Friday, 13 June

Looks like the date was inauspicious for Sameer. 😃

Recap of hospital scene. Disabled hero lies in bed. Exhausted heroine lies by his bedside. "Dr Sameer" is poised to inject poison into ACD. Hero's eyes twitch; fingers quiver. Meanwhile, two doctors are shown walking down the stairs. Back to Sameer's stealthy look. He then starts to inject poison into a syringe. Then, as Priya tosses and turns, he walks over to the bottom of ACD's bed and looks at the clinical chart hanging there. Priya gets up and is surprised to see Sameer. He coolly says he is just doing a routine check-up while Priya stares at him open-mouthed. Sameer leaves the room. Looks like he didn't inject the syringe into ACD or the IV tubes.

Minutes later, the other two doctors walk into the room and examine the clinical chart, then tell Priya that they were just doing a routine check-up. Priya informs them that another doctor, "a bearded man who looks like a singh", had just come in a while earlier to do a routine check-up. The two doctors are puzzled, then leave. On the way out, they both wonder who the sardar could be since they don't have any in their hospital, to their knowledge. They decide that since ACD is a marked man, they'd better keep the police informed anyway.

Abhi is unable to sleep. Goes to next room and sees Kanakku's child in slumber with the maid. Recalls Nari Narendran's words that the child is a potential threat not just to his life but to that of her father's.

PI Indran is going to the market (looks like) when he spots the car used in the murder of 1-Kai Subbhu by SKPD's henchmen. He strikes up a conversation with Naryana and learns that it was Shanthi who had paid for the car on the latter's behalf without checking its history. Narayana has a distressed look. Indran assures him that he won't be in any trouble as long as he reports at the Commissioner's office when called upon to do so.

Narayana goes to Shanthi's home and reports his conversation with Indran. Omni regrets not having bought Narayana a new car and instead having landed him in potential trouble. She asks to be kept informed of any investigations he is called up for.

Abhi goes to Raji Trust with Kanakku's child (anybody knows what her name is, poor kid). She tells RK that she would like the child to grow up in the orphanage, that its dad used to be their Kanakku but is now in jail over a small matter, mom had died, and child is now unable to speak. RK says he'd willingly admit the child to the orphanage but Abhi will have to do the unpleasant task of putting in an application personally to the founder of the Trust … Madam Charu! Abhi gives her famous constipated look, then says she will put aside considerations of "face" as the child's future is uppermost (aargh!)

Arjun, the Shadow, has been summoned to Shanthi's home. He enters the open house and stands there immersed in dreamland. Yes, totally unnecessary scene of him recalling his bad dream, just to show how agonized he is. Omni interrupts his dream, welcoming him in. Arjun grunts his replies and shows a face that looks a monkey that has eaten ginger. Arjun asks whether Karthik, the Baggage, is in and Omni immediately calls for Karthik, much to Arjun's displeasure. She says it was Karthik who had asked her to invite him. She goes off to make coffee. Karthik says he needs Arjun's help to dispose of the car that had been foisted upon Narayana by "thirudargall" who have done "ayokkyam". Arjun bristles at Karthik's mention of these words and accuses him of also having done "ayokkyam". Karthik, of course, is totally clueless and says Arjun must be joking and asks for an explanation. Arjun says he should seek the answer in his conscience. "Don't force me to speak about it or I will spill the beans ..." he says as Omni and coffee come in. Omni wonders why her Shadow is speaking to her Baggage as if he were addressing an enemy. Arjun gives no response, declines coffee and leaves in a huff.

JC and Commissioner are in discussion. Comm is displeased at the lack of progress in the investigation of ACD's shooting. Shankar comes in. Comm asks for a progress report but Shankar has nothing to update. Comm asks about SKPD's wherabouts. Shankar starts to say that SKPD has changed his SIM card and doesn't even contact Abhi. Comm tells him to "shut up" and asks that he reply yes or no directly to his question. Shankar admits he has no idea of SKPD's whereabouts. Comm humiliates him and tells him to leave. He asks JC what the solution is. JC says he has a "humble submission". He says many of the investigations need to be done adroitly and that he has in mind for the task an investigator from the Special Unit, Alex Pandian.

