1. Umm. No. Not only is what you’re saying very regressive, it is also very disturbing (reading most of your comments).

2. Peacefully as in how so, because the minute Kinjal would answer Baa, it’d become “back answering elders” and a 101 taunts by Baa coming her way.

3. Your third step should be step 1, because it’s not aggressive, it’s solid and crystal clear if anything. You are making it sound like the same step 3 of telling Baa not to interfere in her matters is an extreme decision or something, when it’s just a simple boundary Kinjal would reinforcing.

Simply baffled by most of what you’ve said going by almost all of your comments.

Respect is give & take regardless of age

A 70 yr old doesn’t earn immediate respect with the right to insult at will...that person would just continue to lose respect if they did that

Also I hope Kinjal gives Anu a subtle makeover for the office ...the housemaid looks more fashionable than Anu

I do like they keep her simple and not in gaudy clothes but once in a while some change in hairstyle or Mu or outfits is not a bad thing

hoping Anu looks more upgraded once she starts working

BTW why & HOW is Anu doing everything? She is teaching online dance, doing all chores, looking after family and now working ?

My two cents on the whole giving back to baa. If we look at the way Rakhi treats Pramod and the way she handled the marriage matter makes one believe that because of her affluence she thinks she can say what she pleases and get away with it. Kinjal may have seen the equation between her parents and may have fallen for toshu because he has so many people who shower affection. People like Baa will not change till they see reality on their own. She is now in the turn a blind eye to her Ghar ka chirag mode. She does get hyper when Toshu has his panic attack.

Kinjal does not have to react to every taunt nor does she have to put up with everything. One has to choose which are big issues to handle and which to go by.meaness need not always be treated with meaness then all that will be left is a bunch of meanies.

Baa has no business to comment on Kinjal not knowing cooking but I remember when I was a new bride even issues like chopping vegetables using a knife were commented by my husband's aunt's when they would come for long stay overs. I like Kinjal was studying when my parents got me married.

I chose to respond to the taunts about my dark complexion and my way of doing things with a smile. In time people realised I was not biting their bait.

We need to be assertive which is the way Anu is now responding to Vee and Kavya.

Rakhee is mean and agressive. I'm surprised at the level she stooped to . It is definitely not wararranted. We see the respect shown by Pramod and the reaction of Rakhee in private.

Whatever the outcome the events are going to define the journey of Anupama. The others are only part of the ensemble. She is the lead singer...the others are accompanying artists and technicians.

I understand all of us compare anupamas situation with us at some point and derive conclusions . The only problem here is that our families ARE probably better n worth compromising for...or may be we get something so much better in return that little things (even people like ba) can be ignored. The main pillar of a marriage is the husband ,if the husband is good and supportive, rest everything can be managed. In anupamas case her husband is at the forefront ..causing more misery to her than anyone else.

Not all people deserve it. Moreover , giving it back the first time or 100th is meaningless, either ppl have it in them or they dont , to have a tactical approach with their in laws....Anupama doesnt have it ...she may be a little aggressive with kavya but that's bec she has nothing to lose but with this thankless family she has been doing it for 25 years and still these ppl didnt change or value her compromise. Infact they accepted Anupama as their fav doormat. Its given that they r so oblivious to her hurt , that they think it's normal ..isnt this exactly what the whole.problem is with this woman ?

Totally agree every married girl needs to filter out her responses. Let's wait and watch in kinjal s case how much of it is worth.

Shanti se baat karna matlab yeh nahin woh uske saamne jhuk rahe hain . Woh ladaai kar sakte hain pur is ladaai ke side effect bahut hote hain , country mein economic crises aa jaate hain aur bahut se loss hote hain ladaai ki wajahon se jinhe recover karne mein kai mahine lag jaate hain

Yahi baat family mein apply hoti hai ghar mein jyaada jhagda ho to baccho ki padhai , aur family member ke health effect hote hain phir saara paisa doctor aur lawyer mein kharch ho jaata hai and bacchon ka proper development nahin ho paata

Inhi side effect log ladaai avoid karte hain ladaai na karne ka matlab nahi ki woh doormat ho gaye . Woh bhaari nuksaan ko dekhte hue ladaai avoid karte hain

Magar phir bhi shanti se baat nahin samjhte to ladaai to hoti hi hai

Yeah was disappointed to see that Anu still has the same thinking after everything that's happened... And even more disappointed to see Baa still talking shit ...

I feel the problem with Anu is that though she's undoubtedly a good mother, MIL, DIL and wife, she hasn't realised even now that (though it's desirable) it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to keep EVERYONE happy ALL THE TIME... there is no decision you can take in life that everyone in your life will be happy with...

What we should all do is strive to do the right thing, rather than just keeping everyone (including stupid people like Baa or evil people like Vanraj) happy, which will eventually just lead us to doing things we really don't want to do, and worse still supporting things we know are wrong (like what Anu was doing in Friday's episode)...

This isn't to say we shouldn't think about other's happiness when making decisions, as we definitely should... but we need to think and decide who those "others" are, i.e. who's needs/wants/opinions we're actually going to prioritize whilst doing what we think is right, (like in my case that'll always be my Mom ❤️), instead of naively thinking you can somehow keep everybody equally happy with you all the time. Because that will forever be impossible for every one of us, even if we ignore our own wishes for this cause...
