏼😡

When I read the first TB article on this show of being the first one to explore the midget concept, I was damn excited But the fact is it's a plain saas bahu serial. I agee with what Vrish said once that there's no difference between BAVD & other saas bahu serials, the only difference is the height of the bahu👎🏼😡

I started watching this serial to see the story of a midget girl who could fight against the society & make a place for herself. I didn't start watching this serial to watch the scheming conspiracies of Jethani against her devrani, or MIL-DIL relationship, or outsiders entering the house & plotting against the house owners, or fights over property/money or romance between the lead couple. If one has to watch a serial with these characteristics then why not other serials. Just give me one good reason why I should watch BAVD. To watch Bharti compete with the other serial leading ladies & her struggle to win the title of Mahaan Doormat DIL Champion🥱

I feel BAVD is a saas bahu like any other serial that's why I make weird demands like Jhumroo marriage, Mridala Vs Ashtik, Murli Vs Murari, etc. If BAVD was not a typical saas bahu then I wouldn't be making such demands, in fact there would be no place or need for this nonsense at all

And you🤬CVs, if you say that your serial is different then mean it, let your work speak for yourself, don't show stupidity in interviews by uttering nonsense that how different your show is from others & how you're showing the tale of a midget girl which will touch the hearts of the audiences...my foot! If you can't make your show different in true sense then just go to hell & take your serial along with you🤬

The damage is already done so I prefer to see the CVs end this nonsense & bring BAVD part 2, but should name it Bharti & this time show her struggle in true sense with college life to her job, & not jump start with marriage or romance How silly & stupid of me to think that the CVs will actually rectify their mistakes if a part 2 is made😡

Yes, Bharli are a unique & cute couple but I didn't watch this show to watch Bharli. If the CVs wanted to run the show on the basis of Bharli then they should have promoted the show as a love story between a guy & a midget girl rather than promoting it solely on the basis of dwarfism😲 I feel so cheated that I wasted so many months on this serial previously but then why to blame the CVs or channel, I was the biggest fool to believe in the concept & watch it😡 And I was a bigger moron to continue watching this show despite it's deviation from the main concept for the sake of Vikrant!!!😡 Thank god I freed myself from this torture before I ended up in a mental asylum for watching this Awesome Brilliant Charismatic Mind blowing Fabulous Superb show🤢

Looks like we were both turned off by the very same event - Bharti bringing Mridala back home! After that episode, I stopped watching, and just read the updates, except for now, where I have nothing else to watch b/w 10:30pm, after RBO, and 11pm, during the BV re-run ( I don't always get to watch @ 8pm)

For me, that was the last straw. I mean, here was an event that corrected all the wrongs since the day the Lals entered Bharti's life, and Bharti undoes it again! And I disagree w/ the majority opinion here, who think that Murari/Ashtik were worse than Gau. Looking @ this from Bharli point of view, Bharli would not have been hurt had they succeeded in their plans, which was to kick Bansi & his family out, and own the place w/ Bharli. In such an event, Murli would still have remained the owner, while Murari would have had a special status as his father, but nothing would have happened to Bharti. But in all the plots that Gau, and now Chimti, plotted, the goal was to deprive Bharli of their possessions. And to this day, Gau hasn't returned to her sasural the proceeds from the sale of their old house: only time it was on offer was when Prakash held Amarti to ransom, but it wasn't mentioned whether they returned to to their sasural after that, or kept it.

Anyway, I too don't agree w/ others that Chimti should be kicked out. After all, the best solution of Mridala being kicked out did surface, and not only did Bharti go behind Murli's back & bring them back, but she even gave them a share in the property. After this, if a repeat happens of that incident where Bharti almost got burnt due to Gau putting some item too high, this time I won't sympathize w/ the former. Since Bharti's behavior is self-destructive, I can't sympathize w/ her, just as I'm finding it harder to sympathize w/ Anandi as the episodes go by. And I agree w/ you - she'd have brought back Mridala even if Gau hadn't been pregnant, and she'd have brought back her second bhauji Murari, had it not been for one inconvenient detail that he was taken to jail, where she didn't have much pull.

