Haiyla complicated love story.. but then love stories are always complicated.
But now Aisha is Sameer's wife and they have daughter named Dia...And Mausami is missing...and Arjun is waiting for her..Poor Arjun...

Loved all Aisha-Arjun convo...Playful Arjun is always a treat to read!

Chapter 7A ' Two faces of Relationships

PAST

"You know, you are attracted to her, Arjun' s Bumble Bee"

"Really Mau , is she good enough for me "

"Good Enough, I can't say but yes she really is the one who could get the worst out of you but then again sometimes it's necessary to see the worst to appreciate the present"

"Should I be worried now Mau , my girlfriend comes back to meet me after 3 months and talks about my collogue and doesn't ask how was I , Ouch it hurts"

"Sam, you are just way too much. I could see you are well taken care of "

"Oh yes , the chemist will be happy as my Asprin intake increased thanks to her , you know sometimes I fell that my head is in constant state of pain since the time she has arrived in ETF . She really can't listen to me , always has to disobey and now Arjun has also joined her . It is task to get the work done , trust me Mau one of the coming days I'll lose my hair on it "

"Oh No Sam, I love you zulfein . I'll make sure to give you my special adrak wali chai , all worries will evaporate "

"Ms Maushami Chatterjee , I am not easily satisfied with just Tea"

"Let's see, if you will be a bad boy, then maybe it's your lucky day" and she winked at him

"Bad boy, wrong quote Mau , I am the Good one it was Arjun the bad one . Damn It! He always used to get into trouble for everything and anything but he stopped realizing that Arjun was a forbidden topic in midst them. Neither he could remove him nor neither could they stay with him. In the past 2 years of their relationship he had observed the interactions between both of them. In the beginning he was surprised at the formal behavior from both of them. He wanted His Girlfriend and his best friends to be friends at least but they behaved like acquaintances. He didn't see Arjun so aloof and so rigid with anyone and a girl never ever. Women loved him and he loved them. He remembered his college girlfriend, Arjun used to tease them but with Mau there was no teasing only taunting. Being an police officer he didn't take him much time to understand that there was something. He knew that they both had already met and fought at his birthday party and then fought again every time else they had crossed each other paths. That won't be the only reason for such formal behavior between the two and it was confirmed one evening when Sameer was busy and Arjun had to pick Mau up. They had met few drunkards one of them had tried to hurt Mau which resulted in such rage that Arjun would have killed him if not for the passer byes.

He had planned to surprise them but what he saw shook him to the core , Arjun was in love with Mau and he knew Arjun enough to understand that it was any fling or a passing affair like he had in past . It was much more serious but shook him more was the look on Mau face , she looked at Arjun with no emotions but a pang of pain flashed on her face vanishing before he could even blink his eyes .

It was that Day and now that everything regarding the trio was out in open but yet no one had the courage to accept or deny it. It was the unspoken truth between the trio and every time they were together, it was tested. He never had any doubt cross his mind for they were loyal to him and loved him maybe more than he loved them and the other truth was that thy both loved each other too only the intensity was yet to be realized by one of them

He came back from his thoughts and saw Mau looking outside the window lost in her own battles. Maybe it wasn't the time yet for her to face it.

"You coming to ETF was a surprise , hopefully the trip wasn't bumpy "

"Not Bumpy I had planned to come sooner but then changed, anyhow what were you doing in the office on Sunday. I thought you would meet us after the meeting "

"Asprin hadn't completed her paper work and I had specially called her to office on that , but then couldn't trust her and had to keep an eye on her"

"Oh My God Sam, Are we in school now that you had to keep an eye on her "

"You really don't her Mau , sometimes I fell like keeping a stick with me every time I see her "

"Poor Her "

"Poor Me

"What kept you busy?"

"Nothing much I just slept "

"Hmm "

Few hours before

Mau and Arjun had just left the airport when it had started raining. She always used to love rains thus when it started she couldn't help herself and giggled like a kid feeling the rain drops on her , that what these drizzles used to do to her . But her giggles were short lived as she could see the autos and taxis on the road. Though they were few in number due to early morning but it meant that Arjun had lied to her 'Arghh How much she hated him

"You lied to me Arjun "

"Sorry can't hear you was the reply "

She the smirk on his face and was super pissed , but then the next moment she shouted so bad that Arjun had to stop the bike mid way just to shut her up

"What the hell Shama "

"Why the hell did you lie "

"Why the hell did u piss me off "

"Well you pissed me first by keeping your shoes on the table"

"No Shama , you pissed me off first by'You just piss me off always without even trying I guess"

"I am going to take a taxi rom here but not go with you "

" Miss Maushami Chatterjee , I have scarified my Sunday morning sleep because of you and I am already angry at that , secondly u pissed me at the airport so now don't do anything further that could really make me do something that you will regret . Sit back and let me deliver you to Sam safely and there with him you can throw all your tantrums. These not gonna work with me lady.