Final scene. A bunch of police constables are standing outside the police station, gossiping about the special investigator who will be coming in. One bloke says Alex P is a no-nonsense guy who doesn't say much, doesn't hit people but will get things done. Another relates that in Thoothukudi, when there had been a public call for doing away with police batons, Alex P had argued successfully in court that even school teachers and God in his many pictorial representations do carry sticks or something to that effect. JC arrives and tells the cops to prepare for Alex P's arrival and then disappears into the office building.

Soon, a black SUV comes roaring amidst sonorous music (no, not Jaypadhu Nijam😃 Out steps a tall, beefy bloke in sneakers, brown pants and a black shirt. He's wearing sunglasses and has a stiff moustache and greasy hair. Looks a bit like Malayalee actor Mohanlal. Definitely middle-aged. (Sorry, CR. In my "humble submission", Alex Pandian is a looooong way from Durai Pandian in looks, manner and style!) Freeze

Jun 16th: Thaangalaida saami😕

Alex Pandian arrives.Now we find that the Commissioner office is shifted to the hospital where ACD is trying to move his eyelids. Alex Pandian - Mammooty, CBI kanakka makes a grand entry with 2 of his aides into the conference room where C, JC, ACS and others are waiting. Introductions over, Alex thanks JC. Shankar offers the case file. Alex declines. ACS mugam surungi pocchu.

Aduthu everyone goes to the ICU and Priya is introduced - ACD still in the same position. They all come out. Alex wants all the records of people who visited the hospital ( ippadi than ennakku purinjudhu) and even the medical reports, forensic reports etc. JC ellam erpadu pannaren solraru.

Nari visits Abi and asks where 'kutti chaataan' is. Abi says the child is with her relatives. Guess the CHs are afraid we have short term memory loss😳- Nari keeps on repeating how 'kutti chaatan' can testify against himself and ultimately against SKPD. Adhe look on Abi.

Indran visits JC. JC wants to know what the ooru is speaking, idhai poi Indrana ketpanen? TV, newspaper, forums idhula ellam JC kku nambikkai illai pola irukku😳- Indran says Alex is the talk of the town😆😆. JC is overwhelmed - Alex vandhadhukke ithanai peccha, innum velai pannitta eppadi irukkum😃( 😭- paavam idhe madiri than ACD vandha podhu kooda nadanduthu. solradhukku illai,1 year from now, Alex may occupy the next bed in ICUand then a third Thilax Pandiyan might turn up😡😆). Indran updates JC about the travels car involved in 1Kai Subbu's murder, car resale, Narayanan and Shanthi link

JC, Alex and team in civies - they go to the accident spot and recreate the crime scene. Ansari takes the place of Sameer and shoots at the bommai ACD first from a bike, then from a 4WD. Alex romba brillianta, eppadi kazhuthuleyum, kaileyum kundadi pattudhunu establish pannararu😉. JC is impressed. Then aides kooda case ai analyse pannararu, pannararu appadi pannaru.

Indran again goes to Meesai and 'dissolves tamarind'😳 (vayathula puli karaikiraru) by accusing him that Meesai has a hand in the murder and is hiding the driver. Indran takes a pic of meesai. Meesai promises to look for the driver in every nook and corner of the city.

Alex reaches his house or hotel suite, and sits before his laptop and we again see all those pics of injured ACD. Alex facela dhideer bulb - freeze

jun 17th:

Alex pays another visit to the ICU and enquires Priya about the doctors who visited the previous day. He specifically asks about the Sardar doctor. He comes out and ask his aides to find out about the sardar doctors working in the hospital.

