Nice going...This uncle seems trouble to me...if I'm not wrong he left Karan in Rehab, right?

Love little K-R part. Karan's sixer on Rosh's bouncer, mindblowing...

Chapter 16

He again opened the drawer and took out the bundle.He looked at it carefully and then took a note from it.He kept the note in his pocket and closed the door.He held onto a confused

Roshni and led out from the house,through the same open window.

Both head back to their home silently.

Arjun parked his car in front of his house and both got down.Arjun looked lost in his own thoughts but Roshni didnt probe him further.It was late and both retired to their rooms.

Next morning Roshni woke up to find Arjun missing from the house.She called him a number of times but he didnt recieve the call.When it was almost time to leave to work and he still didnt turn up,Roshni called up Sam and asked him about Arjun.But Sam too didnt have any hint of his whereabouts.

A visibly tensed Roshni called him a few more times and finally cursing him for his ignorance,picked her bag to leave for work.She had closed the door and locked it,when Arjun finally turned up.

Arjun came to the door clad in a jacket,looking down lost in his thoughts.Roshni noticed him and waited at the door,blocking his way.Arjun looked up at her confused and frowned.Roshni started,

'kaha the tum?kabse phone kar rahi hu?phone uthane ki bhi tameez nehi hai tumhe?'she asked fuming at him,

'tum kaha ja rahi ho?'Arjun ignored her questions and asked her instead,

'matlab?Arjun mein tumhare liye wait kar rahi thi aur tum abhi mujhe puch rahe ho ki mein kaha jaa rahi hu?'

'Aj maat jao roshni,'

'kiya?tum kiya kehe rahe ho?'

'kuch pata chala hai,andar chalo,bata ta hu,Sam bhi abhi ayega,'

'Sam?per Sameer ne mujhe nehi bataya tum uske pass gaye the,'

'nehi gaya bas usse kaha ki reports leke ghar aa jaye,'

'kaise reports?'

'andar chalo batata hu,'

Roshni looked at him confused.Arjun took the keys from her and opened the door.Both went in and Arjun slumped on the sofa,removing his jacket.Roshni closed the door and sat beside him.

'kiya baat hai Arjun?'she asked concerned,

'Roshni,Mohan ka case forgery ka hai hi nahi,ye bohot bara mamla hai,'

'matlab?tum kaha gaye the?'

'Karan ke ghar,waha mujhe ek bhi jali documents nehi mile,kuch bhi aisa jo unke khilaf saboot ho,jo bhi saboot case files mein hai sare us bank manager se,'

'itne saal ho gaye.shayad hata diya hoga,koi ghar pe aise thori rakhta hai,'

'Roshni jise aadat hai,wo sirf ek aadmi ko ya kuch aadmio ko cheat nehi karega,he must have cheated many,lekin uske liye jali legal papers,bank papers,ek tukra bhi nehi mila uske ghar mein.Aur jiske pass itne paise the wo expensive decorations lagayenge ghar mein,aisa kuch nehi tha,bas zaroorat ka saman,ek aam aadmi ke jaise,'

'shayad shaq na ho is liye ..'roshni said,

'Shayad.Lekin apne bete ko to wo kuch luxury de sakte the na?specially jinke pass lakho rupaye the,'

Roshni frowned at him.Arjun took his jacket and got out a paper.

'ye dekho,mujhe ye pass book ka panna mila hai,'

Roshni took a look.It was the page of the passbook,it showed deposits of lakhs of money in the last year of use,thats about years back.

'Meine pata kiya,ye passbook us bank ka hai,jiske bare mein karan ko pata hi nehi tha,aur waha Mohan uske arrest se pehele aksar jaya karte tha,peon aur guard ne bataya,bohot puch tach bhi karta tha.Ek aur baat,mohan se pehele wo account Anand ke nam pe tha,ye dekho account details'

Roshni took the documents and looked at them.It was indeed in Anand's name but was transfered to Mohan's name two months before the case.Roshni was getting more confused when a ring at the door,alerted them.

Arjun opened the door for Sam and he entered thoughtful.

'tum sahi the Arjun,wo note nakli hai,ye lo reports,'

'nakli?kaunse notes?'roshni asked sam,

'wahi jo tum dono kal leke aye the,anand ke ghar se,'sam replied her sitting down,

'to kiya ye case..'roshni started,

'counterfeit currency ka hai,Mohan ya to isme involve tha,ya fir mohan iske khilaf tha,'Sam
replied her,

'isi liye use fasaya gaya,fir usne khud khushi kar li,'roshni exclaimed analysing,

'khudkhusi thi iski koi garantee nehi hai roshni,shayad mar diya gaya ho,aur khudkhushi dikhayi gayi,'sam mentioned,

'ho sakta hai,lekin isme kaun involve hai,ye pata kaise lagayenge?'roshni asked looking at both,

'anand se,use pata hoga,chalo uske ghar,'Arjun told and all three stood up.