She climbed back to the bike and said "Just because of Sam "

He replied the same "Just because of Sam "

The sentence was same but its implications were different. Shama would have gone out from their lives but she knew that Sam loved her, Not the filmy ones but loved her enough to keep her happy whereas on the other hand Arjun had just held back himself because of Sam. If there was any other person in his place he would have fought for his love but not against him.

They had resumed their journey and as they were nearing there destination it started raining heavily. They needn't any guess to realize that now thy will be stuck in traffics. Inspite of having a bike and moving through the narrow lanes and by lanes they reached the familiar looking apartment completely drenched and worn put. Arjun had told her that they will leave after changing.

She stepped into the familiar walls and sighed ' there wasn't any place like home . Even, Arjun presence didn't bother her, she had learned to live with. She saw him heading towards the kitchen and went in San room to change. When she came out a glass of tea was waiting for her and she knew it would be just the way she liked it but Arjun was nowhere to be seen.

A hot cup of tea was the trigger was all that was required by her , and when she woke up she knew that already 3 hours were past since they had come . Arjun was in the balcony in his black tracks and was talking to phone of someone and smiling .One of the most genuine smiles she had seen which were reserved only for his few close friends. For everyone he was the show stopper for any party , the man who could lighten any serious mood with his talks but he smiled from his heart only when he was with Sam but today that smile was for someone else too and it made her wonder that who had managed to become so important to him. Lunch as usual was silent affair between them and soon thy had left towards the ETF office

The sight there had shook her too core and she saw a Girl throwing a jacket back at Sam and he offering her a ride back. She knew that Sam was a true gentleman but something about his stance told her that a part of him wanted her. He was standing next to her just close enough to hold her and yet there was distance that was the barrier. She wasn't surprised when varied emotions crossed across his face on anger, frustration, and disappointment. She saw Arjun walking towards her andvola she was His Bumblebee. It seemed that Arjun had aptly named as her she was buzzing with energy . She too was shocked to see her but then a smile had erupted on her face when she saw Arjun and she knew that she was the one to make him smile on that phone call.

Something told her that things will change and that had led her to speak her heart to Sam about his attraction. He hadn't denied it nor had had he accepted it.

She saw the familiar Looking building in front of her ' she came with someone else and she goes in with someone else. That was the irony of her life. She needed both Sameer and Arjun for as long as she lived.

Sam had to attend a Phone call thus his drifted his way towards the balcony. She saw him from the corner of his eyes and she knew no matter what had happen this man would with her forever and always. He was honest, charming and trust worthy. No wonder she had fallen for him as he breezed his way in her life just like his name

She held him from behind resting her face on his shoulder and could feel his body relaxing but the next moment she had his lips claiming her. They were not aggressive on her but yet urgent enough.

What had started from the balcony and finally reached his destination and she was wrapped in his arms by then end of it .That was what she had missed , this moment with him and every thought flowed out of her mind

"When are you heading back "

"After your birthday Sam"

"And the next assignment is at "

"She took a deep breath and said Naxalbari and for 3 days atleast"

He sat up "You really know how dangerous is that place Mau and still you want to go there"

"Sam , it's the only opportunity to interview their leader and I really don't wanna miss it .I will be back within 3 days I promise "

"3 days only "

"Yes just three days and they both slept peacefully listening to each other heart beat unaware of what destiny awaited for them

Chapter 7B ' Two faces of Relationships

Past

Arjun parked his bike and both of them headed towards Ayesha apartment. He was just entering the her apartment when something soft hit his feet and next moment he heard barks'.

He eyes went down to a pug who was staring him with anger and he laughed at him

"Bumblebee, you really think this small little thing can save you "

"Don't underestimate the power of Pedo , he can be really angry"

"Oh Yes, I am so scared 'did you see me shaking with fear "

"OP you are way too much seriously. He is my neighbor's dog but yes sometimes he is good enough to save me from evil eyes "

"Bee, I have eyes on you trust me nothing evil"

"Puhleassseee OP, I know better. Now get in and get your tea and stop making me mad "

"And I thought you were already mad "

"Mr Arjun Rawte, out of my house now" and she started pushing him towards the door but he countered them well and managed to seek entry in her house closing the door behind.