Shanthi goes to Arjun's house. Anitha is alone. Shanthi enquires what is the problem between Arjun and Karthik. Anitha says she doesnot know and asks Shatnhi to find out from Arjun or Karthik. Shanthi says she couldn't find out. Anitha suggests it may be becos Karthik slapped her. Shanthi says she does not believe so and ask Anitha to speak about it to Arjun.Shanthi leaves and Anitha manasukkulla - Karthik annanukku kadaliyum kuzhandaiyum irukara vishayam Arjunukku theriyumnu eppadi solven - Arjunukku therinjadhu than prachanai pola and not kadali and kuzhandai 😕

Nari goes to Indra's sis place and enquires about the child and learns that the girl is with Abi. Nari now suspects Abi and vows to find the child.

Meesai gets hold of the broker who sold him the white car and slaps him. Meesai threatens the broker if he doesnot find the driver, he would definitely land in police trouble.

Shanthi and Karthik - Shanthi is sogam personified and Karthik has no clue about Arjun's behaviour and decides to pay him a visit.

Sameer calls his boss. Boss kaduthufies once again that Sameer has failed in his mission. Sameer says he would finish it off somehow and then return.

Alex & team, JC, C - Alex plays the CD having telephone conversations of SKPD and they listen to the specific call of Sameer , where he says he has finished ACD with 2 bullets. Alex deduces the shooter is from North and can be located if SKPD is nabbed. Alex says that instead of searching for SKPD, he would do something to bring him out. C gives permission.

Karthik visits Arjun.Anitha is not at home. Arjun doesnot reveal anything and feels sorry for his behaviour before Shanthi. Arjun says -for nimmadhi of everyone concerned (except Anandham viewers ofcourse 😡 )it is better they did not see each other. Karthik leaves.

Charu meets Abi on the roadside and cautions about Alex. Abi reiterates her father belongs to the Singam species. Charu says Singam can be caged in the zoo or can become stuffed in hunter's house. Abi says she would never do drogam to father and leaves.

Manisha is travelling by auto closely followed by brother darling in a bike. She goes to Kashmir Tourism office where her manager warns her for taking so many days off. Sameer enquires some one like an attender & learns Manisha works there. He leaves.

Sankar and Nari- Shankar is polambifying that Alex Pandian has insulted him. Nari says that was expected cos both Shankar and Nari were helping SKPD, the former cos of enemity with ACD and the latter for dhuttu.

Alex Pandian swimming in the pool. Aides walk in. Alex says that there are moles in the department and ask Vasudev to bring the control room constable who had been loyal to SKPD.He asks Ansari to stand guard? 😛 while he plunges into the pool again. The constable is seen buying items with 1000 Rs note. Vasudev round him up and bring him to Alex. Alex tries a nermai nyayam talk - not impressive 😃 and finally the PC accepts everything - everything recorded on camera.

Srini now sing praises of Alex to Abi and wonders how Singam aiya can be saved - similar dialogues we have heard before about an Asst Commissioner who finally grew devadas beard 😆 😆
Abi says even Charu warned her about Alex, but not for similar reasons. Abi worries Charu wants to see SKPD dead. Srini starts thandiram velai- some talk about dogs- they bark at outsiders if everything is fine inside and the same dogs can turn against their masters 😳
He says he would create problems for Charu beginning at the college which she purchased from Abi - aiyo marupadi angerndha? 😭 😭. Abi silently walks inside and comes back with crisp bundles. Srini brightens.

Shankar in civies, is ready to leave somewhere. Ansari and Vasudev take him to Alex - same hotel, swimming pool side - no swimming now.
Alex says though Shankar didn't take bribes except for the 42" TV, he favoured SKPD. Alex accuses ACS that inspite of him knowing about the control room PC, he had not taken any action.Alex gives Shankar a deadline of 24 hrs to find SKPD - freeze

June 19 (Thurs):

Alex P, his assistants are traveling in a Sumo. Ansari tells AP that they have received a red alert. He says that they are to keep close watch at Airports, train stations because they have received info about terrorists had entered Tamilnadu from Kashmir. AP thinks about what they can do to about locating these terrorists and his assistants say they should monitor all main port of entries. AP says it is not enough to just watch this ports but they should watch the vehicles supplies everyday into Tamilnadu from Kashmir.

