yeah that's a good point. there's no way they can do both shows. at best, make it a finite series or if they really need to show us what was happening in 2005, can they not just do flashbacks like normal people? is a whole entire show needed??
Exactly my point! Why would you make a prequel where the female lead's dreams were crushed by her husband? They could've dedicated a mahaepisode to it, at best. Wouldn't we all love it if Anuj's life in the US was shown as a prequel? Had it been Anuj indirectly offering a chance to Anupama to move to the US, it would have made much more sense than showing Vanraj and his ex girlfriend! Did you watch yesterday's MaAn day reel? They looked so cute as 28 year olds! GauRup can easily pull off an alternate universe spin off about Anuj being married to Anupama after college. That would be such a super hit, worth every penny invested in it! And also worth the audience's time.
There were so many times the show should have taken a leap but didn't.
I think post divorce a small leap would have been nice showing Anu in new avatar and business. Instead we got a shit show
This was one show that I couldnt miss after Anuj entered but it became clear that Rajan Shahi was hell bent on pissing on this show so haven't watched after Malvika first entered. Truth be told...don't miss the abusive misogynistic dialogues / story lines one but. At some point MaAn became very cringe & forced. Show has lost its appeal and they will struggle now to get trp of over 3 whereas at one point it was 4.5

i havent seen you around in a while. sorry to tell you but it's only gotten worse since then. not much to redeem now, altho i guess they are trying to do the same with namaste america. i am curious tho, what do you watch in ITV that isnt misogynistic?
sigh. yup. they have more chemistry in the reels unfortunately. im on the episode from last week where anupamaa tells samar she was supposed to go to the US and Vanraj is there reflecting on how/why he feels strange her moving on. what the actual f***. seriously??? ugh, how much more can we complain i guess. this show is never going to be what we want it to be and it's never going to go back to what it was. i havent seen NA as yet, will try to catch it on the weekend

Did the writers forget she married him to get to Prem they legit forgot that
