I've heard stories where step mothers abuse their step daughters.....but this is the first time a step mother is being abused by the step daughter and that too a woman like Simran....šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜†.

I have no idea how Simran is going to to change this girl. He attitude and behavior has gone from bad to worse.

If she's not stopped or controlled, Aastha is going to cause some major damage.

Simran is WRONG, she hasn't learned how to bring up Aastha. It was becuase of her love that she was spoiled, now she's showing her more love. That's not going to help.

Abhi has to step in and take charge. Why does Simran keep stopping him from putting Aastha in her place?

Ignoring Astha and not listening to Astha can be a start. Who is Astha to decide who does the cooking? Mrs S can also step up and tell her how she wants to treat her DIL and if Astha is not really pleased with that, then she can leave...
what will that result in, another suicide attempt, well then let her try... get her to the hospital and get her a Psychiatrist to deal with her.
She is beyond what family members can do.. We need to get the venom out of her...

Abhi does need to step up and put Astha in her place. She just over reacts to everything. And besides she is 18 if she can't accept Simran than she can leave.

I say that Simran is totally wrong in what she's doing.

She's not a good parent at all.

She thinks that by her taking Aastha's nonsense she's going to win her over, that's crazy.

She's no better and I blame her too for the way Aashth is.

On the othter hand I can say that Abhi is making the same mistakes by not putting Aastha in her place.

All in all this is one disfunctional family.

Simran has always allowed Aastha to have her own way, she has never disciplined her. Aastha takes advantage of her mother's love because she knows no matter what she does her mom will never do anything to her. But Simran needs to stop babying her and make her grow up, make her realize she is not a child who gets all the attention.

babying.....yes, that is the exact word.....

Simran seriously needs to stop babying Astha and treat her like an adult.

Simran is being abused. Well, she deserves it. One has to stand for his/her own. She does not want to take charge of the situation and Abhi is no good either. He was definitely not a good husband and proved to be a worse father too.

Astha is doing what she has been taught in 18 years. She has learnt all that because of Simran's callous nature and now is practising it on Simran šŸ˜† šŸ˜†

callous??😲 Simran and callous??

Brings up a baby with all the love in the world and she becomes callous? Thousands of adoptive parents out there don't tell their adopted kids that they were not born to them, they are all callous??

According to the dictionary, calous means: " "a concious indifference to suffering of others"; "cold-blooded and indurate to public opinion"

So where has ever Simran shown a 'concious indifference to the suffering of others" ?? How has she set an example of being cold blooded and uncaring of other's feelings??

She cries a lot, whines a lot, over indulges Astha a lot, does not stand up for herself often when berated unfairly by others, but callous?😲 😲 😲

You are right about Astha though. She is callous. Leave alone Simran, she does not even care a hoot about her nanu, not for one minute did she think her selfish action of getting back at Simran for adopting and giving a loving home to her, is resulting in making that old man alone and miserable, her actions are upsetting her own old grand parents, hurting each and every person around her, but she is " conciously indifferent to the suffering of others"; "cold-blooded and indurate to public opinion"

I wish I could UPS a tight slap to this character.