I agree w/ your burning down idea. How about this - a fire takes place in Dhara's home, burning all of Bharti's medals & certificates (okay, the metal won't burn, but the wood will, unless the 'wood' part of it is really woodgrain i.e. plastic w/ a wood-looking finishing.) thereby making Dhara a permanent member in this house (if Chimti, why not Dhara?) Yeah, those things have been of no use in this show, and Bharti is an overrated girl who is nothing above your below-average woman whose sole aspiration after growing up is getting married and trudging around the kitchen barefoot & pregnant. As you pointed out, during the few days that she & Amit were running Bharti Sweets, the only major focus of her was vindicating herself b4 her holy sasural, rather than putting together an execution plan for the expansion of her business. 🤔

I do disagree w/ you about Murli - since he is willing to take hard decisions like kicking his father out, I don't think he deserves to be punished for Bharti's stupidity. Here now, I'm going to disappoint all the Bharli fans, but feel free to disagree - I'm not going to use my status to insist that I not be opposed 😆 His only mistake was marrying Bharti the second time: instead of giving her a bhashan on taking him back, he should have accepted her suggestion to take Sudha, and released her. Bharti would have ended up w/ Amit, who had no zoo w/ him and had left the circus, and she'd have had a peaceful life, while Murli would have had his half of Rupesh's property. But Murli did screw up his own life w/ that decision. But I'm not sure that the punishment he's now facing fits the crime ❓

I don't know whether Rupesh lied about Bharti's pregnability, even though I agree w/ you that he was fully capable of it. But today, when Bharti examined the alpana (or whatever it's called) decorations on the floor being smudged & tried to bend, she was in pain, and Kamala went to her. So I think they will show complications. If Rupesh's statement is false, Bharti's pregnancy would have complications, and if not, she'd be knocked up like Sushma, Jyoti & Reshmi.

I don't think there is any moral to the story, and that it's just the good old trick of having a unique USP, and then applying the tried & tested bait & switch strategy. In Jyoti, it was about her putting her marriage on hold so that she could support her maayka, but that got damaged by Padma's plottings. In RS, it was about a blind girl who was very capable, but it became such a torture that they restored her sight, but at least made it fun for a good while. Here, they used the midget concept to attract viewers, but then made the midget another house-bound bahu. Just as you don't look to these shows for consistency in storylines, don't look to them for morals either. How do you expect morals from a channel that comes up w/ a mockery like Ratan ka Rishta?

Incidentally, whereas BAVD was a sasur-damaat show, now LD, which I caught yesterday, is a bahu-sasur-dada-sasur show now where Billoo and her grandpa-in-law are pitted against her FIL. I foung the fights b/w FIL & GIL really funny. Incidentally, she used the same bhashan as Jyoti, and urged her GIL not to sacrifice one rishta (for his son) for another (hers). In short, another mahaan character in the line-up.

I know that this is a strange thing for me, as the viewbie of this forum to say, but I'm now actively rooting for Imagine to pull the plug on this show. The few weeks that it was the only Imagine show in the top 100 is now over - it's no longer there. Rather than the CVs coming up w/ inane tracks, Imagine should get another reality show (do something like the Ozzie Osbourne show - put live cameras in the home of a celebrety couple, watch their every move day & night, and fill up that time slot. Pick someone that people have voyeuristic tendencies over, and just kill that time slot using that strategy. 😈

I don't think it's fair to compare Anandi with Bharti or any other serial leading lady. Bharti has been brought up at her parent's home in a city, she's a degree/certificate/medal holder, highly educated that she has the ability to live independently & stand on her own feet, lived with facilities, freedom, protected by her father all the time...

