Coming to the topic, i want to make one thing clear at first. I haven't watched the episode yet. But from what i've read, i pretty much got the concept of the episode. I've never ever understood how "showing" the modus operandi of a crime will help in stop someone from doing the same. Someone who has a heart to think that "ok it's cruel" will never has the guts to do it. Unfortunately people who enjoy watching such stuff may actually get encouraged by watching such gruesome scenes onscreen. But that is my POV.
The recent change in story line , ie, the serial killer series, is indeed a warning signal to all of us fans. Creatives usually bring in such topics when they are out of ideas. And the standard of recent episodes shows us the same. Even me who have never missed an episode of arjun didn't feel like watching the episodes this weekend. It also is due to the fact that i'm an ardent fan of behzaad. The frame looks incomplete without him.
Continued in the next post.

very well said 👍🏼
well it wasnt exactly the "showing the modus operandi of a crime"... the representetation of the crime scene came out like that.
like u said... an evil mind will always work in an evil way... it can find its way from small & big thing... be it a crime show, saas bahu show, news paper or the from the exclusive reports and footages from each and evry news channel...
so putting everything on a single crime show wont help much...
its my pov.

This is swathi again.
About shree not being able to judge that the killer is lurking behind him. I guess that was a plot developed by the cv's to show the care arjun has for his teammates. It also may be due to the poor health condition that the actor who plays shree is going through. The plot may have been developed in such a way that shree gets a week's rest. Also in recent episodes cv's have made sure that there is one such scenewhich is kind of an "arjun show off". Asking the creatives to make every member behave like they actually belong to nation's best investigation team is like banging our head on the walls. At times they make the whole team act like kintergarden students just to make arjun look intelligent. I've given up any hopes on getting an episode which would stick to the promises that the creatives made when the show was launched.
I love the show to the core and may be that is why i don't like it when the show stoops to such levels. It is my love for the show that has actually made me write this essay. I want the show to continue forever ( with behzaad aka rathore returning to the show ofcourse). Sorry if i have hurt anyone.

Thanks.
I know that a single episode won't create much of an impact. But what i've read, the actor who played the role of the psycho yesterday did his job so brilliantly that every member in the forum wanted him to be killed of the hands of arjun. If he can create such an impact on the "peace loving" people of the forum think about how it would impact the wicked souls. I'm referring to all such shows which brings such cruel realities on tv.
My pov.

There was a time when i used to skip every other work to catch this show. But now a days i catch the episodes i missed when i have nothing - literally nothing - else to do. But i haven't missed any episodes so far. I guess i'll have to give this weekend's episodes a miss because from what i've read i didn't find these episodes worth watching. This surely is danger signal for the show.

well i believe that the peace loving people of this forum are talking about the reel character 😊 the superb acting made that impact ... i am not sure about their reaction for such kind of real life event...
and the fact is they want the wrong one to die !!!! ydays episode also showed that the brutal & sick murderer must die.without having a second chance.
so the wicked soul must realize that this kind of act will only bring his/her end.but again... one single show can never repair all sick minds.

true.
they must work on their script.
Behzaad 😭 ... i dont know whether he will comeback or not ... but the makers must think about a solution... Sameer Rathore is a very imp character... they cannot just make him disappear like that...
all i can do is to pray for our show...
i cannot just stop watching it 😭

Well, Tina, this is good as a first step, but let us see what they are going to do about it. Discussing it with people who say there is no harm in it at all as it is meant to heighten revulsion against the murderer is not going to get me anywhere.

No, Swati, he did not play his role brilliantly. He was a ham of the first order, full of mannerisms and ticks.

As for my episode analyses, my dear, those ended in Dec last!

No, Vidya, I am not back in the forum except to comment on your Saaya and a few other FFs.This is a one off exercise. Probably pointless, I agree, but I had to get it off my chest.

I am also being educated. There was one member in Forum 32 who said the episode could have been made by nuns, and there was nothing titillating about it at all. It takes all sorts to make the world, I guess!

Hello Aunty, good to see you back in Arjun forum!

yes, the episode or of late many episodes are high on this kind of violence..
For me the worst was the auto driver's case...

And yesterday, the villain was damn scary...and his mode of killings were horrible...
It was surely not something kids can see...I too found that entire scene about the rape really horrible! I was surprised when they showed that because I was told that starplus never allows such things onscreen!

But honestly, i didnt think about all such angles...I mean, I get the TV all for myself when I watch Arjun and so I never thought about this...
What troubled me more was the possibility of birth of such a psycho due to childhood problems...the magnitude of that just blew me out!

*****************

I had long back thought that such crime series must be shifted to a late night slot like the others...may be 10 Pm or so...
I had suggested the same to Gorky sir in the hangout as well!

Having said that, I am glad you reported that to Forum 32 and didnt go as per your previous plan...
I dont know what else to say because I love this show so much and hence sometimes, i fail to notice the flaws!
