CHAPTER 48 b
Rukshar and Chotu went inside small house in the alley where they saw four men standing outside a room, one of them asked:
Who are you? Where is your i.d.?
Rukshar gulped and tried to say something but Chotu held her hand and said:
Don't you know, she is the famous painter Zoya Khan (he showed them her or should I say the real Zoya's business card)
The other guy: and who are you?
Ch: I am her bodygaurd
Ruk: and best friend
He looked surprised and nodded as if saying thank you, the guards let them in, Chotu opened the door and Rukshar went inside, Chotu followed after a few seconds
The guard: wait here, someone will come and get you
They both nodded and the guard left from there
Ch: thanks for calling me your friend
Ruk: always welcome
Sameer in the ear phone: stop it; you guys are undercover and not going for a picnic
Ruk+Ch: sorry (whispered)
A (in earphone): come on, Rathor, it's her first mission, don't forget that she is a doctor not a cop
Riya who was standing next to him was shocked to see the nice side of Arjun
R (in her mind): hey bhagwan, what is happening to Arjun sir? Looks like he is changing from Mr Jekkyl to Mr Hide. Angel I am in big trouble, why is he doing that?
S: whatever, guys hurry up, we have to finish the case tonight
Ch: yes sir
Sh (in earphone): doctor Rukshar, put the glasses on that I gave to you and push the side so we can see what's happening
Ruk: ok (she did as Shree had told her) can you see?
Sh: great
Sid: ok, as soon as the painting is revealed, we will head in with back up so don't worry doctor
Ruk: thanks Mr Sid (she whispered)
Sid: anytime but now we have to stop talking, looks like someone is coming
The guy: you guys are here for the painting auction? (Chotu and Rukshar both nodded) follow me
He took them to a room where more than 20 people were gathered, they were some painters and some buyers who bought for rich people, but the main culprit wasn't there yet, the team saw the whole scene from the camera's
The team was scattered in three, Shriza were with Samesha and some officers while Virman were with Ariya and some officers and Sidakshi were with other officers
R(in ear phone): o.m. goodness, these people are very rich and famous people
A: and how do you know that?
Ma: sir, she is a research specialist, she must have done some research
V: acha, I didn't know that, thanks for reminding me, miss know-it-all
Ma: the question was asked by Arjun sir and I gave my answer to him and not you, Mr I am-so-perfect
Ariya looked at Virman, Riya was thinking if they didn't stop it now, SAmeer might fire them again and this time permanently, and Arjun was thinking that he won't be able to impress Riya anymore
A: stop, that's enough (glared at them). By the way, I asked Riya and if I remember correctly you two aren't Riya (Manvi looked away and started concentrating on her tab), so Miss Mukerjee, how do you know that?
R: when Sakshi was busy printing out some aricles related to our case, I saw an article about stolen paintings and who the buyers were but they weren't able to catch them because there wasn't any proof that they bought it and they lied that it was a fake painting
A: very good looks like thanks to the other Mukherjee, you were able to get information
R: sir, are you complimenting me or taunting me?
Arjun came a little forward towards Riya so Riya had to bend a little:
Tumhe kya lagta? (What do you think?)
R: woh sir... woh (in her head come on Riya be brave) it seems like you are complimenting Sakshi and taunting me
A: so? (Teasing)
R: but sir I found the article
Virat who saw their interaction knew that if he didn't interfere know someone else might notice that they weren't paying attention to the case
V: Arjun, looks like the auction is starting
Arjun looked at Riya one more time then went to Manvi who watching the auction on her tab
Scene shifts to Samesha
Liza was giving water to Shree when Sameer suddenly got angry
S: damn it, why is the auction taking so much time? It's getting late
Ay: sir, calm down. They don't have to rush; they don't know that they are going to be raided
S: are you taking their side?
Ay (took a deep breath before talking): no sir, I am simply stating facts, because as Nadia I have been in many raids
SAmeer glared at Ayesha while she just ignored it so Shriza was looking at SAmesha who were not paying attention to the case, so they had to cough really hard
S: what? (Angry)
L (gulped): sir, the auction is starting
Sameer glared at Ayesha for distracting him from the case while Ayesha just went stand next to Liza
Scene shifts to Sidakshi
Siddarth was looking at the tab while SAkshi was looking at the stars; she was looking a little sad so he gave the tab to other officer and went to her
Sid: Sakshi, are you ok?
Sa: I am fine
Sid: then why are you looking sad?
Sa: just missing home and my friends but I am happy to be here because I have made many friends too and especially Riya (di)
Sid: Sakshi, I know it's very hard to come all the way alone. I know I miss my family everyday but coming to office and with my guddi makes me forget my sadness
Sa: I know but cant help it
Sid: if you need a friend to talk to I am always available
Sa: ok
The officer: sir, the auction is starting
Sid: chale?
Sa: sure
They both went to the officer and all the team members got ready at their position
precap: case solved and Virat and ARjun's talk
Note: the earphone was off at the time when the couples were talking (*Sakshi magic*)
after a long time update, i know that i am late, sorry for the delay,i know that it's short but next time i promise it will be a long update
for a while i wasnt able to write because of some issues, i will tell some other time
sorry for the delay