Anandi has been brougth up in a rural place, was married at a age when she knew nothing about marriage, DS would lock her up in the Kal kothri, scold her badly, slap her hard, etc, in fact, DS left no stone unturned to torture Anandi. Anandi had to live in fear of getting punishment of DS, nobody could protect her from the Hitler DS. It highly depends on child psychology. Anandi has been brainwashed since childhood to live the way she is by her parents & sasural...so I really don't agree with people who call her a doormat.

Though Anandi did stop everybody from leaving the haveli, I don't hold anything against her as she was a kid at that time & was just 11 or 12 years old. She has always been taught to listen to DS & her sasural people.

But here in BAVD, when Mridala left home, Bharti was definitely not a kid but a grown up lady. The only thing that I hold against Anandi is that she should have studied when she was at her parent's place...she didn't. However after Jag's ignorance towards her, she did study & that also against DS's willingness👍🏼 She used to help others outside & go to teach & once again against DS's wish. She did take the stand & I'm glad that she did it The kind of environment Anandi was brought up in...it's highly unfair to call her a doormat or Mahaan or compare her with Bharti. I strongly feel Bharti is a doormat. If she too was brought up in circumstances like Anandi was then I wouldn't be saying this😉

I agree... Kicking out Chimti is of no use as Bharti is the goal-keeper who'll go & get the ball back again & place it before Murli - the player😆 & tell him Don't you dare kick this ball out again. Bharti herself invites the problems on herself so I don't have pity for her. I'm happy that now Gau will turn negative & torture Bharti... She brought them back so she deserves the fun😈

I agree that though Chimti is brainwashing Gau...but's it's Kamala's behavior that's turning Gau into her evil mode. Even in the earlier episodes we could see Kamala hugging Bharti, oiling her hair, feeding her... did she ever do this to Gau. At that time I was shocked how come Gau doesn't care about the partiality being done😲 But now finally Gau has sensed the partiality done by Kamala😈 & this is going to be the main reason for Gau turning negative. Chimti's brainwashing is just a secondary reason which has no significance at all in compared to Kamala's behavior

I watch SBS & during the ad breaks I tune into BAVD. Mostly I guess the plot on the basis of promos. I don't read the updates normally, only sometimes. Even if this serial is a normal saas bahu serial, the funny thing is it's not interesting in comparison to other serials🥱 I agree that there's no moral at all.🤢Remember Kashi used to give out a moral at the end of the episode. I thought it was one serial that had the capacity to give tough competition to BV, but it didn't. Even Devi had capacity to compete with other shows at its time slot but then nothing happened. RS too had capacity if it was promoted properly. After the Jagirdar track, the show did lose its charm but it could have been retained in other ways by showing the romance track between Neerdhya which the CVs didn't do plus the time change was a curse for the show

Even I want BAVD to end😈 The funny thing is that the show i watch started maybe one month after BAVD started. That show is getting interesting day by day in my POV & has many tracks that can be explored in future but BAVD seems to have reached the stagnation point...nothing left to show🥱 For me everything ended after Rupesh's death. BAVD has also lost it's hold in the TRP chart... very soon it'll get axed😈 Does anybody think Imagine will have mercy on BAVD & spare it? 😆 I don't understand in RBO, why Shaan left home, he could have stayed at home & started some new work on his own...what was the need to leave? Sometimes I really don't understand serials on that channel😉😆

If Imagine has to sustain it's position then it has to concentrate on the mythos & historical genre. I would definitely want to see whether Dwarkadish does wonders for the channel or not. Coz right now the only saving grace for the channel is CGM & Shani Dev. Imagine needs Kings & God to save the channel😆 Even reality shows don't fetch so much TRPs in comparison to the other reality shows on other channels which fetch TRPs over 3 & 4😈The reason fiction doesn't work here is bcoz of the negative image that the channel has given out by closing down shows one after another frequently😡 Btw BBCG entered the charts after Jai & Sarika's wedding... but it's the same Saas bahu show where the Jethani plots agains the Devrani😆...is there any show that's free from all this plotting I don't watch LD. Not interested at all🥱 LD started off as the story of a girl involved in stealing... don't tell me now the show is now about families🤣 When I was surfing the channel I did catch a scene where Billo saved a man on the bike then at home he blamed her for plotting this🤣 I really don't know what's going on there so I prefer to stay away.

