It is almost 12 o'clock at midnight… Arjun was little tired and sleepy… Riya took out thermos… and put tea in to cup and offered to Arjun… Arjun was surprised… and staring her for few seconds…. he got sweet smile on his face and drank it… now he was thinking how Riya knows what he needs, and she was always there whenever he needs her… she is the one after Roshni and Tee who knows when and what he needs without saying a word… he was feeling comfortable with Riya now… he asked Riya, "yeh chai tum kaha se lai ho?" riya replied, "who meine ghar se bnakar lai hun… who bahut lamba safar hai to socha ki…" she replied with smile…. he remembered Roshini's words "zindagi ka safar bhi ajeeb hota hai … apne jivan sathi ke sath chalne se safar asani se kat jata hai aur manzil mil jati hai… bina jivan sathi ke safar khatam hi nahi hota… ho shakta hai safar mein apne jivan sathi se bichhad bhi jao par… jivan mein se sathi ke chale jane ke baad bhi jivan ka safar khatam nahi hota… ACP Rawte… ho sakta hai apne safar khatam karne ke liye tumhe dusare sathi ki bhi zarrorat pade… samje ya samjaoon"… Arjun replied "Roshni tumhari is philosophy wali bate meri samaj mein nahi aati"… "samaj jaoge… ek din" Roshni replied… now Arjun understood what was Roshni trying to say to him…. He came back to reality and said to himself, "nahi… tum mujhe bahut hi achche se janane lagi ho Riya…jo mujhe bilkul pasand nahi hai... yeh theek nahi hai… khas kar tumhare liye… mujhe hi tumse duri banai rakhni hogi… kyun ki yehi sahi hoga… mere liye aur tumhare liye bhi… ..woh jeevan sathi jo chhod ke chala jata hai uski jagah koi nahi le sakta hai…koi nahi… kabhi nahi.. Roshni" he said in his mind…
Arjun asked Riya to take out CD from the drover and play it… he also told her, "yeh mere college ke dino ki hai… jab bhi hum bahar jate the to isiko lagate the… aur zor zor se yeh song gate hue jate the… hum teeno ka favorite song hua karta tha…Roshni ke aane ke baad yeh uska bhi favorite song ban gaya tha…" Riya was happy that atleast today Arjun shared his feelings with her…. But she was little curious after hearing "hum teeno" she wanted to ask Arjun about who are these there friends but she didn't ask… she didn't want to ruine this so…Riya play that CD, a song was played, "yuhi kat jayega safar sath chalne se… ke manzil ayegi nazar sath chalne se..." all the beautiful time that he had spent with Roshni, Rathod and Tee came in front of his eyes… Arjun looked at Riya, who was listening the song by closing her eyes… after sometimes Riya fell in to sleep and her head slides to Arjun's shoulder… Arjun thought to wake her up…but there was something that had stopped him… she was becoming more important day by day… … Riya was affecting him…he didn't want to see her in pain, or in trouble this is why he is behaving so rude and mean to him… he was also thinking that he would do unjustice to Roshni … however roshni wanted Arjun to moved on his life… he is not accepting the reality, and kept himself in the past….
Othe other hand Tee was crying in her room… her eyes were red and swollen… she got up and went to her closet and opened it… took out some photo graphs… she was looking at photos and cried… there was her college days photo with Arjun and Sammer, another one with Arjun and Roshni's wedding… she found one photo of all four of them together… and then she opend a photo album… it was her family album… her father, mother, brother and herself… tears fell from her eyes, she said, "aap logo ki bahut yaad arahi hai masa… hume plz maaf kar dijiyega"…she went to flashback..How great days were those with her mother and father… she remembered all her childhood memories to the day she left her house… she still remembered that her bapusa had said, "nikal jao hamari ankho ke samne se…koi rishta nahi hai tumse.." and he went inside his house… and Tee left her house … till that day she never been to her home nor Rajasthan… this is the reason she didn't want togo to rajasthan… she still didn't have courage to face all of them… her village is closer to Rathod's place…
Next day in the morning around 9 o'clock… ETF team stopped on some "dhaba"… everyone ordered tea and something to eat… Rathod, Shree, Chotu and Arjun washed their face with water from jug in that dhaba… when chhotu offeref water to Riya… she made her face and said "nahi chahiye… thank you chhotu"… after that somebody offered her bottle of water… it was Arjun who brought water bottle and pack of chips… he offred to Riya… Riya, Shree, and Chhotu were surprisingly looking at Arjun… Shree said surprisingly, "are yeh kya hua, kaise hua, kab hua, kyon hua, jab hua, tab hua, oh chodo, yeh na socho yeh kya hua…par ye registan mein yeh gulab kaha se khil gaya"… looking at riya he said, "Ri ek raat mein aisa kya kar diya tune…jo yeh…" Riya told shree and chhotu to be quite… Rathod listend all of these but he wasn't surprised… he knew how his best friends felt… what he was going through right now… dual feelings… Arjun's life is more miserable than his own… he wanted to tell him to forget his past and moved on his life but he didn't interfere in Arjun's life becoz he thought he had lost that right to tell him after that horrible night… "Woh manhoosh raat"…Rahtod said in very lower tone, "use manhoos raat ne sab kuch badal diya hai humare bich mein" now they don't share that friendship bond… everything has changed… but they both still care for each other… Rathod was hoping that everything would become just like it was before… so as Arjun… Riya over heard that, "manhoosh raat!!?? Aisa kya hua tha? Kya badal gaya?" Riya thought to herself and then she said to herself, "nahi mujhe ab Rathod sir se bhi data nahi khani… mujhe unki life mein interfere nahi karna chaiye… par phir bhi kaunsi manhoosh raat ke bare mein bol rahe the sir…" she couldn't keep herself out of this...