Shanti goes to Rajeshwari Trust and when she enters sees Monisha going out. Shanti asks if she is going somewhere. Monisha asks if Indu came with her but Shanti says she had gone out with Karthik. Shanti then asks about Rocky's health. Monisha tells her that he is getting better and thanks Shanti for her contibution of $300,000 for Rocky's treatment. Shanti tells her not to thank her for it as she only did her duty. Monisha then asks how Karthi is doing and Shanti tells her about Arjun and Karthik's strained relationship. Monisha tells Shanti not ot worry and takes leave. Shanti goes in and sees RK and tells her about Arjun and Karthik's problem. RK tells her to leave it to him and he will see what he can do about it.

A blue Suzuki Maruti is being followed closely by two guys on motorcycle (Looks like Abi is driving). AP is working on his computer in his house and his assistant informs him that Insp. Indran is there to see him and AP tells him to send him in. AP is happy that Indran has come to see him and that it had been a long time since he saw him last. Indran meets AP and is greeted by AP. AP asks if he had retired and since he has, to stop calling him 'Sir'. They talk about old times and AP tells Indran that he is happy to see him and wants him to visit again when his family arrives. Indran takes leave.

Monisha goes to Anita and tells her that she met Shanthi ar the Trust. Monisha tells Anitha that Shanti informed her that Arjun and Karthik are having some problems and that she is feeling bad about it. Anita also tells her that Shanti had asked her but she somehow handled the situation. Monisha feels they had made a mistake by telling Arjun about Rocky and Karthik and suggests that she should ask for transfer to another state. Anita tells her no to do anything like that and that she will talk to Arjun and there will be no more problems. Monisha takes leave saying she needs to go to the bank.

Anita is in her room. Arjun goes to her and Anita tells him to stop fighting with her brother. She tells him that she should not have told him anything. Arjun tells her that he cannot be like her and keep quiet about such matters and pretend that everything is fine. Anita tells him that Monisha wants to leave the place with Rocky because of this. Arjun gets angry and tells Anita tha he will leave instead and for Anita to call hin when everything is settled. Anita is worried.

Indran is looking at some papers and studying them closely. Shanti visits Anita's MIL. Anita's MIL complains about Anita and tells Shanti that efore she can tell Arjun about Anita but now Arjun gets angry. Shanti tells her that she is there to talk about Arjun's anger. Arjun's mom says that in the begining, Arjun did not like Monisha but now the three of then are best of buddies and talk all the time. They stop when they see her. Shanti tells her not worry because soon they will find out what it is all about. Shanti then takes leave.

Indran stops at a Lodge and shows a photograph to the manager and asks if he had stayed there. The man looks at Indran and asks who he is. Indran says he is police and the man immediately says he has not seen the man. Indran asks why he did not answer immediately and asks agains if the man is staying there. The man tells Indran that he is staying in Room No, 19 and has gone out. Indran quickly calls JC and informs him. A little while later the man returns and is taken by AP's assistant to his office. AP goes to the man and stares at him. THODARUM[OCOPY]

Tuesday 24/6/08

Recap of Alex listening to the conversation between Sameer and
SKPD - Alex puts on his thinking cap!!! and says that Sameer is
not a friend or crony of SKPD - " Tamil is different.... North Indian...
SKPD has mafia connections...... I have a few ideas brewing in my
mind but we have no time for any such trial and error mode... We need
to nail the black sheep in our department.." Vasu asks if he has any
one particular in mind and Alex says that he is not comfortable with
AC Shankar " enmity with Durai.... friend of SKPD..." Just then Indran
comes to meet Alex. Alex wants Indran to shadow Nari -" as an outsider, u can do a better job" ( Oh.. so, Alex also has lost hopes with CR and his esteemed police force!!!??? awww, u can say that again
Alex....Roja understands😳😳) Indran obliges.

Ex omni comes to a restaurant with Indhu - sees Manisha , presiding Omni and Rakhi enjoying a meal. Ex omni does an ACD act - furrows her brows - and Indhu rushes to meet Rakhi. Before ex could probe and get some gossip out, Charu leaves saying that she will host a meal later for ex and her daughter.....