The only thing left in BAVD was to recycle the process of finding a Var. So convert Murli into the Baba who'll have to search a Var for his midget daugther. But looks like Bharti will give birth to a son. Thanks to that Daima who has magical powers & knew who'll give birth to what by looking at their beendis or eyebrows...that i don't know🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Btw if the son is a midget...then the serial would be Baba Aiso Vadhu Dhoondo😆 I'm not making fun of this concept... the CVs started it😳😉

The man that Billoo saved was her FIL, whose murder was plotted by his bro (Jas, that's Devind, he's back from PKCM, but this time in a negative role! 😆) Yep, LD is now a 'family' show (in the West, a family show means something innocent that the entire family can watch, like the Brady Bunch or Saved by the Bell, but here, a family show is usually a soap about a family bitterly divided someway or the other 🤣🤢 I agree w/ you that Bharti is a lot less sympathetic than Anandi, but the reason I have a dim view of her right now is that she's so scizophrenic. I mean, if she considers Jagya as belonging to Gauri now, she should stop behaving like she belongs to him. I just am not following why she doesn't return home, or move to a hostel & resume studies. That show desperately needs its Kabir moment.

I loved your comment that Imagine needs Kings & Gods to save the channel. Incidentally, looks like 7pm is the worst time for any show, even Ram-ji can't battle the TRP rakshashas 😆 second time around, so why blame Neeraj and Sandhya when they couldn't? Your comment about Imagine reminded me of that scene in Geet, where to me, it looked like the Imagine fraternity all sticking up for each other - some non-Imagine outsider named Lucky tried to slap Brij, but Rama came to his rescue 🤣 Incidentally, I think Brij makes a better jodi w/ Kashi than he ever did w/ Sushma. Maybe she can get him interested in educating rural folk, including Anandi 😆

Yup, I too wish Sriti would return. Even in Imagine, I'd be okay if she played Helen - the daughter of Selukus who married Chandragupta. They could make it interesting. I also opined in BV that I'd like Naman to surface as Anandi's new love interest, and later, hubby. Also, in Dwarikadeesh, I hope they give Satyabhama's or Draupadi's role to Sneha Wagh - that would be fascinating.

Okay, enough of my digressing. On BV, I do wish that @ some point, Ashtami comes out of jail, while Murari & Kartik are dead (since the actors have moved to other shows), and she's out for revenge. She comes back here, is again welcomed by Bharti, and successfully does some serious damage to Chimp-ti, Gau, Mridang, and also successfully gets Kamansi, Jhumroo and Veena kicked out. As a result, the only ones left standing in the end will be Bharli, Dhara and Ashtami. That's my remaining desire for this serial

I don't know why but if you express this feeling there then people think you are a Gaga supporter😲 I've said it many times that it's for her own benefit...but then some members say she should stay there & has more rights than Jag...And I'm left clueless how to argue with them...so I run away from the forum🤣 Me too... I'm waiting for someone to enter in Anandi's life😍 You want Naman, but i read a TB article which said he's going to dance in RKR🤪 Jas you're saved...only Naman dancing not the others from RS😆

I don't get to watch anything at 7pm. By chance if I get to watch something at 7:30 then I prefer to watch a new show...why to watch the repeat of Ramayan?😕 I love Mythos & I love Ramayan, I don't mind to watch the repeats on Sunday morning, but not on other days😉 God can't save the channel at the 7pm time slot...seriously it was a blunder from the channel's side to think that repeating Ramayan will bring back it's loyal viewers. I'm not saying nobody will watch it. Some will. But at least I'm not going to...😉

