Very nice article and very valid points. I have myself been thinking if the timing was right or not and there are things to consider here

To the point of why Anupama did not have this conversation earlier, I agree she could have had the conversation about her father being equally guilty in the EMA earlier than this. But apart from that, any conversation that Anupama could have tried to have, I'm pretty sure Pakhi would have dismissed her off.

Given Pakhi's nature, we have seen that if she thinks a certain way, nobody can reason out with her. If we see previous examples like the school fire, she knew her mother was right, her mother assured her that she wont let anything bad happen to her, but all Pakhi wanted was her mother to take the blame because she wanted to be safe. She even admitted to herself that she didnt care if her mother was right or not.

When Pakhi took Kavya as a mother to her school, her father was an accomplice to that. She was not alone. When Anupama and rest of the family came to know about it, Samar tried to reason out but she being a brat dismissed him off. Anupama was shocked and hurt, so any other elder could have also tried to explain the same thing, but nobody tried. Do you know why? Because her father supported her. Even if Anupama scolded her at that time, Vanraj would have shut her up as usual.

In the end, all I know is respect is not demanded, it is earned. And Anupama always did everything to earn her respect. But a selfish person like Pakhi who was always supported in her unworthy actions by her father treated her like trash. And now, when she is realizing her mother's value by living with a potential step-mom, she wants to treat her the way she has been treating her mother all these years and expects to be supported by her father.

I feel bad for Pakhi, but everything that Anupama said to her made sense to me.

Anupama handled it well by sticking up for pakhi in front of the family and then speaking to her privately about her bad behaviour

Although Anu failed to reprimand herself for allowing Pakhi to think women’s duty is in the kitchen by being complacent last 25 years so...there’s that

Pakhi may be under stress but so is everyone else

Her behaviour still comes off as selfish rather than hurt / let down. She may be young but her word and actions towards other still hurt. She treated her mom like trash when Anu tried to talk to her previously and Kinjal as well.

I don’t feel sympathy for Pakhi because of the way her track has been executed. She has been shown to be selfish and narcissistic. We never really got any scenes where she shows remorse or retrospection on her actions. The CV failed here I think

I agree that Pakhi is being shown as selfish and narcissistic. She just wants things her way and doesn't care about others feelings. But it's not easy watching your parents going through a divorce, it's not easy to watch your so-called perfect life being taken away from you suddenly, to suddenly feel like you have no place to go.

I know Pakhi needed to be called out, to be given a reality check but at least for today and the way things played out today I actually felt that today was not the day for this. And fine Anupama wanted to call out Pakhi for her behaviour towards her all these years but why all this accepting Kavya and stuff when she needed to understand why Pakhi was accusing Kavya of lying.

Totally agree that has the CVS not make Pakhi so self-centred we could have actually got a much real storyline showing the effects of an actual divorce on a kid. But now this whole storyline almost lost its impact.

I don't think the makers will go that route. Pakhi will me found and all will be okay. But what needs to be seen is who will be blamed for all this??

Yes, Pakhi is used to dismissing her off but just the way Anupama was stern with her today she should have been stern before and called Pakhi out for her behaviour.

Everything that Anupama said to Pakhi was completely true but my only point is that it should have happened a longtime ago and not today.

I think Pakhi is fine

Me thinks it’s Samar that finds her

Completely agree! Right words, wrong timing. She was not in a state to listen, misinterpreted it all and then took the drastic step

I don't think Anu said anything wrong this time...

Pankhi's running away wasn't Anu's fault at all... imo the blame is shared between Pankhi herself, Kavya and Vanraj.

Even Vanraj himself accepted that this is all his fault, so how can we be blaming Anu 😕?