Nari meets fellow nari Abi - again a nadu theru conference - looks like it is the safest place to discuss all important issues - Nari informs Abi that he is a police man and Abi expresses surprise like all of us ( appa, Nari...appo appo remind us.. we have no clue as to who is the police and who is the criminal - CR has effectively confused us😳😳) Nari addresses Abi as "va po" and says that only SKPD is his boss -
"pls do not nurse any ideas of bossing over me,ok?" and finally says that he found out Abi's lie -"u left that kid in an ashram and lied to me??" He also says that he was the one who cautioned SKPD about the trap laid by Alex. Abi finally says that she is not ready to sacrifice
kanakku's kid -"if any thing happens to her ,u wont be around" Nari leaves. As Roja was watching Indran also had a good look at Abi -Nari
conference.

Manisha is happily walking ( not afraid of bro any more??) Sameer
gets hold of her and wants her to come with him - "oru nadu theru conference podalaam vaa" Manisha refuses but Sameer tells her that he knows where Rakhi is and will kill him. Manisha goes with him and Sameer prefers road side meet - threatens Manisha - wants her to spill the beans about Rakhi's dad. Manisha says that Sameer is after the wrong victim -"Rakhi's dad has no clue that he has sired a son like this. Please leave us in peace" Sameer has a set mind - "first the dad
of Rakhi, then the child..." A police car passes with sirens and Sameer scoots.

An episode of visions - ex omni can not forget the fact thatCharu treated Manisha and Rakhi for a meal... has visions of Arjun's mom talking about Manisha " muthalle Arjun did not like her but later every thing changed.." has visions of Charu eating with Manisha....(awwww,
na illame the world moves..people eat???!!! atrocious😳😳)

Manisha has visions of Sameer threatening her. Calls ammi jaan and
wants her to come to Madras asap.

Ex omni confers with loser Madan about Charu treating Manisha.
Madan says that either they met at the restaurant accidentally or Charu brought Manisha for a meal so that she can discuss the trip.
Omni is not willing to buy this theory "it looked as if they know each other well.and if it is official why should Rakhi be there?"Madan tries to say that may be Manisha asked for money from Charu for Rakhi but ex says that the money given by her is supposed to take care of
Rakhi's treatment. Finally, dispenses Madan saying that she will do the detective job by herself. Now it is Madan's turn to wonder -"why is Shanthi so skeptical about Charu being friendly with Manisha??"

Alex brings Priya to a graphics guy.... to identify the sardar doctor -
muted instructions from Priya....bingo......Sameer as a sardar on the screen..... recognized look from Priya...Alex goads.."is he the one?"
...... Priya decides to answer the Q in the next episode...

Wed June 25

Warning: Scenes may be out of sequence.

Recap of Priya agreeing that the composite picture drawn by the policeman is close to what she saw of Sameer as a Surd Dr. AP instructs the policeman to try and match that with photos of criminals(?) in their records. Naan oru muttaal. I thought the police don't keep photos of criminals, such as those in their jails, a la VM.

Arjun in his bike dealership store spots Omni walking over and panics. He grabs a phone at an open table and starts pretending to argue loudly with someone, pointedly denying he had any problems and not to bugged about any arguments he had ha. Omni has come in midway and waits patiently, seemingly not listening to his conversation. Arjun continues his charade. One of his office ladies interrupts him and asks if the phone was working! She informs him that the phone was reported not working that morning and that upsets Arjun! Omni sees the opportunity and pulls the phone from him and also pretends to talk to the person on the other end. Arjun is embarassed and repeats his line about not having any complaints against Karthik, etc. He hurriedly asks her to take a seat and insists that she have a cup of coffee while excusing himself due to some urgent work inside.

Shanthi is at home sitting at the sofa downstairs lost in thought. She talks to herself wondering about Arjun's behaviour and wondering what was connection with Anitha & Manisha. She seems to think it has some connection to her, and not just Karthik. Karthik sees her from upstairs and walks down. Omni does not notice him until Karthik interrupts her. Omni reveals her line of thought and Karthik advises her not to worry about it. He believes that Arjun will reveal more when the time is right. He asks her for a cup of coffee and goes up to their room. While seated on the bed, he doesn't follow his own advice and starts to wonder about Arjun. Shanthi comes over with a cup and interupts him! As she hands over the cup, Karthik fumbles and bam - the cup falls down and breaks, with coffee spilling all over.

