PART 2:
At last the wedding day arrived. It was raining outside. It seemed that rain had every intention to cause a big flood. It stopped for two days but again started just before the day of Sangeet. Everybody was busy with preparations. Sameer was sitting in a corner watching everything. He didn't want to come. He didn't want to cause disturbance in this special day but he had to come. Just for Sakshi. Yesterday she went to Sameer's house. Sameer was very shocked seeing her there. Sakshi didn't waste her time in rubbish talk. She asked straight forwardly..
Flashback-
Sakshi: Sameer bhai tumne hi kaha tha ki tum mujhe apni choti behen mante ho kya yeh sach hai?
Sameer: Of course!!
Sakshi: Phir tum mere mehendi aur haldi ke function mein kiyu nehi aye?
Sameer became grim. He had no intention to hurt her. But he was helpless.
Sameer: Tum jante ho kiyu.
Sakshi came to stand in front of him and looked directly in his eyes.
Sakshi: Nehi janti. Batao.
Sameer: Sakshi main nehi ja saka. In fact main tumhari shadi mein bhi nehi javunga. Tum samajhti kiyu nehi?
Sakshi: Kya samjhum? Main khud jakar tumhe niwta dia. Phir bhi tum nehi aye. Arjun ne kuch kaha tumse?
Sameer hold her by shoulder and shook her a little.
Sameer: Pagal ho gyi hai kya? Arjun mujhse kuch kiyu kahega? Main khud nehi ana chahta. Main nehi chahta ki iss khushi ke mouke par main waha mojud rahu.
Sakshi took his hand in hers and squeezed tightly.
Sakshi: Sam bhai tumhe meri shadi mein ana hi hoga. Warna main shadi nehi karungi.
Sameer: Yeh kaisa bachpana hai Sakshi?
Sakshi: Maine jo keh dya so keh dya.
Sameer: Okay baba. Avunga. Aab khush.
Sakshi gave him her million dollar smile.
Flashback Ended
Now he is here. In her wedding. He watched as people roam here and there busily. Whole area had been decorated beautifully. Arjun was in the mandap. Sakshi was yet to come. Everybody looked happy. Somehow the scene took him to his wedding day.
Pandit ji was uttering some mantra. Arjun was sitting there in sherwani. He was very happy. At last he and Sakshi were going to be united. He smiled in mind. He still remembers the day he used to get irritated with her. She used to annoy him intentionally. And her bangles. Little by little his Miss Publicist made place in his mind. It took a little time but eventually he realized that he had fallen for her. He didn't want to delay. So, he directly proposed her for marriage. At first he was a little taken aback seeing tears rolling down from her eyes but when she hugged him saying yes he realized it were just the tears of happiness.
Pandit ji told to bring Sakshi in mandap. While waiting for her another memory came flooding his minds. The darkest day of his life. Trisha and Sameer's wedding day. Not only Arjun but seeing everything in front of his eyes Sameer also slipped into memory lane.
Flashback-
Sameer was sitting in the mandap. Arjun was standing beside him. Everybody was happy. Though they were little tensed. After what happened in Engagement day it took a lot of time to bring Trisha out of that shock and get her ready for the marriage. They hoped that everything will be fine. But fate had stored another storm for them. When pandit ji call for the bride some girls went upstairs to find Trisha. But the room was empty. They searched the whole house but Trisha was nowhere to be seen. When they couldn't find her they tracked her phone. It showed some place out of the city. Instantly they set out for that place. It took them one full hour to reach there. It was a deserted place. There was only one godown. They suspected that Trisha might be inside. They prepared themselves for the sight and went inside. They thought they will have to see Trisha the way they found her last time. But they were wrong. Whole godown was empty. Or nearly empty. A big transparent water tank was placed in the middle. Arjun and Sameer started searching the godown and ordered others to search outside. Sameer was searching here and there. After sometime he called Arjun but he didn't reply. He turned around to see am petrified Arjun standing before the water tank. Sameer went beside him and shook him by shoulder.
Sameer: Arjun tu yaah aise kiyu khada hai? Hamare paas waqt nehi hai. Jaldi chal hamein Trisha ko dhonda hai.
When Arjun didn't budge he followed Arjun's gaze. What he saw made him petrified too. Inside the tank was floating Trisha's body. She was in her bridal dress. Her jewelry was in right place. Her eyes were open. They were reflecting fear and immense pain. After few minutes Sameer came to senses and called other people. Together they brought out her body. Death couldn't snatch the beauty and innocence from her face. Sameer couldn't cry. He felt as if someone had throttled him. His chest felt tightened. His mind couldn't proceed with the fact. They took the body back home. Whole time Arjun and Sameer didn't talk nor did they cry. Trisha was orphan so her uncle was doing all the rituals. When the time came Arjun spoke up for the first time.
Arjun: Uncle aaj main aapse ek cheez mangna chahungi. Trisha jab iss dunya main ayi tab sabse pehle usse god main maine hi lya tha. Aaj jate jate main usse apne hi hatho se vidha karna chata hoom.
Mr. Rayzada just nodded but couldn't speak. Arjun came forward and put the fire on her face. After finishing all the formalities all went back to their respective place.
Sameer was in his garden. Thinking about the day. He couldn't go back to the house. He saw so many dreams with his Trisha. Hot tears found their way down there. Suddenly he heard someone banging the door. He went to the door and opened it. Their standing in the door was Arjun. His eyes were bloodshot.
Sameer: Arjun tu yaha?
Arjun: Ha. Main.
Sameer: Par iss waqt.
Arjun: Yaha kuch reh gya hai. Main usse wapas le jane aya hoom.
Saying that he went straight to his bedroom. Sameer was so taken aback that he couldn't even stop him. After few minutes he came back with Trisha's photo. Sameer couldn't bear any ore. He hold Arjun's hand to stop him.
Sameer: Arjun tu yeh kya kar raha hai? Pagal ho gya hai kya? Trisha ki photo tu kiyu le ja raha hai?
Arjun: Khabardar tu Trisha ka naam bhi apne muh mein nehi lyega. Meri Trisha aab iss dunya mein nehi hai sirf aur sirf teri waja se.
Sameer: Arjun tu yeh kaisi behki behki bate kar raha hai?
Arjun kept the photo aside and came to him. He held him by the collar and shook vehemently and shouted on top of his lungs.
Arjun: Inn sabka jimmedar tu hai. Uss Engagement ke din ki bad main tujhse kitni bar kitni bar kaha ki Trisha se bat karte hai. Usse unn gundoke bade mein kuch to pata hoga likin tum nehi mane.
This time Sameer also shouted.
Sameer: To aur kya karta? Uss ghatna se related choti si cheez dekh leti thi to usse panic attack aa jata tha. Aur yeh bat tu bhi janta hai. Bohot mushkil se usse khouf se ajad kya tha. Phir wahipe dhakelna nehi chata tha.
Arjun: Teri uss galti ki kamat usse apni jan se chukani padi Sameer. Main iss ke lye tujhe kabhi maaf nehi karunga. Kabhi nehi.
Flashback Ended
Some noises brought both of them out of their memory lane. Aisha and Liza stood their arguing with Sakshi's cousin about something. Sameer came forward.
Sameer: Kya bat hai Aisha? Liza? Kiss bat pe arguments chal raha hai?
Samaira one of Sakshi's cousins spoke up.
Samaira: Bhai Sakshi apne kamre mein nehi hai. Hamne har jyega chan mara likin woh hame kahi nehi mil rahi hai.
