Vanraj is right!

Anupamaa needs to know her boundries. She has a mother. Vanraj is good at taking care of his family.

Vanraj is not wrong about friendship between man and women we can agree to disagree but there is no friendship between man and women. A man always want a little more. Maybe the women does not and most likely does not but a man hopes something will spark.

Vanraj is totally right in this scenario but it’s disappointing how Upma needs a Vanraj to tell her to keep boundaries with her stupid Ex Sasural rather than realising this herself.

If Anooj dared to tell her to keep boundaries with the TamaShahs then she’d give him 100 lectures on why it’s important to visit your Maayka daily and take care of your parents in old age (funny how she doesn’t care about Kanta)

However as soon as Sher Shah ordered her she obeyed him right away like a good little girl maid.

As a man who has had and have many women friends, this is so so wrong. I never wanted anything more from the friends

Regressiveness and sexism works both ways, when we call out men for their backwards thinking about many things concerning women, it's equally important to call out regressive thinking against men too. Both such things stem from sexism and women pay the price.

The very reason women are restricted in India is because of such thinking, they are prohibited to network with male colleagues or make friends. Meanwhile men network and keep climbing the career ladder through connections.

Imagine the scenario, dont go to school as your teacher is a man so wants more. Dont go to work as your boss is a man and wants more. Don't work on projects with male colleagues, dont step out from the kitchen when your husbands male friends come home etc, etc. Where does this thought leave women? This thought is also designed to repress women and keep them hidden inside the kitchen.

So vanraj while being married to upma can sleep with a married kavya but Dimpy who is a widow cannot even become friends with a boy ?

Vanraj is a hypocrite. When he was an extra marital affair with Kavya it was alright but Dimpy is restricted to even have a male friend just because she's a widow. Vanraj has a one track mind. He wants to rule everyone excluding his spoilt brat Pakhi. These rules and regulations are only for Dimpy. He can't show his power to Kavya because she won't take his shit. Why can't he give 2 slaps to Pakhi and ask her to leave Shah house? Why can't he put 2 cents in her brain? Pakhi is responsible for this mess. She purposely called Vanraj via video call to spite Dimpy. She and Vanraj are both same.
