Part-4

One n a half hour later,
Sector-20,
Chandigarh,

"Thanks a lot Sir..." said Samar, as he thanked his Sir and left for his destination.

He parked the car in the parking lot, and was almost going to step out of the car, when he found her sitting on the passenger seat.

She looked at him and flashed her dimpled smile,

"Mujhe miss kar rahe ho na?"

He nodded in +ve.

"Uff! Iss husn ka mein kya karun? Woh kya hai na...ik baar jo Akira ko dekh lei...bas...phir woh zindagi bhar ke liye Akira ka deewana ho jaata hai..."

"Tum waapis kyun nahin aa jaati?" he asked her.

"Mare huye log kabhi waapis nahi aate..." she replied.

Suddenly,

"Papa, aap kiche baatein kal lahe ho?" asked Nihu, innocently.

He looked at Nihu and then back at the passenger seat. She wasn't there...

Akira...Akira Coelho...His Akira...wasn't there...

He got out of the car, picked Nihu in his arms, and left for a particular restuarant to meet his Dustin Sir...and Nihu's nanu...

Yes...DIG Dustin Coelho was the only person, who knew about his locations from the last two years. From the last two years, these secret meetings were the only way, he met him and Nihu...Not even his parents were aware of his locations...they were always informed that he was on a secret mission...but the reality was totally different...he resided in Shimla...with Nihu...and worked as a Science teacher in a private school...

Few minutes later,
Inside the restaurant,

"Arey, Nihu toh kitni badi ho gayi hai..." said Coelho, as Nihu giggled in his Nanu's arms.

He then made her sit, next to himself, as he looked at the person sitting in front of him,

"Kaise ho Sameer?"

He just passed him a weak smile,

"Theek hi hunn Sir...aap kaise hain? Priya mam kaisi hai?"

"Woh bhi theek hai...par...Nihu ko bahut miss karti hai..."

"Karenge hi...itni pyaari bachi hai..."

"Hunh...Nihu meri beti hai...sweet toh hogi hai..."
"Akira, tumhein galatfehmi bahut hoti hai...sweet pakka uske mom ya dad thay...tum nahi...you and sweet? (chuckles)"
"Shut up Sameer! Kya matlab hai tumhara? Tum yeh kehna chahte ho ki mein sweet nahi hunn?"
"Kuch aisa hi samajh lo..." he replied her, as he left the dining table, smiling.

Meanwhile,
In Shimla,

Aayesha reached the reception area of the hotel.

She had a mission to accomplish. Mission to get ACP Sameer Damsingh Rathore back! Unaware of the fact that he wasn't going to get back to ETF...

She walked out of the hotel, as she disappeared in a lane, to find about him.

In Chandigarh,
An hour later,

"Sir, I guess humein nikalna chahiye..."

"Kyun? Matlab...aage toh tum log Monday ko bhi rukte ho na?"

"Yes Sir lekin kal school mein tests conduct karne hain...toh...Vaise...baaki sab kaise hain?"

"Hmm...sabko itna yaad karte ho toh waapis kyun nahi aa jaate Sameer?"

"Wohi toh possible nahi hai Sir...(sighs) Arjun kaise hai? Aayesha? Shree aur Chotu?"

"Sab theek hain...lekin tumhein bahut miss kar rahe hain...aur..."

"Aur?"

"Arjun-Aayesha shaadi kar rahe hain..."

"Hmm...great...(after a while)..Sir ab hum log nikalte hain..."

The gentleman bid each other good-byes, as Nihu kissed her Nanu and jumped into her father's arms.

'Sameer...please get back...' said Coelho to himself, as he wiped the corners of his teary eyes.

Half-an-hour later,
SamNihu,

Nihu, was busy chirping, talking to her dad continuously, with Sam replying to her cute questions and smiling.
His smile disappeared, when Nihu asked her regarding Akira,

"Papa, apne toh kaha tha ki mumma waapis aa jayengi...woh ni aayi...kyun?"

He had no answer! He never ever told her that her mother was no more...

That manhoos day...utterly manhoos day...😭
ETF was busy working on a case, when Shree switched on the LCD, and the news flashed :
'Breaking news yeh hai ki Bangalore se Mumbai aane waali Air India ki flight ki crash landing huyi hai Mumbai Airport ke runway par...jismein 166 logon ki jaan chali gayi hai...aur 78 logon ko gambhir haalat mein...nearby hospitals mein admit karvaya gaya hai...kaha jaa raha hai ki unn 78 logon mein...ETF ki ik sadasya bhi shaamil hai...'
Suddenly, Sam's cell started ringing,
"Saab, mein Shinde...saab...Akira madam ki haalat bahut kharab hai...unko Fortis lekar jaa rahe hain saab...saab aap jaldi aa jayie..."
His phone escaped his hand, and fell on the ground, as he picked up the SUV keys and rushed out of the office.
He drove like a maniac...just for her...He didn't wanted to loose her at any cost...only a week back, he had confessed his feeling to her...She, him n Nihu...made a picture perfect family...
He stopped the SUV in front on the Premises of Fortis healtcare and rushed inside,
"ACP Akira Coelho?" he enquired the receptionist.
"ICU Sir..."
He asked for the directions, and entered the ICU.
She tried to lift her arm, as he marched towards her and grabbed her hand, and sat next to her...
"Akira...don't worry Akira...Akira kuch nahi hoga tumhein..."
"Sam...humari Nihu...Humari Nihu ka...ka khayal rakhna..." she said, as she closed her eyes for eternity...
He looked at the doctor...The doctor nodded in -ve and left the ICU...

The whole flashback, moistened his eyes...

'Akira...Akira please waapis aa jao...Akira mere liye na sahi...lekin Nihu ke liye hi sahi...waapis aa jao...'

super top update yr...
so the girl is akira and she is dead... :'( :'( feeling bad for both sam and nihu...
him imagining akira and talking to her was lovely... very emotional...
but why is aisha searching for sam?? and why is sam staying away from everyone??
continue soon... eagerly waiting for the next part...
