Sony's Anamika is desperate for a new lease of life. The makers are trying every method in the book to keep the show, which is under the scanner for a long time, on air.

For this, they are even contemplating getting back Annie Gill, who played the character of Rano. "I have no idea right now. But if I get a chance, I would love to be back on the show, since I was with the show from the very starting. We have worked very hard for the show and I am very attached with my team," said Annie.

On the other hand, a source close to Annie quips." Talks are on with the production house and the actress might sign the dotted lines soon and would return with a new track."

However, the plan might be put on the back burner if the show goes off air in the next fortnight, as is the buzz.

Vikas Seth, producer of Anamika stated, "We are currently concentrating on the Chavvi-Anamika track and we have no such track to bring back Annie." Talking about the show going off air, Vikas further added, " We haven't received any official statement on the show going off, so for time being its just a rumour."

Furthermore, a source also said that Annie Gill along with Kunal Verma (who will play Laxman inDevon Ke Dev... Mahadev) will be seen in an upcoming episode of Savdhaan India-India Fights Back.

Kunal Verma remained unavailable for comments.