Btw the Imagine Khichdi is not only available in Geet but also in SSK where Karan of PKCM is right now angry with Laxmi of Devi, Mandodari of Ramayan whenever stuck in any problem starts chanting Om Namoh Bhagavate Vasudevaya, Sarika's dadi of BBGC is always busy protecting Laxmi of Devi, Prakash's FF of BAVD has his photo hanging over there on the wall with garland around it, Anusuya of RS has a relative in all the places around the world & can go on & on & on about it while her MIL & hubby look helpless unable to stop her talking🤣 The serial is good...the drawback is that this serial moves at the pace of a snail🥱🥱 I like the Non-Imagine character in Geet - the drunk maternal uncle who's drunk all the time. He's so funny😆

I heard CG has many wives, so I don't want Sriti to play the role. I want her to play the lead not to get sidelined. But it should be different just like Sudha or Sandhya.

And since there's news of Ashish being chosen for CG, the GKD fans are opening threads in the CGM forum that they want Tanvi too😆 The battle began between the CGM fans & GKD fans...& then the Global moderator stepped in & issued a warning😆

Even Sneha has disappeared after Jyoti...she too will dance in RKR😆

Coming back to BAVD, i wonder how come Murari & Ashtik are still in jail while Prakash & his FF got out so easily😕 Btw are there chances of RA returning...he seems to forget his revenge😕

My desire would be Prakash breaking out through jail coming back, trying to shoot at either Murli or Bharti but Chimti gets hit😈 If he does this then all his sins will be washed away as he'll be an angel to the BAVD viewers by saving them from Chimti🤣

Yup, I too have no idea why if one brings up something wrong w/ Anandi's reaction, her fans there react by pointing to Gauri. Like yesterday, I pointed out why Anandi's behavior was self destructive, and someone agreed w/ me, but added that so was Gauri. Maybe, but how does that take away from Anandi's problems, which are in focus?

Naman and Sneha may dance in RkR, but that'll just be an appearance or show - after next week, it'll be over. So he'll be available, and hopefully, BV brings him in as Anandi's new love interest. As for Sriti, I don't think CGM had many wives - there were 2 threads in that forum:

So she would be somewhat unique anyway. Besides, unlike Dasharath's wives or Sita, Chandragupta's wife/s were never a big player/s. But I don't want her to be the wife who was accidentally poisoned, and whose womb was cut open by Chanakya to save her baby.

On the Imagine khichri in other shows, I too spotted PKCM's Karan in SSK, but I didn't catch that the girl opposite him was Devi. I did however catch Anusuya. And yeah, I like Geet's drunken mama as well, but only to a point: this aspect makes for slapstick comedy b'cos it's overdone.

As for BAVD, another option would be to have RA, Prakash & Murari all return for revenge. Have all of them want revenge against Murli, but have Murari then persuade them all to support him in getting rid of first Mridala (as in killing them) and along w/ them, Bansi & others. Obviously, Chimp-ti will get caught in this fight, and hopefully tries to kill Murari, but instead ends up killing Prakash. RA tries to kill Murli, but ends up killing Dumroo or Mridang, and Chimp-ti retaliates against him, and they both injure each other badly. RA has his gang, who make short work of the family members. Oh, and do this while Bhari is away - maybe in hospital for a check-up, and have the entire family massacred @ home, and have cops come and take everybody away.

After that, there can be peace.

