maybe Madam Writer wasnt born then??? 🤣
we definitely arent getting more conservative so what exactly is the problem???

Aliiiiiii where were you? Finance space keeping you busy?
On your question, I agree with everyone. Leap isn’t needed. The story can actually move forward only if they remember the reason for starting this show.
Professional and personal progress of the FL and how she manages another relationship with all the baggage.
There aren’t many mature love stories currently so this angle will work too. We have had BALH and Kasautii which did very well. Both had their fair share of dramas and were long running with leaps.
But you can def have a short serial giving important messages like what the makers had initially thought for this one
To answer your question on what’s wrong - the problem isn’t that they don’t want to show mature romance. The ground is pretty much set and audience is going to love it they know.
The issue is that this element will lead to someone losing screen space and importance and that is what they don’t want. He will then remain a second fiddle which ofc doesn’t suit the characteristic of a “hero”
If you see the pattern, the writing has become sloppy and pathetic since the start of this year when that whole track failed and that has kind of derailed them. And has added immense pressure on the writers to force cringey scenes. It is evident that they know what they are doing but are tied down due to a personal bias.
Like Arya mentioned, show growth and some movement and see the show doing wonders. But at what expense is something they need to weigh - friendship or money/fame (also I doubt if this is a normal friendship of sorts. He does have something quite “juicy” up his sleeve which has had makers by their necks and/or could be a serious finance element where he has an upper hand)
