I appreciate that but peace can only be achieved with effort from both sides, why is Anu slowly going back to purani wali Anu who didn't know how to respectfully disagree with someone who is in the wrong?

EXACTLY.

This show is pushing and anupama is pushing sankar and respect to a point where it degrades the woman.

She was degraded sucked it uo and tolerated it so now her bahu should.

I am all for respecting your elders but not everything elders say or suggest is good. You have to have a voice against it. It can be said nicely but it has to be said. Crying in a corner snd slowly suffering or being muted only ends in disaster.