"Finally U came in "

"You see Bee, Loosing isn't in my dictionary"

"Yes I loose , OP..U are unbeatable.

They didn't what started the conversation but by the end of it both were laughing so hard that their stomach hurt and eyes were watering .They had discussed about anything and everything .What had started as just a cup of tea was now carried forward to dinner .

"Why The hell Am I supposed to cut the onions Bee"

"Crying is good for you OP, Eyes Saaf rehngi isse, Vision clarity"

"Bee, my vision is all clear but really I can't cut these onions anymore "

Even with all the cribbing's and tantrums both had managed to cooked decent meal. Only when they both had settled on the couch and were silent for some time, Ayesha popped the question she wanted to ask him the first time she had laid her eyes on that girl.

Ayesha POV

She had seen Arjun entering with a girl which was normal but the way Beast behaved with her astonished her he hasn't seen him that soft with anyone. She was working with him for long as his affection towards someone else had amazed her. What amazed her more was the reaction of the men standing with her? She hadn't see Arjun stance so rigid ever with anyone and the lady killer he was there was something a miss there. The lady on the other hand was far more mysterious as her eyes gave away nothing neither but were rather cold or hostile towards OP. The moment she saw Beast they were warm but replaced by confusion which were actually mirrored in her eyes as both ladies didn't know about each other but both the men knew about them. When Arjun had pulled her towards him she had seen the forlon look in his eye and then from the corner of his eyes she had seen Arjun looking towards the girl in Beast Arms

"So that Girl is Beast girlfriend then "

"Yes , Maushami Chaterjee , that her"

"Didn't look so fond of you though "

"Yes , Me and Shama have issues "

"Shama, Ahann now that a nice nick name for her Op"

"Yes it , Suits her "

"Shama, kahan aag laga di ussene that you named her that "

"In my life" he mumbled to herself but the cop's ears were fast enough to catch it

"You love her don't you", It wasn't a question rather a fact that she had laid out in front of him , not knowing that he had been living with this fact from past years

"I do Ayesha, I really do "

"And she is with Beast , why didn't you move on Arjun"

"Moving on isn't that simple Ayesha, You think I haven't tried but I can't .Something always hold me back towards her"

"It's just attraction Arjun, you just need to realize it. They only last for few moments and then vanish "

"Ayesha, Sometimes it's all it takes is just a moment to change everything around us. It's not what you wanted in life ever but yes after that moment that's the only thing which could make you happy .Life changes in seconds or maybe just in a dance "

He knew that he had hit the correct nerve as Ayesha suddenly had become vulnerable and fidgety.as if her secret was revealed. He walked up to her taking small steps and pulled her up in his arms .His eyes never left hers and there wasn't any question or a struggle in her. He knew what she was going through, she needed a distraction but how could he let her know that distractions doesn't work every time. Acceptance does!

He laid her down gently on the bed and went to close the lights of the room. It was only the moon light which was illuminating the room but more beautiful was the lady who just had her eyes on him trying to figure out his every move.

He joined her in the bed and looked into her eyes once just to see any hesitance, nothing was there. He smiled at her and kissed her forehead and pulled her to him .

"Sleep Ayesha, I am there "

She finally slept in his arms knowing that his secret would be safe and there was someone who was with her always and forever.

Arjun waited for her to be in deep sleep before moving out of her bed and headed towards the beach. He had no idea about the time he spent in gazing the starts above but his heart felt lighter. Talking with Ayesha had definitely helped to lighten the burden of his heart but the guilt still remained there ' That he loved his best friend, no Sam was his brother ' He loved the one he loved and both of them had to stay with this fact maybe all life long .

On the other side of the town Sameer was also in guilt , loving the same women which Arjun did was beginning to take a toll l on him .There was a part of him which wanted to let Mau go and let destiny take its own course but then call it selfishness of him he always held her back. He wanted to be loved but had never imagined that love with come at such a price for him. Seeing Arjun becoming more and more reckless hurted him but he had always masked it with anger of the ETF chief but now he could bear that anymore. The only solace that Ayesha could tame him ,he never knew when or how but she also wheeled her way in the already complicated triangle of theirs

Maybe it was Time to let go of things and await what is in store for them. He had a to give a chance to Mau to choose for her not thinking if anyone of them would get hurt in the process, It was the time now for her to be selfish.
