Ammi jaan is teaching - Hiindi /English/Tamil - at one stroke. Manisha and Anitha visit , see grandma teaching with enthu and adjourn outside to inform us that grand ma is happy to have united with grandson - Looks like the trust believes in short teaching sessions or that grandma ran out of words - both paati and peran join Aniitha and Mani - Rakhi announces that grandma is ok and happy that she plays with him. Now he wants some younger company to play and Anitha obliges happily. Rakhi says bye to Mani aunty and goes with Anitha amma. Looks like Kashmir paati has some gossip streak in her - expresses concern over Rakhi calling Mani aunty - " unnai aunty nnum avalai amma nnum koopidaraan!!" Mani says that only Anitha qualifies -"I left him when he was just 6 months old but Anitha has been with him seeing him growing!!" Now ammi jaan wants to see SIL jaan. Manisha senses trouble immediately -" enna un pillai mathiri avarai suttu kolla poriya??" Ammi jaan says " ethu epdi nnalum avar enakku maappillai, unakku purushan" Manish puts an end to this claim then and there -"Rakhi has his mother...just mom, ok?" Ammi jaan is not convinced.

An engineer by name Elangovan comes to do some survey in a land.
Sambhandhii amma with sambhandhi saguni are spreading some red soil in that land. Elango questions their interruption but Abi says that
the land is hers. The engineer says that Charu is the woman behind this land. Srini tells him that Abi is the one who rules -" poi unga Charu amma kitte sollunga, Abirami than seyyara nnu" The engineer immediately calls Charu and informs the state of the land. Charu is
not happy to hear the news - " I will send Madan, u do not entertain any conversation with them, ok??" (athu sari , vera aal illiya mma unakku??) Elango agrees.

Baggage meets Thillalangadi Pandian - just a friendly visit - baggage offers help??!!! when needed. Some vetti talk about AP being nice like ACD et al (????!!! Nice kku enna meaning?? Roja kku vara vara chinna ordinary word kku meaning puriyalai!!! Kadu kadu nnu, duty first duty first nnu solli, anavasiyama oru ponnai azha vaichu apram oru case um kandu pidikkame....hmmmm Rojaaa vendam apram Vsur kitte irunthu oru baklava container varum😳😳) and the public being scared of the police. To relieve Roja of some tension AP and baggage stop their cootchi cooing.

Madan arrives at the land. Srini says that the main picture has started but Abi says that it is just the news reel -" main picture veet le pattu pudavai katti, aircon room le computer kitte ukkanthu irukku" Madan wants to know the reason for Abi stopping his men but Abi refuses to talk to menials like him -" Cheenu sir, avanga boss ai kekka sollunga, na bathil solren" (Abi does not talk directly to ex) Finally Charu comes on line and wants to know the reason. Abi makes fun of Charu for employing people who can not read English. Charu defends ex SIL but Abi reads the board placed on the land -" this land belongs to SKPD
and trespassers will be punished" - finally Charu gets to know that though she has paid the advance for that land SKPD has bought it paying the full amount. Charu orders loser to go the reg.office and find out the details. Madan agrees, dispenses Elango , throws an unnecessary look at ex (konjam azhaga aagittalaa?? romba rich vere ippo!! hmmm aanalum antha smirk apdiye irukku, athai konjam maathinaa......hmmm) and leaves

AP again with the graphics guy - Sameer matches with the sardar doc.
Asks his sub to summon Priya. Priya agrees to visit AP at his office.

Nallan happily deputes "Hindi kara amma" to serve coffee to maanga and baggage. Ammi jaan ( Kalima) takes the coffee, sees baggage and recognizes - recalls seeing a snap of him with Mani - looks longingly at SIL - maanga sees that look and deems it fit to introduce both. Kalima shows an emotion - love??? longing?? expectation?? vengeance??? -
Roja has no clue. Nallan enquires Hindi kara amma but she has nothing to report.

Madan fuming to Charu about the land - "we have paid the advance but they have bought it purposely" Charu tells him that both daughter and dad want to needle Charu. Madan is all set to pottu thallufy SKPD but Charu stops him "come on baby, pottu thalla enakku theriyathaa?? Ippo antha land namakku varanum , athanee?? I am the presiding Omni and I know how to do it" Madan is disappointed -"konjam hero act kudukkalam nna vida maattangale....avangale than eppovum heroine..... Shanthi yai kooda ippo ex omni nnu Roja solra..hmm"

Again Priya with graphics guy...... identification ......Sameer as a
sardar.....Priya raises her brows in recognition....but still decides to use the week end to ponder over the confirmation.....does not utter the
word" amma sir, ivan thaan" - " wk end le nalla think pannittu solren sir, namba aanandam viewrs than vadi kattina muttalgal aache, na solra varai wait pannuvaanga..."😳

Update for Monday, June 30, 2008:

Opening scene: Priya looks at the computer where the Sikh doctor's face and Sameer's face are shown side by side. AP asks her to be certain before she says anything, and she says that she is sure that Sameer and the Sikh doctor are one and the same.

Manisha is thanking Charulatha for getting her mother a job in the arakkattalai and Madhan walks in (we don't ever knock and ask for permission before we enter the boss's room, no way, that's for ordinary people). Charu tells Madhan pointedly that she is having a private talk with Manisha, Madhan continues to stand and grin foolishly, she tells him she wants to be alone and then he gets the point. He goes out, thinking there is some connection between Manisha, Charulatha and all the current problems.

Madhan tells Shanthi about his suspicions and asks Shanthi to question Charulatha.

Manisha and mom are talking, mom says that Rocky has the coloring of a Madrasi (generic term for all people from the 4 Southern states, but call a Kashmiri or Punjabi a UPite or Bihari and watch them bristle in anger) but is a Kashmiri in all other respects. (Mommy dearest, even you don't have the coloring of a Kashmiri.) She goes on to say that she even saw Mappillai dearest, and Manisha tells her to stop right there. Mommy tries to justify her actions, but Manisha tells her that she can go back or else she must promise not to meet Mappillai ever.

The doctors are looking at ACD's X-rays, and they say that the bullet has stayed in the same place for the last 30 days, that is why he is not getting the "concentration" (we have gone from "conscious" to "conscience" to "concentration" – wonder what's next?) and discuss the possibility of getting a surgeon from London, who is due in Chennai, or is already there, to look at this case.

ACD is lying in his bed, with eyes closed and we are shown flashes of Sameer as a Sikh doctor. Does this mean that ACD saw him through closed eyes? ACD must have the gift of second sight. Hmmm, all I see is a reddish glow, and I am not in a coma, maybe if I were in a coma, I would see people.

JC and AP are looking at the biodata of Sameer on the computer and discuss the connection between Sameer and ACD. AP feels that ACD is the target of terrorists because he attended the conference for prevention of terrorism and he shot Joe, so SKPD must be brought in somehow, and JC tells him to go ahead to protect the good name (???) of the police department.

Shanthi walks into Charu's house, and asks about Manisha, Charu talks about how Manisha has suffered so much, it is better to be a widow than to lose a husband and lose a child, and Manisha has had to suffer all this. She further informs Shanthi that Rocky is Manisha's son. Did they not tell her to keep quiet about this, or is she an ottaivai?

Shanthi goes home and thinks about all this, and then remembers the fight (almost) between Arjun and Karthik, and wonders if all these are related. She then goes to Anitha's house and tells her that she knows the muzhu unmai. FREEZE…