They reached Anand's place.Sam waited at the car while Arjun and Roshni walked to the door and rang the bell.Anand opened the door after a long time.Anand looked at the two officers outside and made a face.

'kiya hai?bar bar kiyu ate ho?kiya hai yaha?'he asked irritated,

'wahi jo tum nehi chahte samne aye aur Mohan nirdos sabit ho,'Arjun said holding the door and walking inside followed by Roshni,

'kiya kehe rahe ho tum?bhaiya ko nirdos sabit karne ke liye meine kiya kuch nehi kiya,aur tum kehe rahe ho mein saboot chupa raha hu?'anand shouted at him,

'ise pehechante ho?'arjun asked holding the bank statement in front,

'ye bank statement hai kisi ka,ise mujhe kiyu dikha rahe ho?'anand replied with a shaking tone but kept his arrogance,

'ye bank statement mohan ke account ka hai,'arjun told him calmly,looking at him closely,

'ho sakta hai,isse mujhe kiya?'anand again retorted back,

'tumhara ye hai,ki ye account pehele tumhare nam pe tha,fir tumne ise mohan ke nam pe
transfer kiya,kiyu kiya transfer?'Roshni asked him,

'Mohan mera bhai tha,mein apna ek account usse transfer nehi kar sakta?isme itni bari baat kiya hai?'anand replied back,

'aur itne paise kaha se ate the uske pass?'arjun asked him,

'mujhe nehi pata,mujhe unhone kabhi nehi bataya,'

'Mohan ki patni ki shradh ke din ap dono mein jhgda hua tha,kis baat pe jhagda hua tha?'

'wo aise kisi baat hui hogi,mujhe yaad nehi,bhai tha wo mera,bhai o ke bich jhagda hota hai,isme itni bari baat kiya hai?'

'ap dono mein aksar jhagde hote the,'roshni told him,

'haan hote the,mere drinking ke bare mein pata tha unhe,isi liye kehete the,bara bhai hai,itna to haq hai use mujhe kehene ka,'anand told them,

Roshni was fuming inside and Arjun too kept glaring at him.But Anand didnt budge.He was scared but he was quick to hide it behind his irritation and arrogance.

'waise ap zyada income nehi karte fir itni mehengi painting kaha si layi?'arjun asked him,looking around the house.

'ye mujhe kisi ne gift diya tha,'

'kisne?'roshni asked him,

'apse matlab?diya tha kisi ne?'anand replied angrily,

'matlab ko apko bhi pata hoga,Mr Anand,'Arjun replied showing him the fake note.

Now Anand was cornered.He was scared.He understood he would be caught so he took a vase from the nearby table and hit Roshni with it.Roshni fell down and he ran towards the door.He opened the door and ran out in an instance of time but he didnt know there was someone waiting for him outside.

Sam was sitting inside the car when he heard roshni shout from inside and the door was opening.He instantly got out of the car and rushed towards the house and thus anand banged straight into him.Sam held him by his color and took him inside the house again,where arjun was standing at the door and Roshni behind him,holding her swollen arm.

Arjun punched him hard several times and he fell on the ground,with a swollen cheek and black eye.Sam held anand by his color and held him up.

'bata mohan ko kiyu fasaya?'sam asked him,

'meine kuch nehi kiya,wo to unhe pata lag gaya tha is jali notes ke bare mein,aur wo
investigate bhi kar rahe the.Galti se mere hi hato se karan ko ek jali note mil gaya tha.Jab bhaiya to pata chala to wo mujhse baat karne aye aur almirah mein jali note ki bundle dekh li.Meine unhe samjhaya aur paise ki lalaj bhi di,per unhe to hamesha se immandary ka bhoot chara hai,unho ne mujse jhagda kar liya aur police mein complain karne ki threat ki.

Tab aur koi chara nehi tha,mujhe apne boss ko batana para aur unki instruction se hum ne use fasaya.Wo bank manager ko paisa deke jali documents banaya aur witness bhi diya.Sab waise hi hua jaisa humne socha tha.Aur ye account bhi unke naam pe transfer kar diya,ki agar case ulaj jaye to hum ye evidence de sakte hai.Lawyer bhi mera tha,is liye wo case har gaya.Aur mohan ko jail ho gayi.