Inspector Naren comes over to ACS house. ACS starts warning him about AP and that its time Naren straightened out. Naren watches with a sneer on his face. He finally says that he is not afraid of anyone and definitely not AP. He tells ACS to keep his advice to himself; he says if you ever want to print a book of such advices, I will publish it with my own money. As he leaves on his mobike, Indran steps out from behind a bush. Neenga ellaam Indran sar irukkaaraa illaiyaannu kaetka koodaathu paarunga.

White (nice looking) car on the road with Manisha's mom on the backseat. Its Arjun behind the wheel. For the sake of those of us who are clueless, Manisha calls Arjun on his cell phone and he confirms that he picked up her mom and is on the way (to his) home. They arrive and Manisha and her mom embrace outside. When mom asks about her grandson Manisha asks her to be a bit patient and that they are planning on it. Anitha also comes out and asks Manisha to take her mom inside. When Manisha introduces Anitha as the one who saved Rocky, her mom says if only she were younger, she would have touched Anitha's feet. [senti lines in this manner.> Arjun advises them all to get ready quickly before Anitha's mom returns home. They are planning on leaving for Charu's home.

Indran meets AP in his home/office with his assistants standing by. Indran reports that Inspector Naren has a lot of corruption complaints against him. AP doesn't seem to buy that stating that its easy for anyone to complain but he needed proof. Indran says he has that. He elaborates that Naren joined the police force in 1984 and came from a poor family. He got married in 88 (?) and his wife's family too was poor. None of Naren's family members, uncles & aunts, were rich either. Yet today Naren has houses, shops & estates in Ooty, Mettupalayam & Conoor (some 3 town names). Indran hands over AP a report of all of Naren's property holdings. Indran states that Naren had registered all these properties in his family member's names. When AP questions on how he got all this money, Indran replies that he got it by taking care of all kinds of small & big crooks, helping the small ones become big. Indran adds that he in the process of collecting photos of Naren at various family functions of various criminals, questioning as to what business does a policeman have at a crook's family gathering. AP nods and asks for more proof including the photos and Indran says he will get it soon. AP seems him off outside. AP returns to his desk and looks at the report on Naren's holdings and thinks.

june 27:

what ever I can remember 😃 scenes will be definitely mixed up

AP gets the CD of terrorists from CBI and takes it to the graphics artist and sees the pics of various terrorists. Final photo is that of Sameer - so he is identified.

Anita and Arjun discussing 'kootama ellarum Rajeshwari arakattalai pona sandhegam vandhudum'- so take Charu's help in leaving Manisha's mom at the trust.Manisha and ammi jaan visit Charu and tell their problem. Presiding Omni agrees to take ex mappillai's brother's unknown wud be mother in law 😳 😳 😃

Sameer calls up boss -ivanukku idha thavira vera velaiye illai - same conversation - 'velai mudiyalai boss', boss saying 'no personal sntiments' and so on 😡 😡. Sameer cuts the call.

Abi meets Kanakku in jail. Kanakku is upset that even after four months he is still counting bars. Abi assures that she would definitely help. She informs the kutti beauty ( kannazhagi 🤗 ) is safe in Rajeshwari trust. Kanakku is not pleased, but Abi tells him the child is better off with other kids. She then warns him about AP. Kanakku assures her that he would always remain loyal to SKPD.

Charu and kashmiri mommy arrive at RK's place. Charu requests RK to employ the lady, making up a story that the lady's previous employer in Delhi requested Charu's help. RK readily takes her in and paati jaan is taken around the ashram and kids are introduced. Next we see paati jaan giving special treatment to Rocky jaan.

Srini visits Abi with the documents of the land strip purchased by SKPD blocking the pathway of Charu's township and the two decide to create problem
