Chapter 4B
After the whole interrogation, Arjun and Riya went to check on Shree. Shree was in the main security room and was visualising every videos between midnight and early this morning. Unfortunately the corridor leading to the PM's master bedroom didnt have any surveillance installed. So this also leaded to no big clues, except after midnight Shree could see Renuka going around in the hall a few times, and also the mother-in-law going to the kitchen and going out with a glass of milk. He at times saw Mr Karti going on around for his normal check. This also led to a dead link.
Finally Arjun called onto Rathore and Chotu to know what new had happened from their part, but from their side also, nothing wrong had happened. Nothing suspicious had been observed either from their side. Rathore called everyone back in the room Mr Karti provided to them for a meeting.
"Rawte, i'm telling you this is only a suicide! Nothing suspicious has been observed! Noone suspicious have come inside! Noone suspicious has been captured by the CCTV system! What more do you need to just classify this as a suicide!" Rathore told to Arjun.
"Nahin Rathore, yahan kuch to hua hein! Ham jho dek rahe hein, iske agee bhi kuch hain jo chut raha hein!" Arjun said while doing a mental recap of everything he had found till now.
"Please Rawte, keep your mind guessing out! How can you say clearly it's not a suicide?! And stop answering me in riddles! Saaf saaf kaho kya kehana hein!" Rathore said with irony.
"Well till now all the clues we got led to only one thing, the murderer is someone from inside! The only people having a motive for killing Mrs Simi, are the mother-in-law who hated her because of caste issue and Renuka who hated her because of her dead fiance. And also the earring was recognised by Renuka, though she didnt accept it! The rest maybe we are missing something really important, cause these two ladies are not enough strong to force Mrs Simi to kill herself!" Arjun said.
"Then why do you still think its suicide?" Rathore asked.
"Well she was getting ready for Karva Chauth, so how come she'd commit suicide on that specific date? And why? She was not depressive at all, nor did she have any drugs or drinking problems!" Arjun replied back. There was something which was troubling him a lot about what Miss Renuka had said during the interrogation.
He turned towards Shree and asked him to get all the information he could on Miss Renuka dead fiance, and "Hain, did you find anything from their call records or bank accounts?"
"Nothing suspicious Sir, except PM's mother and sister used to spend lots of money. Mrs Simi didnt have any doubtful transactions, and she also didnt receive any calls from unknown numbers! So nothing there either Sir," Shree said.
"Rawte, i'm telling you that its suicide! You are making us waste our time for no reason!" Rathore said angrily.
"Nahin Rathore, koi humse kuch chupa raha hein! Shree get out everything about that dead fiance and let me know as soon as you can, and while you can check also the background of everyone working here! Rathore humne ek admi ko interrogate karna bhool hi gaye!" Arjun remembered suddenly.
"Kisse?" Rathore asked perplexedly.
"The main security officer, Mr Karti. He must know more than anyone about this family. Let's call him!" Arjun said.
Arjun asked Chotu to go and bring Mr Karti here for some questions.