Karan nehi mana,apne baap ke jaisa ziddi hai.Peene ki lat laga di,firbhi nehi mana.Investigate kar raha tha.Last mein use dabane ke liye rehab bhejna para.Wahi meri galti ho gayi.Usne tum logo ko..''

'boss kaun hai tera?'Arjun asked him angrily,

'pata nehi,wo mujhe kabhi milta nehi,bas 'Under Ground Disco' mein maal chorke jata hai,jo mujhe raat ko jab party chalti hai,waha se uthake Alam tak pouchana hota hai,aur uske liye mujhe paise milte hai,'

'kaha milega ye Alam?'Sam asked,

'basti mein reheta hai,kiya karta hai mujhe nehi pata,'

Roshni punched him hard and he lost concious.Sam was about to call the police station but Arjun stopped him.

'nehi sam hume iske boss ko pakarna hoga,Roshni tum isse apne cell mein rakho,kuch bhi ek case bana dena,hume wo disco jana hoga,'Arjun instructed,

All nodded and took Anand along with them.Roshni pushed him inside the cell and filed a case against him,of abusing her on duty.

Sam and Arjun planned to raid the underground disco.The name itself reminded them of Payal's kidnap from the same place.It indicated that the disco was a place of a lot of illegal activities.But they still didnt have a proper proof and couldnt use Anand as it will alert them.

In Mohan's case even the police had foul played with the case.People like Shukla had always betrayed their duties and served for money.So they planned to raid undercover.

Karan was searching for Payal in the whole Rehab but she was no where to be found.Karan wanted to speak to Arjun about the progress of the case and wanted payal beside him,he didnt accept but her presence gave him strength to fight.

Karan roamed about the rehab looking for her,asked her friends,checked in the dining,garden,hall,the rooms,the conselleing areas but there was no sign of her.Karan was feeling frustrated and angry.He even shouted unnecessarily to some of the habitants of the place.He passed his fingers in his hair in annoyance,shouting her name and running about the place.

Finally he found her at the little temple built at a distance from the rehab.Surprised at himself,he felt relaxed,he knew then he was worried for her.He stepped towards her.
She was sitting there,her hands folded,with her scarf covering her head,eyes closed praying.

Karan had almost stopped believing in the almighty from the time his father was proved guilty.But the sight in front of him made him trust the almighty.Yes it was destiny that he came in this rehab and met her.He was somewhere getting a vibe that his father would get his rightful justice this time.

He kept admiring the beauty in front,when she opened her eyes and sensed his presence,and looked at him.He couldnt take his eyes off her and kept looking.He knew he was falling for this lady.The thought itself gave a jerk and he came out of his thoughts.

''karan,kiya hua?kab se bula rahi hu,'

'kiya kar rahi tu yaha??kab se dhoond raha hu mein,aisa koi bina bataye ata hai?'

'karan mein bacchi nehi hu,kho nehi jaungi,'

'tujhe mein khone bhi nehi dunga,'karan replied with a soft tone,

Their eyes met at this and they again felt the tingling feeling inside.Both trusted the other to find them in case they were lost,but none accepted their feelings.Payal could see concern and care in his gaze but she was afraid to fall in love and lose again.She broke the eye lock and looked away.Karan sensed her hesitance and lighten the situation,

'tu kho jayegi to mein tang kise karunga?'

'karan..'she started hiting him which he effectively dodged,

'waise tu inhe kiyu pareshan kar rahi thi?'

'wo tumhare papa ke innocence ka suboot mil jaye,wahi kehe rahi thi,'

Karan was again lost in her assuring smile and her love filled eyes.He wanted to hold her in his embrace protecting her from the outer world,keeping her safe with him.But he too was afraid of losing as he has lost everything in his life.He came back when he felt a tug at his arm.Payal was pulling him to sit down beside her.

'kiya hai?'he asked kneeling down beside her,

'hath joro aur chalo pray karo,'she ordered,

'mujhe ye sab nehi ata,'he said irritated,

'uff ho isme ane wali kaunsi baat hai?'she said and took his hands and joined them,'aise rakho aur pray,hmm'she gestured him,closing his eyes with her palm,

Karan didnt want to but he felt good.He prayed with her and quickly got up.

'ab chalo tere hitler bhai ko phone karna hai,'

'hitler bola tumne?ruk karan,'

And the usual chase started again.
