Minnie, I did not know you had masters in Public relations...no wonder your speaking and writing skills are so good.

I think after reading the intro, I feel I don't know Minnie much then...

1.If you had a choice to settle down at one place...where would you settle down?

3. If you were offered PR job, would you consider or you like what you are doing now?

I find it very interesting that what started to be your hobby has become your full time job... How did this happen? Did you find it difficult to swtich from Public Administration & Relations field to Skin Care & Beauty field?

I started taking beauty course in the first year of my college. I was fascinated by the wonders it could do to skin and your whole personality.I was lucky to find a wonderful beauty school and a wonderful teacher. But at that time it was just something I wanted to know and learn because I loved it. Public relations was a subject which interested me academically and I wanted to make a career out of it. However, the beauty thing got into me and in the end, I guess it just helped me because public relation is after all an integral part of any business. The administration part - well, it sure is helping me understand a few basic things in life today.

Nopes, minnie is the name my hubby gave to me after marriage as I was really tiny at that time; Now I don't resemble anything that can be termed as tiny but the name has stuck....

As for my real name...well, I love the name Minnie so all my friends know me as Minnie....

If done with the correct proceedure at a place where there are trained people performing it, it's fine.Make sure the people are qualified to carry out the teatments.

Also, it is advisable to find out the suitability and effectiveness of the treatment as different kind of skin react differently to it.

Mine was a purely arranged marriage. I met my husband in total of just two hours 6 months before the marriage day😛 and myteriously knew this was the guy for me !!!!!

6 and 2-1/2

Did you work in India and if so what did you do there?

I worked as a teacher for a while when I was in 3rd year of my college and sometime after it. Then I opened my own parlour and ran it for almost three years till I got married.

What kind of books do and did you read - both now and growing up?

I love reading fiction and biographies. Normaly thrillers. While growing up I was very fond of historical fiction, my favourite being M.M kaye. But mysteries and fiction always topped my list of favs. As a kid I was totally taken up by Enid Blyton - Famous Five and then Hardy Boys. I found Nancy Drew somehwhat less adventurous and too girly !! 😆.

I am not into too philosophical books, but I love 'The Prophet' by Khalid Gibrail.

Yes, she too is a specimen of the same animal category that I belong to - the homo sapiens 🤡 She is the animated variety....However I'm afraid that's where the resemblance ends..

How do you keep your cool when somebody does not like the services you provided?

Hmnnn..it's a difficult thing to tackle. It's disheartening but the bottomline is that the customer is always right and I have to remember that. If someone has a reason to complain, then I have to listen and try to rectify it. I guess it goes with the territory. When I see that happening, I try to remember the good things that have been told to me and take comfort from them. Thankfully there haven't been too many incidents of that kind.

Two things we should remember in winter:

The skin dehydrates faster in winter as the pores get closed and the body tries not to release water to the surface to keep the skin surface warm; hence skin depends heavily on outer stumilants. Apply a lot of mositurisers. Keep a bottle of petroluen jelly handy, that's the best for skin in the winters. When washing face, add a tsp of giycerine to a mug of luke warm water. The skin will remain moisturised.

Drink water,lots of it. Avoid too much of tea and cofee, no matter how tempting.
