anyways, this is from the original Kasauti Zindagi Kay...she was his 2nd wife, he had kids. they had grandkids and many marriages in between (ekta kapoor show 😆), it was on for 8 years i think and very popular.

the lead was older than her, but they were always hugging, caressing and loving up on each other.

no one was burning effigies so i dont get what they think is gonna happen if anuj-anupamaa have some physical intimacy.

btw she sounds really rude.

I don’t think leap will work. This is Anupama’s story. Her professional and personal growth is what people are interested. Rather than having the semi circle tiff every day, if they show real struggles of succeeding in career, performing in stages, growing personally in a successful marriage would do the charm.

Just makers have to keep away their obsession with a person. Keep personal and professional relationship separate and work on story line, the show will be back on track

A leap… not necessarily though. They can revive it through logical plots like Anu’s professional growth along with her education, MaAn’s relationship after marriage (there are countless ideas regarding this), saying goodbye to SH cringe and so on.

I agree with Reetika and Smitha here. The core problem is that the story doesn't revolve around Anupama's pursuit of starting a new life anymore. As long as they stay focused on the Shah family and their problems, even a leap can't salvage the show.

Don't know if they will script it well, but the potential of anu and Anuj figuring out their marriage is appealing, and I'd like to see that. A leap can't give that though.