Btw the Imagine Khichdi is not only available in Geet but also in SSK where Karan of PKCM is right now angry with Laxmi of Devi, Mandodari of Ramayan whenever stuck in any problem starts chanting Om Namoh Bhagavate Vasudevaya, Sarika's dadi of BBGC is always busy protecting Laxmi of Devi, Prakash's FF of BAVD has his photo hanging over there on the wall with garland around it, Anusuya of RS has a relative in all the places around the world & can go on & on & on about it while her MIL & hubby look helpless unable to stop her talking🤣 The serial is good...the drawback is that this serial moves at the pace of a snail🥱🥱 I like the Non-Imagine character in Geet - the drunk maternal uncle who's drunk all the time. He's so funny😆

I heard CG has many wives, so I don't want Sriti to play the role. I want her to play the lead not to get sidelined. But it should be different just like Sudha or Sandhya.

And since there's news of Ashish being chosen for CG, the GKD fans are opening threads in the CGM forum that they want Tanvi too😆 The battle began between the CGM fans & GKD fans...& then the Global moderator stepped in & issued a warning😆

Even Sneha has disappeared after Jyoti...she too will dance in RKR😆

Coming back to BAVD, i wonder how come Murari & Ashtik are still in jail while Prakash & his FF got out so easily😕 Btw are there chances of RA returning...he seems to forget his revenge😕

My desire would be Prakash breaking out through jail coming back, trying to shoot at either Murli or Bharti but Chimti gets hit😈 If he does this then all his sins will be washed away as he'll be an angel to the BAVD viewers by saving them from Chimti🤣

Ok, so enough of my Chimti talk...time for some serious talk on the hot topic right now on this forum😉

So now Bharti has been diagnosed with pregnancy complications🥱 What do you guyz think? Will she ever share this with Murli or keep it within herself until the last breath of her life? How would you guyz react if Bharti decides to abort the child for her safety?😲 Would you get shocked?😲

Well the latest promo suggests that she's ready to risk her life & will give birth to the baby😵 Most of us knew that this would be Bharti's next step, but then how come we knew it?😲 In fact, any other positive female character in her place would be doing the same, that's what I feel. I've seen such things many times in movies. Talking about serials, well the leads are so Mahaan that it's obvious

This kind of track whenever shown in movies, the good-good ladies during pregnancy complications, prefer to give up their life & beg the doctors or others to let her die but save the baby😵 Why does this happen?😕 Coming back to serial, the ladies of Telly world are shown as the sacrificing souls who don't mind to risk their lives for the sake of others🥱 And by this I mean the positive characters. If a lady takes a stand in such a case in serials, then the CVs show her as a negative character coz a positive character is always supposed to sacrifice & give & love & forgive & BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!😡

Can't a positive female character be shown sensible, practical & intelligent for once rather than being displayed as a mahaan doormat…aisa dikhayenge toh kya CVs ki Naani Badnaam hogi???

I guess for the first time I saw a positive female character taking a stand for herself in such a situation was Gehna in BV where the doctor told Gehna that she needs to abort the child as she's too weak which is dangerous for her life. On hearing this Gehna decided to abort the child as she didn't want to risk her life. I don't know what the audiences felt on her step but I felt good to see a lady taking a stand for herself👍🏼 I would call her step being practical rather than showing her that she's ready to die but doesn't want to abort the child & will give birth to the baby anyhow😵

I know the decision is painful but I think the ladies of Telly world need to be shown practical rather than being idealistic in all the matters🤔 I don't understand that if the ladies are shown being practical then why is that they are always the so-called vamps😕 The case of Gehna in BV was revolutionary👍🏼 I don't really recall any other positive female character doing something like this😕

And the most crucial thing is that though the doctors do predict, it's not necessary that whatever the doctor said will be true in future😲 Not even the predictions of a midwife turn out to be true I don't know about this magical midwife in BAVD who could actually predict that Bharti will be delivering a boy & Gau a girl I'm sure a mad dog must have bitten the CVs so they don't know what they're doing with this serial😆

In BV during Jamuna's delivery, two options were given out either the mother or baby could be saved. DS told to save the baby & so the situation was handled accordingly but despite of efforts done to save the baby, neither the baby was saved nor the mother. Sometimes when the option is given out both the mother & baby can be saved & if things go wrong then both may not survive. So here in BAVD, how come Bharti is dead sure that later on the baby will be saved & her sacrifice won't go wasted?😲Don't tell me that midwife inserted some magical powers in her brains😉

