For fostering 2yrs of marriage is not a criteria. Anuj anupama haven't applied for adoption yet.

For fostering govt pays foster parents. Foster parents have first right to adopt the child with no claimants .

Makers must have researched in these things that's why they introduced fostering instead of adoption. Otherwise in daily soap who cares about what law says Or they could have shown time lapse of 2yrs. Fostering vs adoption gave track for more drama n twists.

I have written "if no claimants" means if no one else claims. If biological parents claims more chances of them winning depending in which situation they left the child, what is their source of income, child's future etc. Court listens to everyone's claims before passing judgement.

Like If Maya would have left the child for security n would be in same profession n would still wanted the child court would have ruled in favor of foster parents for securing future of child. But since Maya is now in a normal business so her rights r supreme.