And in medical science in today's world, if a woman cannot carry a child in her womb, then there are many other options for it If bharti shares this with Murli, then they can consult a doctor & together work accordingly😊 They can be parents, but only if the CVs stop displaying their stupidity & 🤬😡

It's not only the complication case where a line is drawn between the positive & non-positive female character...😵 if a female character in movies or serials is shown saying that she doesn't want to become a mother soon after their marriage, then one thing is for sure, the lady is shown as a negative character, at least she's not the heroine of the show😲 And I'm fed up of these stupid tracks🤬😡

Sarika of BBGC, is one positive character whom I saw saying that she doesn't want to be a mother for at least 5 years after marriage👏 Normally, we don't find positive characters talking like this; it's just the vamps or the non-heroines that are shown to be having such thoughts😲 Why is this?😕 Can't a woman express her desire to her boyfriend or husband that she's not ready to be a mother for the next few years?😕 Doesn't a woman have rights to have a say in this matter?😕 Why is it that only if she agrees to be a mother super fast after marriage then she gets the title of being a DIL with true cultural values otherwise she has not values at all?🤢

I just don't understand why do CVs normally think that if a lead is shown to have such thoughts then she's not a sanskaari bahu or whatever?😕

I highly appreciate the CVs who dared to break the norms of the Telly world & show the female positive characters speaking out their mind on such topics & taking a stand for themselves in such a situation👏 It's always great to see characters challenging the norms of Telly world being practical & thinking out-of-the-box👏 Such things are always a welcome from my side.

Can we ever see Bharti stop behaving like a Goddess & be practical at least for one day? I have no sympathy for her... I wish she discusses all this with Murli...if she does then ok but if she doesn't then I really don't care whether she lives or dies🥱🤢 God!...I'm such a devil😈

This issue of choosing b/w a mom's life & baby's life used to come up frequently in Jyoti, and if you recall, Anu_rules pointed out that in the real world, a doctor would never try to save a baby's life @ the cost of the mother's. Such fiction is only there in Indian movies & serials. On the emotional side of it, it would make more sense and rivetting TV if they were to show how families dealt w/ such situations, like Bharti's did today.

I thought that Bharti did go ahead and tell her family about all this, until kt25 suggested that it might have been a dream. Guess I'll wait until tomorrow, b'cos I don't want to get pissed off again like I was last night. As it is, today, I saw one dream in LD, am in no mood to see another.

The doormat woman theme continues unabated - ever since the departure of Sandhya, self respecting women are just gone. I had earlier decided not to watch BBGC, but yesterday's & today's episodes made it worthwhile, to some extent. In BBGC yesterday & today, when Sarika found out that her hubby had lied about her being allowed to go to college, her response was mixed. She pointed out that Jai had betrayed her trust and lied to her parents, and today, when Jai's mom revealed to Sarika's parents that Jai had lied and Sarika didn't have such permission, I was happy that they didn't drag this w/ Sarika trying to keep it a secret. I wasn't happy w/ Sarika telling them that she wanted her families to be happy even if she doesn't study, and I didn't like Sarika telling Jai that she'd have accepted it if he had told her that she wouldn't be allowed to study. I particularly didn't like her invoking her dadi, when it's that stupid woman who forced her to prematurely marry.

But one thing Sarika did for which I laud her - at the end of today's episode, she told her husband that while she would remain his wife, she would not perform any of her marital duties towards him in return for the betrayal. 👏 I'd give her a B - she'd deserve an A if she were to walk out of this marriage, resume college and tell her dadi to stuff it!

Back to BAVD - if they were to show Bharti standing up for herself, like Jas suggested, it would make the serial a lot more exciting
